The moment Aaron finished speaking, the entire arena fell into silence.

Not a single sound.

Then, in the blink of an eye, a wave of furious howls erupted like a storm.Full novel: Pokémon: I Am Ash’s Older Brother, The Genius Professor — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Sleeping in the same room as my goddess—kill him!”

“Brandon, don’t hold back!

If you’re a man, take him down!”

“My goddess actually slept in the same room as another man?!

Oh no!”

“Wait… isn’t he only ten?

Isn’t this a bit too extreme?”

“Shut up!

Ten years old is still a man!

I don’t even get that kind of treatment!

I can’t even imagine it—how could he get that close?

Kill him!”

“Exactly!

He’ll grow up anyway—kill him!”

…

The entire stadium erupted.

Countless male students had bloodshot eyes, murderous intent practically filling the air.

Lorelei—former Indigo Plateau Champion and the most beautiful campus idol of the academy for ten years—was the undisputed goddess in the hearts of all students.

And now… she had supposedly slept in the same room as a man?

And not even them?!

Flowers planted in cow dung!

Scum!

Kill him!

Lorelei, sitting in the audience, also blushed slightly after hearing this, inwardly cursing that little bastard Aaron.

Professor Uzuki also looked awkward and turned to Lorelei.

“What exactly is going on?

Lorelei, don’t tell me you actually like Aaron?”

“What nonsense are you talking about?

He’s only ten years old!

He’s just a kid,” Lorelei said, embarrassed and annoyed.

“Ten years old is already considered an adult,” Professor Uzuki replied.

Lorelei turned even redder and said nothing, secretly thinking that after this match, she would definitely twist Aaron’s ears off.

“Die!”

The crowd was in an uproar, but Brandon’s rage alone matched everyone else combined.

His face flushed red as he shouted, “Charizard, use Dragon Rage!”

Charizard obeyed, unleashing a powerful spiraling flame toward Ninetales.

Aaron almost laughed out loud when he saw that Brandon actually used Dragon Rage. Enjoying the story? Read on at g.com.

Even heaven was helping him.

Although Dragon Rage was different in reality compared to the games—it was a genuine Dragon-type move with different manifestations, such as flame columns from Charizard or water-dragon vortices from Gyarados—it was still classified as a Dragon-type technique.

“Ninetales, Quick Attack straight through it.

Charge forward.”

Ninetales nodded and turned into a white blur, rushing straight through the incoming energy beam.

“You’re asking for death!” Brandon sneered, thinking Aaron was being reckless.

But before he could finish laughing, he saw Charizard get violently knocked away, his expression freezing instantly.

“Target its wings—use Ice Beam,” Aaron commanded without hesitation.

Ninetales cried out and fired a pale beam of light, freezing Charizard’s wings in a layer of frost.

“Lorelei, it seems your academy’s best student isn’t that impressive.

His wings are already frozen at the start—his aerial advantage is gone.

This match is becoming interesting,” Lorelei said casually from the stands.

“How did Ninetales withstand Dragon Rage without any damage?” Professor Uzuki asked in confusion.

“If not for that, Brandon wouldn’t have fallen into such a disadvantage so quickly.”

“That’s a very meaningful question, but I won’t answer it.

Let’s just keep watching,” Lorelei replied leisurely.

Professor Uzuki glared at her helplessly but had no choice but to continue watching.

“Ninetales, Quick Attack to close in, then Iron Tail,” Aaron ordered.

Ninetales again turned into a white streak and slammed all nine tails into Charizard’s left leg.

The combined force caused Charizard to cry out in pain and crash heavily to the ground.

Brandon only now reacted.

“Charizard!”

“Roar!”

Charizard responded weakly, forcing itself back up to its feet.

But with its wings frozen and one leg injured, it was clearly struggling just to stand.

“Charizard, use Flamethrower!

Finish it!” Brandon shouted.

After the earlier lesson, he no longer dared to use Dragon-type moves and instead relied on Fire-type attacks against Ice.

“Ninetales, Protect.”

A pale golden barrier instantly formed around Ninetales, completely blocking the flames.

“Magic Shine—target its left leg again.”

A brilliant beam of light shot out, striking Charizard’s injured leg once more.

“Charizard, dodge it!” Brandon shouted.

Charizard tried to move, but its injured leg slowed it down too much.

The attack landed perfectly, and it collapsed again with a heavy crash, dust rising into the air.

“Lorelei, just give me the Pokémon Egg already,” Lorelei said from below.

“The match isn’t over yet,” Professor Uzuki replied.

“But the result is already decided.

Its wings are frozen, so it can’t fly.

Meanwhile, Aaron’s Ninetales specializes in speed.

As long as it avoids being hit, type advantage is meaningless,” Lorelei said calmly.

“Then the result should come soon enough.

Just wait a bit longer,” Professor Uzuki replied.

“No.

Don’t underestimate Aaron just because he’s young.

He’s more mature than I am most of the time.

He knows when to press forward and when to stabilize.

Right now, an aggressive push might win quickly, but Ninetales’ defense isn’t great.

If it gets hit by Fire Spin, the situation could flip.

So instead, he’ll drag the fight out, wear down Charizard’s stamina, then use Mist to obscure vision, boost its stats with Calm Mind, and finish it off.

But that would take time, so I’ll go back and take a beauty nap first,” Lorelei said confidently as she stood up.

Professor Uzuki frowned—and looked back at the battlefield.

Just as she predicted, after gaining the upper hand, Aaron did not immediately press the attack.

Instead, he released Mist and began kiting Charizard around the field, circling it like a predator.

If Charizard’s wings hadn’t been frozen, it could have simply taken to the sky.

But now, it didn’t even dare to move recklessly.

Under the thick fog, the audience watched in confusion for nearly twenty minutes.

Finally—

Charizard collapsed.

Ninetales still stood on the field, tail swaying proudly.

Though clearly exhausted, it remained standing.

“Return, Ninetales,” Aaron said, recalling it.

“Good job.”

“What exactly did you do?

How could Ninetales take a Dragon Rage and come out completely unharmed?” Brandon demanded unwillingly.

“Sorry, that’s classified academic information.

If you want to know, buy my first doctoral thesis in five days,” Aaron said with a smile.

Then he turned to leave.

“Wait!” Brandon shouted.

“What exactly is your relationship with Senior Lorelei?!”

“Why should I tell you?” Aaron shrugged and walked off the stage.

Would he tell him that he had actually lost a bet to Lorelei and ended up taking care of her Pokémon—and then accidentally fell asleep from exhaustion?

A story full of hardship and tears.

Back then… why did I ever agree to play cards with Lorelei?

That woman was definitely cheating with Slowbro’s psychic power.

If Ralts weren’t so rare, I’d have caught one myself just to see whose psychic power is stronger.
