Alola Region, Melemele Island Beach

The beach was packed with vacationers and Pokémon enjoying the sunny weather.

Farther out at sea, Trainers rode their Pokémon through friendly surfing competitions.

Along the shore, people laughed and played alongside their partners, enjoying the perfect tropical afternoon.

Lying comfortably on a beach chair, Asher Winter adjusted his sunglasses and took a sip of fresh coconut juice while basking in the warm sunlight and ocean breeze.

Asher wasn’t originally from the Pokémon world.

He had been an ordinary person on Earth.

One afternoon, he fell asleep at home during a nap, only to wake up in a completely different world.

Soon after arriving, he was bound to a system called the Infinite Reincarnation System.

Its purpose was simple.

Complete missions, receive rewards, and move on to the next cycle.

Fail, and everything started over.

At first, Asher had no intention of grinding through endless missions.

The Pokémon world was practically a utopia compared to where he came from.

He figured he’d just take life as it came.

Then the rewards started getting better.

And better.

And even better.

Before long, Asher found himself eagerly completing every mission the system threw at him.

As expected…

Nobody could resist the power of “free rewards.”

Of course, not all the missions were normal.

Some were reasonable.

Like becoming a World Champion.

Others…

Not so much.

Teach Groudon how to Fly.

Enter a Pokémon Contest under the alias “Kricketune Hero.”

Convince a Legendary Pokémon to become a mascot for a local festival.

The list went on.

Even now, thinking about some of those missions made Asher question the system’s sanity.

Fortunately, all of that was finally behind him.

He had completed every cycle and every mission.

After countless adventures, he had accumulated an unbelievable amount of power, resources, and experience.

The system itself had gone dormant.

At long last, he could begin enjoying the peaceful life he had earned.

Just then, two tall women in swimsuits walked past his chair while chatting and laughing.

Asher subtly lowered his sunglasses for a better look.

Then he took another sip of coconut juice.

“Ahem…

what nice legs…”

He paused.

“I mean…

wow, this coconut juice is really white.”

Just as Asher was preparing to continue appreciating the scenery, a mechanical notification suddenly echoed inside his mind.

[Ding!]

[Parallel World Exposure Broadcast System Activated!]

The straw slipped from Asher’s mouth.

His attention instantly snapped away from the beach.

“What the hell?”

“Another system?!”

“Can’t a retired man enjoy his vacation in peace?”

A sense of absurdity washed over him.

It felt like he had just retired from a lifelong career only to be dragged back to work on the same day.

However, what happened next surprised him even more.

The lively beach suddenly fell silent.

Everyone froze.

Every Trainer.

Every tourist.

Every Pokémon.

Asher frowned.

Clearly, he wasn’t the only one who had heard the announcement.

A moment later, a translucent screen appeared before his eyes.

[This broadcast will showcase notable figures from parallel worlds and their journeys through life.]

[During the broadcast, viewers will be asked questions.]

[Audience Entry in Progress…]

[Current Seating Categories: Standard Seats and Premium Seats.]

Soon, a chat window appeared on the right side of the screen.

Premium Seat Chat Group

Iris: Hello?

Is anyone there?

Can everyone actually chat through this thing?

Misty: What is this?

How did my thoughts turn into text?

Professor Oak: It appears to be real-time communication.

Connecting people across multiple regions simultaneously…

whose technology could possibly achieve this?

Clemont: Incredible!

I’ve never seen anything like it!

I need to start researching this immediately!

Gary Oak: @Professor Oak, Grandpa, I already checked.

This thing can’t be forcibly shut down.

Also, there seem to be far more people in the Standard Seats.

They’re already chatting nonstop.

Lance: This doesn’t look like technology humanity is capable of creating.

Lorelei: If it isn’t human technology, then what is it?

A Pokémon?

Leon: Hard to say.

But anyone placed in the Premium Seats probably isn’t ordinary.

Jessie: What?!

James, Meowth, did you hear that?

This place is filled with important people!

The perfect stage for Team Rocket!

James: Prepare for trouble!

Meowth: You two idiots, keep it down until we know what’s going on!

Ash: Team Rocket?!

You’re here too?!

Gary Oak: Ash?

You’re in the Premium Seats?

Ash: What’s that supposed to mean?!

Of course I belong here!

One day I’ll become the world’s greatest Pokémon Master!

Brock: It doesn’t seem to be based purely on strength.

Even Meowth is here.

Steven Stone: Since everyone is gathered here, if any of you happen to possess rare stones or minerals, please contact me first.

The Devon Corporation would be happy to discuss details.

Wallace: Steven, you’re one of Hoenn’s most famous Trainers.

Could you at least pretend to care about your image?

Steven Stone: My image?

Steven Stone: Is that important?

Wallace: Your dignity, Steven.

Do you have any left?

Steven Stone: I have rocks.

Wallace: …

Celestic Town Historical Research Institute

Watching the lively discussion unfold, Cynthia remained unusually serious.

The ability to forcibly connect countless people while being completely immune to interference or destruction…

She couldn’t imagine what kind of existence possessed such power.

Team Galactic?

After taking a bite of her ice cream, she quickly dismissed the thought.

Impossible.

If Team Galactic possessed technology on this level, they would have conquered the world long ago.

Then what was responsible?

A Pokémon?

She mentally reviewed every myth, legend, and historical document she had ever studied.

None of them provided an answer.

Pallet Town, Professor Oak’s Laboratory

After sending his message, Professor Oak also fell silent.

Even he couldn’t comprehend the principles behind the mysterious screen.

After assigning several researchers to investigate, he stared thoughtfully at the display.

“If it isn’t humanity…”

“Then perhaps it’s some undiscovered Pokémon.”

“Or…”

“Someone from another world.”

Bubble…

Bubble…

Bubble…

A strange sound interrupted his train of thought.

Professor Oak blinked.

Wait.

Wasn’t I doing something?

He slowly turned around.

The cup of instant noodles he’d been cooking had completely overboiled into an unrecognizable mess.

Professor Oak cried out in despair.

“My noodles!”

“They’re ruined again!”

Team Rocket Headquarters

Giovanni calmly watched the floating screen while gently swirling a glass of red wine.

“Boss, how should we handle this?”

Apollo asked, frowning.

The phenomenon was completely outside Team Rocket’s control.

Whether it would become a threat or an opportunity remained unknown.

“No rush.”

Giovanni set down his glass.

“Right now, the Pokémon League should be the one worrying.”

“Keep our people under control.”

“And make sure none of our secrets are exposed.”

“Understood.”

Apollo nodded and left the office.

Professor Oak’s Laboratory Backyard

Ash angrily closed a private chat window.

“That jerk Gary.”

“I’ll definitely beat him the next time we battle.”

Beside him, Pikachu happily licked ketchup from a bottle.

Since Ash’s attention was occupied by the mysterious broadcast, Pikachu had immediately taken the opportunity to raid his backpack and retrieve his favorite snack.

“Alright!”

Ash clenched his fist.

“We need to keep training, Pikachu!

We’re heading to the Unova Region soon, and we’ll need to work even harder!”

“Pika!”

Back on Melemele Island

Meanwhile, Asher remained completely relaxed.

The Premium Seat chat was still exploding with activity as Trainers from around the world exchanged theories and arguments.

Asher simply cracked open another sunflower seed and watched the chaos unfold.

After all…

This mysterious broadcast clearly wasn’t targeting him.

Whatever happened next was none of his business.

At least, that’s what he thought.
