Chapter 7 Fu Sheng will soon discover certain clues, and his remaining time is limited

As a beta with underdeveloped glands, the doctor naturally stepped forward and said, “Let me give you an injection into the blood vessels. Don’t worry, I won’t snatch your beta. He needs to be sent to the hospital for treatment, and you need to go as well. Fu Sheng, can you understand what I’m saying now?”Full novel: Pheromone Scam — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Fu Sheng stood still for a dozen seconds and nodded at the doctor.

The doctor breathed a sigh of relief, quickly administered the injection, and said, “Let’s go. There’s a car downstairs.”

Fu Sheng walked forward in large strides, carrying He Yuan in his arms like a child. He Yuan was tightly wrapped in a blanket. During the walk, his arm, as white as jade, fell out due to the bumps. It was covered in bite marks, with a mixture of bruises and purples. Although the bite marks hadn’t scabbed over, the bleeding had stopped, giving the appearance of red petals amidst the blue and purple.

Fu Jiaqi accidentally caught a glimpse and immediately shrank his shoulders, feeling a chill. He Yuan was in a terrible state.

It had only been a few hours. Not even ten hours!

For most AO in their first estr*s, it could last for two to four days at most. If He Yuan were to be locked up for four or five days, he would probably run out of breath.

Fu Sheng descended the stairs, barely restraining himself. He nodded politely to the elders to bid farewell but deliberately avoided He Beijia as he left the old mansion. He Beijia’s eyes turned red, but Mother Fu comforted her, saying that Fu Sheng couldn’t control his pheromones, and it would only agitate him to be too close.

He Beijia didn’t respond, and Mother Fu didn’t pay much attention to it.

Fu Sheng carried He Yuan, and the two of them entered the hospital together. He Yuan was immediately taken in to treat his wounds, and the diluted version of Fu Sheng’s pheromones was injected into his glands, neutralising the high concentration of pheromones forcefully injected by Fu Sheng.

It wasn’t only A who could experience pheromonal imbalance; O could as well, and even forcibly marked B could!

It took over an hour to treat He Yuan’s injuries. The attending physician came out and reproached them, saying, “You young people nowadays love to be different and have these AB relationships. Will you start an AA relationship or an OO relationship next? Can’t A go find O consciously and stop causing trouble for B?”

Most doctors and nurses in today’s society were mild-mannered betas, including the doctor who came out. They felt uncomfortable with the pheromones emanating from Fu Sheng, but they were unhappy when they thought about the unconscious B inside.

“The patient has suffered tears in the reproductive tract and glandular damage. These are all external injuries, but we’re unsure if he will have any psychological trauma afterward. Okay, if there’s nothing else, don’t linger here.”

The nurse approached and quietly reminded the doctor of Fu Sheng’s identity. The attending physician stiffened for a moment, but his attitude remained less than pleasant. This chapter is updated first at g.com.

Fu Sheng glanced at him coldly, raking his hand through his hair and not concealing his irritable mood. The pheromones, which had not been fully relieved, continued to surge through his veins, and his current appearance was slightly dishevelled.

His clothes were in disarray, hastily thrown on shirt and pants without a belt. One side of the shirt was tucked into his pants while the other hung loose. The buttons were crooked, and his hair was a mess. Most importantly, his face bore heavy marks from being beaten.

The remaining shreds of sanity compelled Fu Sheng to turn around and follow the doctor’s judgement to be isolated.

With the consent of the military and the Fu family, the doctor injected Fu Sheng with the new suppressants. Before the injection, the doctor provided a brief explanation to Fu Sheng: “This is a suppressant developed by Academician Ji from the Research Institute specifically for the military. It targets alphas and hasn’t been publicly released yet, but it has already been secretly provided to the military. Unless you have any allergies, it should stabilise your condition.”

