As the title of this post suggests, this is not a chapter. Instead, it's an announcement that the third book of Path of Dragons (called Shadow of the Hunter) is finally available on Kindle, Audible, and Paperback. Each book includes a recap of previous events, so feel free to just jump right in. Anyway, here's the blurb:
The orcs have been driven back, and Ironshore still stands. But for Elijah Hart, victory rings hollow without his family. Ready to resume his search for them, he’ll trek across monster-infested wilds, to magical rifts that spill nightmares into the world, and through the ruins of a shattered Earth. Each battle sharpens his power, drawing the attention of Thor Gunderson—the most dangerous hunter alive—who has marked Elijah as his prey.
Meanwhile, far away on the outskirts of former Seattle, Elijah’s sister-in-law, Carmen Rodriguez, leads a handful of survivors through a land set on devouring the weak. Marauders stalk the roads. Mammoth beasts lurk in the wilderness. And monsters out of legend skulk in the shadows. With her son’s future hanging by a thread, she’ll need to become more than a simple Blacksmith and forge herself into a leader.
The world is broken. Humanity is desperate for a hero to guide them out of the dark. But forces older than mankind have risen again, waiting for a chance to strike . . .
