The next day after playing with Kuro and Ein-san, I planned on visiting Megiddo-san and Magnawell-san.

With my Teleportation Gate inside my room, I’m easily able to reach any place in Trinia including areas protected by Teleportation Inhibitions.

My first stop was the Southern Region ruled by Magnawell-san. That region is characterized by towering rocky mountains, vast wilderness, and numerous hidden zones shrouded in deep shadows. It’s the home of countless dragons.

Well, that shouldn’t really be a surprise since their ruler is the Dragon King.

As for the home of Magnawell-san, it’s the Dragon’s Mountain Range.

Magnawell-san's massive form came into view on the horizon, a colossal dragon standing 6,230 meters tall and stretching 30,000 meters wide. I should take a picture and show this to the group…but on second thought, their reactions would be far more interesting when seeing him in person.

"Oya, so you’ve arrived, Miyama Kaito." (Magnawell)

Magnawell-san’s voice boomed into my ear and the air trembled. It seems he’s using his main body to speak to me.

"It’s good to see you again, Magnawell-san." (Kaito)

That massive body approached me, its legs towering above the clouds.

Magnawell-san came to a halt in front of me, and I could barely discern a figure leaping down from his head. As it landed before me, I realized it was his clone body, Code Dragneel. In that form, he appeared as a tall, elderly man with a white beard, dressed in a light gray coat-like outer garment over a suit-like shirt, complemented by a hat matching the color of his coat.

"I know exactly what you’ve come here for." (Magnawell)

With a wave of his hand, a 1000 meter long Triceratops appeared behind him.

"You’ve seen my Golem, Geogaiarum, before. I have to say, I would've been quite taken with this new concept of splitting a part of my spirit away to possess a doll if not for this much superior vessel I already have." (Magnawell)

"I’m not surprised. You’ve become well-adjusted to that form as an old man." (Kaito)

"Indeed. It’s a pity my Code Dragneel couldn’t accompany you since it follows a different principle. I’m not saying I’m uncomfortable with using this Golem. It’s rather easy to move around considering I am quadruped to begin with." (Magnawell)

He finished in a dignified voice. There was always a majestic and gentlemanly air surrounding Magnawell-san that invoked respect from everyone. Coupled with his gentle and wise personality, he is in this respect the most kingly of the Six Kings.

It’s such an irony knowing he’s actually the youngest of the Six Kings however.

"Putting that aside, I’m curious as to what you’re getting up to if you need my power. Hopefully nothing as reckless as what you did a few days ago?" (Magnawell)

"Um, nothing too serious…I hope." (Kaito)

Suddenly, Magnawell-san shifted the conversation and looked at me sternly and full of concern. Good grief, the pressure made me sweat. Not the first time he’s taken a role similar to a doting and overprotective grandfather towards me.

"And wouldn’t you know it, my prediction was spot on." (???)

A spiral of flames erupted next to my side and from it emerged Megiddo-san. As soon as she arrived, she casually draped her arm around my shoulder.

"So, what comes after you’ve acquired our Golems?" (Megiddo)

"Most likely a trip to another unknown world…" (Kaito)

I truthfully answered. Not telling them anything would cause more trouble and I’m not the secretive type to begin with. Megiddo-san patted my back, a satisfied smile spreading across her face.

"Oh relax, I’m not going to get mad at you for going out of your way to help a bunch of strangers, I told you as much. It makes me happy instead that I’d get to keep a close eye on you." (Megiddo)

"Umu. It’s quite a refreshing dynamic, if I do say so myself. Normally, it’s Shalltear, Isis, or Kuromueina taking charge as your guardians." (Magnawell)

"Damn straight." (Megiddo)

Magnawell-san’s words made sense. Whenever someone harbored ill intentions or caused trouble for me, it was always those three who dealt with them swiftly and without mercy.

Not to mention they have dozens of wards watching me constantly…

"Tough luck for them! I’m barging in and staying by your side!" (Megiddo)

"But don’t forget, the other Six Kings won’t be left out. I can already picture them stealing the spotlight regardless." (Magnawell)

Magnawell-san idly pointed out the flaw in Megiddo-san’s plan. Not that it dampened Megiddo-san’s enthusiasm, she just laughed it off.

"Oh! I do love competition! Let’s find out who’s the best bodyguard for Kaito!" (Megiddo)

She exclaimed in a wide grin. I expected no less from her battle junkie personality.