Just before administering the injection, the doctor suddenly paused and gave a second clarification: “However, this suppressant still has side effects. During the process, you will still crave compatible pheromones and exhibit an abnormal level of aggressiveness. When there is no target for aggression, it is possible that you may self-harm.”

“Mm,” Fu Sheng kept his eyes closed, knowing that the doctor’s implication was that they would use a restraining chair typically used for criminals or psychiatric patients.

Alphas suffering from pheromonal imbalance syndrome are always bound to a restraining chair during their episodes, unable to move at all.

Having received Fu Sheng’s affirmative response, the doctor proceeded to inject the pheromones into him, then restrained and isolated him, locking the door before leaving. There were soldiers stationed outside the door.

The new suppressants hadn’t taken effect yet, and the old suppressants were about to lose their effectiveness. In the bleak and white isolation room, Fu Sheng utilised the last moments of his clarity to retrace what had happened more than a dozen hours ago.

Fang Gaomin was investigated, Fu Jiajing became embroiled in a public opinion storm, and her career suffered, leading to reprimands from her superiors. Her husband’s career also encountered setbacks. She came home crying and overwhelmed, annoying the women in the family, who went to plead with Fu Sheng. Coincidentally, he was attacked, and Fang Gaomin took advantage of the opportunity to administer an inducer to trigger his premature onset of estr*s. And then…

Afterward, his consciousness was in a half-awake, half-submerged state. The elders of the Fu family brought He Beijia to him, but he was rejected, so they called for He Yuan. And then, and then He Yuan… He didn’t want him!! Where was He Yuan?

Fu Sheng abruptly opened his eyes, his face contorted with extreme anger. His restrained limbs began to struggle, and he gnashed his teeth, his appearance full of the desire to tear He Yuan apart. How could He Yuan not want him? Where was He Yuan?

The sound of a loud bang echoed through the isolation room. The soldiers stationed outside the room reacted swiftly, confirming that Fu Sheng was not in immediate danger before relaxing slightly. However, they remained on high alert, their gaze fixed intensely on the door of the isolation room. This chapter was copied from g.com without permission.

On one side of the door stood humans, while inside was a raging, frenzied beast, angrily and anxiously calling out a name.

Taking a deep breath, He Yuan suddenly escaped from the oppressive darkness and finally opened his eyes, realising that he was in a hospital. The nurse called for a doctor upon seeing him awake and gave a brief explanation of the situation before leaving after ensuring he was unharmed.

He Yuan was left alone in the hospital room. It turned out that he had been unconscious for two days. Recalling the experience of being forcefully violated by a crazed alpha who opened his reproductive cavity, he couldn’t help but shudder. Slowly, he propped himself up on the bed, lying on his side and gazing into the empty space with vacant eyes.

He had been lying there for two days, and Fu Sheng had been locked away for two days as well.

Two days were enough for the police to gather evidence against Fang Gaomin and the others and convict them. Without Fu Sheng, Mr. Fu would act wisely and protect himself, refusing to get involved in any trouble. Fu Jiajing couldn’t find anyone to help her. Without the Fu family, the Fang and He families alone wouldn’t be enough to shake the decision of the central figure in the upcoming power struggle.

That person intended to kill the influential figure in the military compound to gain attention for themselves, and the Fang and He families were the most suitable candidates. However, things were bound to be far from smooth. Most importantly…

Fang Ji hadn’t returned yet.

Lost in his thoughts, He Yuan realised that Fu Sheng would soon discover certain clues, and his remaining time was limited.

The author has something to say:

I apologise for the slight torment inflicted upon He Yuan, but this is my XP. Please don’t scold me!

The theme of forcible confinement and imprisonment is part of my XP. If you can’t accept it, please consider carefully before reading. Your enjoyment should be the priority.

PS: No need to DM me about the previous chapter. Just go find it. (I actually received a DM saying “Go, Pikachu!”)

PPS: I still haven’t written the plot I wanted to write. If I had taken one more day off, I would have been able to write it.
