Earth Power System:
After the emergence of Monsters, a mysterious energy known as Astrinebegan spreading across Earth. Humans who awaken the ability to perceive and manipulate Astrine become Awakened, gaining a unique Talent and an Astrine Blade—a supernatural weapon permanently fused with its wielder during the hour of Awakening.
Every Talent possesses a Grade from F to SSS, which determines its overall potential. The Talent also grants an innate Aspect Ability at the moment of Awakening, whose Rank is equal to the Talent’s Grade. For example, an A-Grade Talent grants an A-Rank Innate Aspect Ability. The combination of the Talent and its innate Aspect Ability determines an individual’s Total Potential, which ultimately determines how far they can evolve.
Awakened individuals grow stronger through Evolution, absorbing Astrine primarily from Monster Cores. Each Evolution strengthens both the wielder and their Astrine Blade and grants one new Aspect Ability. Unlike the initial Aspect Ability, the Rank of these abilities depends on the Strength Rank reached through that Evolution. Thus, someone evolving from B-Rank to A-Rank would gain a new A-Rank Aspect Ability.
The four fundamental pillars of the system are Form, Core, Resonance, and Authority.
Form: manifests during Awakening and represents how an individual’s Talent expresses itself through their Astrine Blade.
Core: Core is established during the First Evolution, when Astrine condenses into a powerful internal Core, greatly increasing the individual’s capacity and providing the foundation for further growth.
Resonance: It is awakened at the Fourth Evolution, when the connection between an Awakened and their Astrine Blade reaches a fundamentally higher level. The wielder and Blade begin functioning in near-perfect synchronization.
At the Final Evolution, an Awakened awakens Authority, the ultimate expression of their Talent, Form, experiences, and development. Authority allows the wielder to exert influence over a fundamental aspect of reality connected to their power.
The progression of an Awakened can therefore be summarized as:
Awakening → Form → First Evolution & Core → Further Evolutions & Aspect Abilities → Fourth Evolution & Resonance → Final Evolution & Authority.
