His natural feminine appearance has got him easily mixed in with a note saying “I am a man” that made both men and women laugh and give him some pointers with some touches here and there. He got some important information about the currency.
Here the currency is also like the treasure chests but there are only 5 levels of division. They are stone, iron, copper, silver and gold. 1 unit of material he has is equal to 1 Kg of that material. A coin weighs around 2 grams. There is also processing fee.
So, one unit of any material is equal to 400 coins of that material. This is universally fixed price and it cannot change normally. What can change is the conversion between different coins. Usually one higher grade coins is equal to 100 lower grade coins.
But the conversion changes based on the availability of the materials. If the gold reserves are scarce then the value of gold coins increases. If there is a gold mine in the area the value did not decrease but stay at the base value of 1:100 coins ratio.
Still the order of things is still stone coin being the lowest and gold being the highest. As for the magic stones they are very valuable. 1 magic stone of rank 1 is equal to 1 iron coin. 1 iron coin can let an adult man have two full meals a day.
Only low level magic stones are available like this for higher level magic stones they have high demand and the exchange ratio changes from place to place based on the available mines and the level of development along with the level of the settlement.
The most important thing he found is that this place has no mines available and they are highly dependent of wood and stone. All metals are valuable but there is no price deviation for any of them at this moment.
Understanding the things he exchanged 1 unit of iron for 400 iron coins. Then he bought some toiletries. He returned back to the station to wash up smoothly. Fortunately this place was kept clean by magic and there is no strange smell and messy situation.
After he washed up he directly started to go towards the house of widow marlin. He did enquired about this matter and one of the lewd uncles actually told him that marlin is a 40 year old widow with super hot figure and has good relationship with many strong men.
She also sells wine made by her. The cost of 1 bottle is actually 10 iron coins. That is equal to the money that can sustain a man for 10 days perfectly. Naturally it is expensive to others But not to Bobby. He has financial resources required for this and other plans as well. This chapter was taken from g.com without permission.
Also before leaving this place, he plans to convert more of the materials to higher denomination materials like gold and silver. Keeping iron is not much of use and the lower number 1:100 coins conversion will never change.
This means that as long as he has higher denomination of currency he can always make profit. It is just that he has to get the coins. He knows that the circulation currency of a place is usually limited. He has to get into good books of the town lord to get the money.
“With wine in place, I can get his good impression. I will see if I can solve this anger issue that requires spanking me or someone. Honestly, this is embarrassing. As a man getting spanked is really not a proper thing. But it could not be helped. I have to complete the task.” He muttered.
“They said that widow marlin is a hot woman. I have to take a look at her. May be it would sooth my heart and let me get spanked smoothly to complete the task.” He muttered as he walked out of the station.
When he came out he enthusiastically greeted others as if he is from this town as he walked over to a small road side stall to eat breakfast. When he was done he moved towards the house of the widow marlin.
Most men would not go over there in the morning. Also they all had their own work to do, so they will not be present at their houses at this moment. That is the normal trend but today is different.
Today nearly 60 new people appeared in this small town making things lively. When Bobby is walking over he passed by the town hall. It has at least 30 people from his group. But he did not find Jamal or Abe here.
Abe is dressed up slightly differently with a shovel in his hand like he joined the cleaning unit of the shit pits. Bobby did not get close but asked.
“Did you get the work that can give you enough contribution points to enter the fantasy world?”
“Yea… I just joined the cleaning unit. They said that as long as I completed cleaning 10 pits they will directly give me entry permit. There is also a system contract here that checked the things and said that they doubled the price.
After some haggling the number came down to 8 pits. I will be able to complete it in 2 hours before lunch time and get the entry permit. Other than that I can get free meals for the day. It might be dirty but it is better than nothing…” Abe said with a smile that did not have happiness.
Well he was originally a rich second generation heir. Now he is cleaning shit pits for survival. It is really a sad start. Bobby simply nodded his head and then asked Abe.
“Don’t you get a task from the fantasy system?”
“I did get the task but it is very dangerous. It wants me to become a helper to a mad chemist of the town. I enquired and found that many have died. So I gave up that quest and found this job.” Abe said with slight fear.
