He soon found a stick with its tip in ‘Y’ shape to use it to pin the snake the open structure should not be too large. It should be just right to pin the snake. Naturally the snake is not intelligent. It only attacks instinctively.
So when he walked over with the stick the snake just laid low waiting for Bobby to touch the treasure chest before making its move. But before it could react Bobby directly pressed the stick he got on its head making it unable to move.
Before it could struggle Bobby dripped the machete straight at a location below its head. This way the poison in the poison sack would not spill out. The snake was cut in two with a single cut. Well he usually cut flesh and his movement is perfect in cutting the snake in two.
“Susssss……..”
After few moments the snake died.
“Dead snake, system can decompose its body when taken to the boat, caution for reflexive biting.”
“Butcher skill (Rank-1, proficient level, 17/60), Job Hunter (Rank-1, entry level, 2/10)”
He got a note from the proficiency panel that got a skill and a job. Skill is the direct use one while the job class has a bunch of skills combined to form. One needs to learn specific set of skills and they will combine to form a job. One can have many jobs.
But the thing is the proficiency panel from the system would let him learn things quickly and his actions gain experience. Also everything attained is perfectly retained blessing would let him improve faster in any job class and get it easily.
His hunting is successful and his way of hunting is not through archery but through butchering with a machete. So he got the butchering skill that retained his previous experience.
On the other hand he got hunter job and also basic skills like archery, tracking, taming, traps and other related to the job. But they are all basic with glimpse instead of complete understanding.
He got a note from the system related to division of various things.
“The jobs, techniques, materials and items are divided into 10 ranks with rank 1 being the lowest and rank 10 being the highest. Items, artifacts and other things are divided into 4 grades, low, medium, high and perfect grades.
The techniques and other related to learning are further divided into 5 grades that are entry, basic, proficient, expert and mastery. Entry is just learning it with reaching requirements.
Further improvement requires (1:2:3:4) ratio of experience based on the rank of the technique, skill or job. For example rank 3 skill from entry to basic grade requires 1000 experience points. From basic to proficient it requires 3000 ((1+2) x1000) exp points.” The source of this chapter is novelping dot com.
After watching the information he understood it basically. But he also found big problem that is when reaching rank 10 the experience points required is in billions. He stopped thinking about this matter as there is long way to go.
He did not touch the dead snake for the time being and moved his attention to the treasure chest. He suddenly noticed something; a small plant beside the treasure chest is glowing.
“I thought that the treasure chest is glowing but, it looks like the plant is the one that is actually glowing. It should be a magic herb.” He thought. But he did not rush to pluck it. He decided to open the treasure chest first. Immediately another system notification appeared.
“Treasure chests can appear at many places by chance and various reasons. There are 10 kinds of treasure chests they are from low to high, mud, wood, stone, iron, copper, silver, gold, emerald, amethyst and crystal treasure chests.”
The one in front of him is actually a stone treasure chest. It is at third level which is actually high. He looked at it carefully. There are no intrinsic carvings, only a box made out of stone with a lid to open. Everything is made of stone including the hinge and handle.
He did not know if there are any traps inside like those dungeon games. So he used the machete to open the treasure chest. The lid is heavy but soon it was open.

Space bag pack with 10 slots x 1 (First time novice survivor bonus, number of slots based on luck of the survivor.)
Plate of Samosa (4 pieces) x 5
2L mineral water x 5
Skill book x 1
……………………
“Fuck… this is great, I actually got good things. I am lucky…” Bobby almost screamed out loud but controlled him-self.
His luck came from the curse that took lust energy from the squeezing he did on Linda’s melons in front of everyone before and escaped successfully without getting a sing scratch or hit. Unfortunately he did not know about this matter.
“The items occupied more area than the size of the treasure chest. This means there is space magic in the treasure chest. This also means that there is a high chance that even bigger things can appear from the treasure chest that is smaller in size.” He thought and checked the items.
A simply bag pack similar to the novice gift pack appeared first. Beside it are 5 packed boxes that gave off the spicy Masala aroma coming from the Samosa that are still hot, then there are 5 mineral water bottles, each with the capacity of 2 liters. They are filled with ice cold water.
Other than these things there is also a book that is shining with strange color. It says skill book on the top of the book. He did not stand on the ceremony and opened to take a look to see what skill it gives him.