"It has been some time since we Kings compared our battle prowess to each other. I do fancy my chances of coming out on top. My Golem is very suited to being a mobile fortress." (Magnawell)

"That ain’t worth anything. You gotta have an invincible body and throw hands worth your weight." (Megiddo)

"Need I remind you our Golems are very similar in both roles and performance?" (Magnawell)

Megiddo-san waved off his deadpan remark.

"Speaking of throwing hands, how’d you do, Kaito? I heard you got caught in a few scuffles in that other world." (Megiddo)

"Your guidance really paid off. I had everyone on the ropes and left without a single scratch on me." (Kaito)

I answered proudly to the curious and grinning Megiddo-san. All those grueling hours enduring her harsh training had been worth every agonizing second. It’s unlike me, but getting up close and throwing punches felt satisfying.

"That’s a nice expression on your face. Looks like we can kick your training up a notch the next time you come around my place." (Megiddo)

"Eh?" (Kaito)

I stammered, feeling my blood freeze as my face went stiff. I have to relive hell again!? And don’t laugh at my expense, Megiddo-san!

"Like I’d let you off the hook! You’ve only taken a tiny step into the vast world of martial arts. There’s so many untouched realms to tread on, wielding any weapon regardless of its weight, or even shattering space-time through pure skill. Doesn’t that get your blood pumping!?" (Megiddo)

"Settle down, Megiddo. Can’t you see you’re scaring him?" (Magnawell)

Just as Megiddo-san was getting more boisterous, Magnawell-san chided her. Thank you for the save!

"Don’t get in the way, Magnawell. You don’t know him like I do. He thrives on taking on impossible challenges! This is a rare chance for him to push his limits and gain the incredible power he’s always dreamed of. Even Kuromueina already gave her approval." (Megiddo)

"Hmm…It is good for him to be more active in his youth. And if you claim to know him so well, I suppose I can entrust him to you, just a little. But don’t go overboard, you hear?" (Magnawell)

Magnawell-san!? How could you just hand me over to the devil next to me after giving it such careful thought!?

"Alright!" (Megiddo)

She cheered, pumping her fist with excitement.

I took a deep breath, and decided to turn the conversation back to keep my thoughts away from having to do another training session with Megiddo-san.

"Say, where is your Golem, Megiddo-san?" (Kaito)

"That thing? Here." (Megiddo)

A red, quadrupedal Magical Beast-shaped Golem appeared. That’s the Blazing Beast: Volcanic Beast.

"Feel free to keep it." (Megiddo)

"Thanks." (Kaito)

I tucked Volcanic Beast away inside my Magic Box with a nod of gratitude. As I stored the Golem, Magnawell-san seemed to remember something.

"Ah, I nearly forgot, I should give you your allowance for visiting me. I’ll hand over some of my fangs." (Magnawell)

"I already have more than enough of those. I don’t even know what to do with the ones sitting in my Magic Box…" (Kaito)

"That’s simple." (Magnawell)

Magnawell-san asserted confidently.

From his main body, a pair of his fangs loosened and fell, their descent rapidly accelerating. They ignited with bright orange light from the friction of the air before slamming into the earth with a thunderous crash, leaving behind massive craters.

"You can use them as meteorites if you wish." (Magnawell)

He cooly smiled as though casually reshaping the landscape was nothing. I have a feeling Lillywood-san will come to complain about this later.

"My business here is done. You better visit me again, Kaito. Ozma’s thinking of helping out, saying some nonsense like I’d be too hard on you. He thinks so little of his own King!" (Megiddo)

Megiddo-san grumbled under her breath and vanished in a mist of flames.

Ozma-san helping with my training? That’s a huge relief. With his gentle and composed demeanor, his methods surely won’t be as grueling, or traumatic, as Megiddo-san’s.

"Would you like me to gift you more monsters?" (Magnawell)

"More monsters? No, I’m good with having Bell and Lynn as the few monsters I already have." (Kaito)

I’m grateful for the sudden offer, but I’m satisfied with the two I already have. Magnawell-san nodded in understanding.

"Umu. I only asked because I heard from Kuromueina that there’s a chance you could bring monsters along with you on your next journey to another world." (Magnawell)

Seriously!? They’re going all out to make sure my safety is absolutely guaranteed.
