Caren looked at the boy expectantly as he stared at the sky with a satisfied look on his face.

What could it be that seemed so exciting to this boy?

The boy opened his mouth to say something.Full novel: Prince of Matter — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Let’s kill every Upside Downer.”

Caren’s eyes widened.

“Let’s kill every Upside Downer.”

“Let’s kill every Upside Downer.”

“Let’s kill every Upside Downer.”

“Let’s kill every Upside Downer.”

“Let’s kill every Upside Downer.”

Caren placed his hands on the boy’s shoulders.

“Ken, what are you talking about?!”

“Let’s kill every Upside Downer.”

“Let’s kill every Upside Downer.”

“Let’s kill every Upside Downer.”

Caren slapped his face.

“Ken, please shut up.”

Ken smiled and repeated,

“Let’s kill every Upside Downer.”

Caren jolted awake in terror.

He looked around and noticed the ghost floating in the air, repeating the same thing over and over.

“Let’s kill every Upside Downer.”

Caren clenched his teeth.

“Shut up, shut up, shut up.”

The invisible creature giggled.

“Let’s kill every Upside Downer.

Caren, we can be together forever.”

Caren stared at her, clenched his fist, raised it, and punched the ghost in the face.

But his fist hit nothing and simply cut through the air.

“Get the fuck out of my mind.”

Caren dropped to his knees.

Then he began repeatedly slamming his head against the ground.

“Don’t you dare ruin my memories.

Just shut up and get lost.”

Caren stared at the floor and closed his eyes.

“Who are you?”

Suddenly, the door opened, and someone entered the cabin.

Their footsteps were light and cautious.

Caren raised his head and stared.

He didn’t make a sound.

Standing before him was a girl with apple-red eyes and raven-black hair that reached down to her waist.

Her pale face was filled with surprise as she stared back at him.

Atrin hesitated.

She hadn’t expected to see Caren, let alone find him like this.

After a long pause, she simply said,

“Hi.” You are reading on g.com, the official source.

Caren pulled himself together and got up from the floor.

“Oh, hello.

Didn’t expect to see you here.”

Atrin nodded and played with a strand of her hair.

“Uh, I mean, yes, yes.

Me too.

I mean, nothing.”

Caren looked at the floor.

“What are you doing here?

No, no, I mean, nice to see that you’re safe.”

Atrin sighed and looked out through the open door.

“The change from a place full of grass to a forest was very strange.”

“Forest?”

Caren stared at Atrin in confusion.

“What do you mean?”

Atrin raised an eyebrow.

“Didn’t you notice?”

She pointed outside.

“Come and see.”

Caren stepped forward and stopped next to Atrin.

His eyes widened, but he didn’t move.

A forest stretched out before him.

The trees reached high into the sky, birds sang among the branches, and the ground was covered with flowers of different colors.

The sound of a river filled the air, and the atmosphere was slightly humid.

Deer wandered through the forest, while a dog sat in a corner beside a tree.

“How…”

He turned to Atrin.

“How did this happen?”

Atrin stared at the forest with an expressionless face.

“It’s kind of hard to explain.

The ground cracked, the sky changed, the grass withered, the sun cracked, and then everything was rebuilt.

This time, in a different way.”

Atrin’s expression tightened slightly.

“There was no sound.

Even the sound of the wind stopped.

It was like I couldn’t even hear my own voice anymore.

Somehow, it felt natural.

Like this was what the environment was supposed to be like.”

Caren looked at her with a mixture of surprise and indifference.

If he had experienced what Atrin had, perhaps he would have reacted differently.

But right now, it felt like Atrin was simply telling him a story that wasn’t as surprising as it should have been.

“When did it happen?”

Atrin paused for a moment to think.

“When it got completely dark.”

So, it was logical that he hadn’t noticed.

He was asleep at the time.

“Was there any monster?”

“No.

In this jungle, I only saw animals.

But we need to be prepared.

We could be attacked at any moment.

After all, this is the Down World.

Summon your weapons and be ready.”

Caren furrowed his brow.

“Down World is this area’s name?”

Atrin paused and stared at him as if he had asked the stupidest question.

“What did you just ask?”

Caren’s face went blank.

Had he said something wrong?

Had he used a word that meant something different in this world?

“I asked, is Down World this area’s name?”

Atrin sighed and looked at the sky.

“Well, I’m cooked…

Down World is the whole world where Water Cores and Starts happen.

It’s where Upside Downers can go because of their powers.”

She looked at Caren again.

“Just summon your useful Spoil.”

Caren blinked.

Then looked at his hand.

“Oh, right.”

Caren summoned Dead Guide, and a thin rope appeared around his hand.

Something rubbed against Atrin’s leg, making her step back and raise her hand to strike.

But when she saw what it was, her face lit up.

“Hiii, Banana.”

Atrin picked up Dead Guide from the ground and hugged it, like it was a cute and lovely bany

Caren, confused by how fascinated Atrin was with the small, ugly creature, asked,

“Why did you call it Banana?”

Atrin smiled.

Her face was soft and kind as she petted the disgusting creature.

“Well, it didn’t have a name.

I thought this little creature was really cute, so what better name could there be than Banana?”

Caren tilted his head.

“Oh, yeah, it was obvious.

I think the same.

It is really, really terrib…

cute.”

Caren sneered.

“How I gained it was also cute.”

Atrin, who seemed to no longer be paying attention to Caren’s words, tickled the creature’s belly.

“Can I keep it?”

Caren shook his head immediately.

“Sorry, but it’s the only thing I have to defend myself from in this place you called the Down World.”

It’s my sister’s wedding, so I would write less or not write for some days, sorry
