“Really?

Can they?” Circe was so excited she almost jumped.

“These two are super picky eaters; they’ll only take two bites of the high-end pokéblocks from the store!”Full novel: Pokemon: I Became a Farmer with the Voice of All Things — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Lucy took a sealed box from the cabinet.

Inside were a dozen emerald green pokéblocks that smelled of faint herbs.

This was a generic batch she had made while optimizing the recipes, specifically prepared for Grass-type Pokémon in regular training.

She took out two and handed them to Grovyle and Breloom, respectively.

Grovyle took it coolly, sniffed it carefully first, and a flash of surprise crossed its sharp eyes before it slowly put it in its mouth to chew.

A few seconds later, its eyes widened slightly, and the tip of its tail flicked rapidly as it looked at Lucy: “Gro-vyle.” (The energy is very stable, the texture is smooth, and the herbal essence content is high.

Excellent.)

It wasn’t an easy feat to get the picky Grovyle to call something “excellent.”

Breloom was much more direct; it took the pokéblock and shoved it into its mouth.

After chewing a few times, a look of obvious happiness appeared on its usually serious face, and it raised its fist to gently bump it: “Bre-loom!” (My stamina is recovering so fast, and the taste is super great!

It’s much better than the ones at the Gym!)

“Is it really that good?” Circe asked, watching her Pokémon looking so satisfied.

“Can I try some?

Like, the scraps that humans can eat?”

Lucy smiled and handed her a small piece: “The ingredients are all edible, so don’t worry, just eat it.

It’s just a small amount.”

Circe carefully put it in her mouth and instantly squinted her eyes: “Mmm!

So delicious!

It’s not that cloying sweetness; it’s a fresh, refreshing fragrance with a lingering aftertaste!

“It’s not an illusion,” Lucy explained.

“The recipe includes berries and herbs that can soothe fatigue.

It replenishes energy for Pokémon, and it has benefits for humans in small amounts as well.”

“That’s amazing, Lucy!” Circe slapped her thigh.

“It would be a waste not to open a workshop with your skills!

My grandfather will definitely love this!

If the Gym’s Pokémon could eat this every day, their training results would definitely improve by a huge margin!”

She looked at the remaining pokéblocks in the box, then suddenly pressed her hands together and blinked at Lucy: “Um…

Lucy, can you sell me some of these experimental ones?

Or I can trade you with berries!

I want to take them back for my grandfather and the Gym’s Pokémon to try!”

Lucy was amused by her: “What are you talking about, selling?

They’re experimental batches anyway.

I should be thanking you for letting Grovyle and Breloom help me test them and provide feedback.”

She turned around and took out several clean small containers, filling them as she spoke: “I’ll pack three boxes for you to take back for everyone to try.

If Gym Leader Qing Zhen and the Pokémon like them, I’ll adjust the recipe based on the feedback and can make them for you regularly in the future.”

“That’s great!” Circe cheered and hurried to help pack the boxes, muttering to herself, “My grandfather’s Tangrowth has been listless lately; eating this will definitely help…

And that new Seedot is super picky; maybe it will like this flavor…”

After packing the boxes, Circe finally remembered the main point and slapped her forehead: “Right! You are reading on g.com, the official source.

The berry business!”

“The second batch of nanab berries can be harvested next week, and a batch of Oran Berries and Pecha Berries can be harvested this weekend.” Lucy flipped through her notebook.

“The quantity is higher than the first batch, and the quality will definitely be fine.”

“No problem!

I’ll have my grandfather prepare the payment as soon as I get back!” Circe patted her chest in assurance, then leaned closer to Lucy and lowered her voice mysteriously.

“By the way, I heard some news!

Jonathan seems to have discovered a rare moss at the cooperative research station on Route 117, which is said to be helpful for your healing berry project!

Didn’t he tell you?”

Lucy froze for a moment and shook her head: “He only asked me to provide regular feedback on the test field data; he didn’t mention anything about rare moss.”

“I don’t know the details either; I just happened to hear him mention it while chatting with my grandfather.” Circe scratched her head.

“Maybe he’ll contact you in a while; after all, you’re an important partner of his now!”

The two chatted for a while longer; Circe shared funny stories from the Gym, and Lucy shared little daily routines of the Pokémon on the farm.

Circe had been wanting to interact with Turtwig, so she had Grovyle perform a restrained version of the Leaf Blade technique, precisely cutting off a whole leaf to give to Turtwig.

Turtwig’s eyes went wide as it watched, muttering “Naitonaito” incessantly, and it even boldly reached out a claw to touch the leaf.

The sun gradually rose higher, and Circe finally bid farewell reluctantly, clutching the three boxes of pokéblocks and happily heading back to town.

After seeing Circe off, the farm returned to its quiet busyness.

However, Lucy kept the “rare moss” matter in mind.

Her special ability was very sensitive to plant materials, and if it really could help with the project, she would be very happy to participate in the research.

In the afternoon, Lucy devoted her energy to organizing her recipe files.

With the positive feedback from Grovyle and Breloom, she felt more confident in her recipes.

She carefully recorded the ingredients, ratios, suitable Pokémon, and feedback effects for each recipe, thinking that perhaps in the future, pokéblocks could become a signature product of Forest Dew Farm.
