“You Bufan, I’m about to give birth.

You promised you would let me go once I was pregnant with a cub.”

A metal bed stood in the center of the basement.

A barely-clothed young woman lay upon it.

The young woman’s slender limbs were bound by iron chains, her stomach greatly swollen.

Her body was covered in bruises, and sweat drenched her long, silver-white hair.

The young woman watched in terror as the tall man approached, pleading with him once more.

“I’ll be obedient from now on.

I’ll never act against Wendy again.”

“Shut your mouth!

You’re not worthy of saying her name!”

The man walked to the side of the bed and leaned over, his long, slender fingers gripping the young woman’s pointed chin.

“Wen Ran, you’re too naive.

You can’t trust the words a male says in bed.”

The young woman, Wen Ran, stared in horror at the man’s golden, slitted pupils as they grew cold.

“You lied to me.” A single tear fell from her eye.

You Bufan sank his teeth into the soft flesh of Wen Ran’s neck, his voice bone-chilling.

“That’s right.

I never intended to let you leave.

Even if you die, you will die by my side!”

Despair washed over her heart like a tidal wave, and a look of resolve flashed in Wen Ran’s eyes.

“She’s trying to kill herself!” The sound of rushing footsteps approached, and Wen Ran saw a grim-faced man.

But he was too late.

The blade, as thin as a cicada’s wing and hidden between her fingers, had already sliced across the young woman’s delicate neck.

Only after her desperate suicide did Wen Ran learn that her world was merely a beast world novel.

The novel was titled *All the Beast Emperors Love Me*.

It was set in an interstellar beast world where, due to a galactic collapse, the male-to-female ratio had become severely imbalanced, reaching 700 to 1.

She, Wen Ran Mite, was the eldest young lady of the Starfall White Lion Family.

Though born to a noble family, she only possessed pheromones and no spiritual power, dooming her to the fate of a cannon fodder side character.

And the “true” young lady was her twin sister, the ever-frail and helpless Wendy Mite.

Her White Lion parents only raised her to extract pheromones from her blood, making her the White Lion Family’s ‘blood bank’.

In the novel, to promote the theme that a kind soul is more important than a beautiful face…

…she was written as a stunningly beautiful female with an empty head.

The protagonist, Wendy, on the other hand, was a pure, kind, and universally adored female who merely had to exist for others to solve all her problems for her.

In the novel, as the villainess, she was jealous of how her own fiancés—all male supporting characters—doted on the heroine.

She constantly acted out, which led to her being imprisoned, tortured, and eventually killed by one of them.

Fortunately, however, she had been reborn and had awakened her self-awareness.

She refused to accept it.

They were both females, so why was she the one destined to be cannon fodder?

She hadn’t even done anything truly unforgivable.

Why did she have to suffer a tragic death just to serve as a foil for the heroine’s happy life?

This time, she was going to change her fate, rewrite the story, and script a happy ending for herself.

And the first step to changing her fate was to find a powerful backer.

That way, after her identity as the “fake” young lady was exposed and she was driven from her home, she would still have someone to rely on.

She wouldn’t end up in the hands of scum like You Bufan to be tortured again.

Her primary target was the future heir of the Mite family, Junior General Ize Mite.

In the novel, he was just another male cannon fodder character who never once showed the “true” young lady any kindness.

He was also Wen Ran’s “fake” older brother, to whom she had no blood relation.

At night, Wen Ran pressed herself against the door.

Moments later, she heard steady footsteps—her “fake” brother, Ize, was back.

She cracked open the door and saw a man in a black and gold Junior General’s uniform walk by.

He exuded a potent male scent that made Wen Ran blush in spite of herself.

Ize Mite was ranked among the top ten most desirable mates in the Starfall Empire.

For some reason, however, neither in her past life nor in the novel had Ize ever paired with a female.

Right now, however, Wen Ran couldn’t worry about that.

She flicked her waterfall of long, silver-white hair, tugged the lace neckline of her nightgown a bit lower, and practiced a pure, innocent smile in the mirror.

Barefoot, she pushed open the half-closed door.

The room was dim, without any light.

A single shaft of moonlight streamed through the window, illuminating a tall figure standing beside the wide bed.

“Put it on the table.” Ize thought it was the servant delivering the pheromones, so he didn’t turn back.

He took off his uniform jacket and methodically began to loosen his tie.

The black-and-gold striped tie, part of his uniform, was tossed carelessly onto the floor.

It was stained with a red lipstick print.

“Hm?

Why aren’t you leaving?”

The next moment, a pair of warm arms wrapped around his muscular waist, and delicate, pale fingers slowly brushed against the buttons of his shirt.

“Get out.” The man’s arm muscles tightened, and he seized Wen Ran’s delicate wrist.

His grip was so strong it instantly drained the color from Wen Ran’s face.

“Brother Ize, it’s me.”

A dark light flashed in Ize’s deep blue eyes.

He turned and looked down at the young woman.

His gaze followed the moonlight as it fell upon her bright, lovely face, then casually swept over her soft, pink lips.

He slowly loosened his grip, hiding the unreadable emotion in the depths of his eyes.

“What is it?”

Enveloped by the man’s powerful presence, a watery mist involuntarily clouded Wen Ran’s eyes.

Her legs felt weak, and she struggled to stay upright.

Ize caught her by her slender waist, his sharp brows furrowing slightly.

“Your heat?”

Wen Ran bit her lip, her pale, delicate hand clutching the man’s shirt.

“N-No.”

‘Damn it!

In her past life, You Bufan injected her with some synthetic drug.

She never thought she’d bring the modified constitution back with her after being reborn!!!’

‘Ahhh, I could just die from embarrassment.’

Wen Ran had no time to die of social embarrassment.

A burning heat coursed through her, making her want to press herself against the man before her.

Ize lowered his eyes.

After a long moment, he sighed, bent over, and swept her up into his arms before walking to the adjacent room.

On the soft, comfortable bed, Wen Ran watched the man sitting beside her, her alluring, almond-shaped eyes glistening.

The male’s long, slender hand firmly pinned her thrashing hands while his other hand retrieved a syringe filled with a pink liquid from the bedside safe.

“Don’t move.

I’m giving you a calming agent.”

As her gaze fell on the glinting silver needle, Wen Ran began to struggle violently.

She broke free and threw her arms around his, her voice trembling as she pleaded, “No, please no needles.”

“I’ll be good, I promise.”

Ize gazed at the young woman’s flushed cheeks, a flash of anger crossing his mind.

“Wh—” Before he could get the word out, he felt soft lips press against his cheek.

Then, warm lips began peppering kisses all over his face, finally settling on his own cool, thin lips.

The young woman’s lips parted slightly, her tongue flicking out in a clear invitation.

Ize’s face darkened, and killing intent flashed in his eyes.

“Ngh—” The cold needle pierced the gland at the back of Wen Ran’s graceful neck as the pink liquid was slowly injected.

Wen Ran’s tense body went limp.

A single, clear tear slid down her cheek and landed on the back of Ize’s vein-popped hand.

After thoughtfully tucking the young woman in, Ize activated the Smart Brain on his wrist, his expression cold.

“Investigate everything that has happened around the Young Miss recently!”
