CLANG!

CLANG!

Wolverine and Weapon XI collided head-on without holding back.Full novel: Psychic in Marvel World — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Adamantium claws against Adamantium blades.

Needle against needle.

Their direct clash erupted with a shower of sparks.

This collision carried tremendous force from both sides.

Under the recoil, both Wolverine and Weapon XI tilted backward slightly.

“Now!!”

Alex’s eyes suddenly flashed.

Following closely behind Wolverine, he instantly seized the opening and thrust viciously forward.

The tip of the Adamantium blade shot toward Weapon XI’s chest.

Fast.

Sharp.

Deadly.

But although the strike was swift and precise—

It wasn’t beyond Weapon XI’s expectations.

Just before the blade pierced him—

His entire body vanished.

“Tch.”

“Again with the teleporting!”

Alex cursed inwardly.

The attack missed.

With a flick of his wrist, he stabbed the blade into the dam beneath him.

TING!

Using the impact, he flipped himself away instantly.

Meanwhile, Wolverine—who had already mostly figured out Weapon XI’s teleportation weakness—also moved immediately after seeing him disappear.

WHOOSH!

Weapon XI reappeared.

But contrary to both their expectations—

He didn’t appear where either of them had previously stood.

Instead—

He materialized in midair above them.

Expressionless, he looked at both of them once.

Then teleported again.

Gone.

“Damn it…”

Wolverine growled and immediately started moving again.

But Alex?

Alex remained perfectly still.

Waiting.

In reality, from the moment Weapon XI disappeared, every muscle in Alex’s body had already tightened.

His senses expanded infinitely.

Everything around him suddenly became crystal clear.

Because—

He had switched from Ghost Eyes…

To Clairvoyant Eyes.

Alex’s Clairvoyance wasn’t just long-distance vision.

Night vision.

X-ray vision.

Complete multi-angle observation.

All of these belonged to its abilities.

In simpler terms—

His eyes were basically an upgraded version of the Byakugan.

A complete 360-degree field of view extending over ten meters around him.

The moment he activated Clairvoyance—

Nothing around him had blind spots anymore.

Buzz—

The instant the switch happened—

Weapon XI appeared.

Right behind Alex.

Twin blades plunged downward toward his back.

Under Clairvoyant Eyes, Alex could clearly see every movement.

Even the smug satisfaction in Weapon XI’s eyes.

“Heh.”

Alex smiled confidently.

Without even turning around—

He raised his sword.

And slashed.

One clean motion.

Smooth and instant.

Although Alex still couldn’t freely use Shinmei Style techniques under Clairvoyant mode—

His physical stats were absolutely real.

No exaggeration.

No shortcuts.

In terms of speed and power—

His strike wasn’t inferior to Weapon XI at all.

Victory or defeat could only be decided through collision.

Yet—

Weapon XI didn’t choose to clash head-on.

Just before both blades connected—

He teleported again.

The next moment—

He appeared directly in front of Alex.

Twin blades thrust toward his heart.

But no matter how fast he moved—

He couldn’t escape Clairvoyance.

The instant Weapon XI appeared—

Alex’s Adamantium sword was already there.

CLANG!!

The two attacks collided directly.

Perfectly even.

Weapon XI retreated immediately after contact.

The failed assassination attempt didn’t bother him at all.

Instead—

He teleported behind Wolverine.

PSSH!

PSSH!

Two blades stabbed straight into Logan.

The moment Wolverine roared and turned to retaliate—

Weapon XI teleported again.

Appearing in front of him—

His twin blades pierced directly through Wolverine’s chest.

“Slash!”

Right then—

Alex arrived.

Without hesitation, he unleashed a full-powered strike to stop Weapon XI from continuing the attack.

BANG!!

Not wanting a direct clash, Weapon XI withdrew his blades instantly.

But before leaving—

He kicked Wolverine in the chest.

Hard.

Logan was sent flying.

The problem?

Where Wolverine got launched…

Was empty air.

Right beside the edge of the dam.

If he fell—

He was about to experience bungee jumping.

Without the rope.

At the same time, Weapon XI shifted his full focus back onto Alex.

Twin blades moved in rapid succession.

SHHHK!

SHHHK!

SHHHK!

The attacks came nonstop.

His intentions were obvious—

Prevent Alex from helping Wolverine.

CLANG!

CLANG!

CLANG!

CLANG!

Within mere moments, Alex and Weapon XI exchanged over a dozen attacks.

Under the constant pressure—

Alex had no chance to help Logan.

“Damn it!!”

Midair, Wolverine cursed.

But strangely—

There wasn’t fear on his face.

Because whether he’d actually fall to his death…

Was another matter entirely.

The place Weapon XI kicked him from was over a body-length away from the dam wall.

If the structure were vertical—

He’d be doomed.

But this dam happened to be built in a curved design—

Wide below.

Narrow above.

And that gave Wolverine an opportunity.

SHIIIING—

Timing it perfectly, Wolverine slammed both claws into the dam wall.

Against Adamantium—

The wall may as well have been tofu.

His claws pierced straight through.

Unfortunately—

Success and failure often came together.

Because his claws were too sharp, they didn’t slow him much.

He still slid downward rapidly.

Even so—

That alone counted as surviving certain death.

Sliding down the wall, Logan glanced upward.

“…Looks like I won’t be getting back up there anytime soon.”

He paused.

Then muttered:

“Hope that kid survives…”

Meanwhile…

Kara, Emma, and the other mutants rapidly moved through the base toward the shoreline.

After Alex’s bloody massacre earlier, very few soldiers remained.

Even fewer still had the courage to fire at mutants.

And those who did?

Emma’s diamond form plus young Cyclops-style eye blasts erased them immediately.

Their escape was unusually smooth.

While running, Emma looked toward Kara.

“Sis…”

“Shouldn’t we find a boat first?”

“Without one, we can’t leave this island.”

Kara nodded worriedly.

“You’re right.”

“We have to leave immediately.”

“So much has happened here already.”

“The Canadian military definitely knows by now.”

“They’ll send troops soon.”

“If we don’t leave…”

“…none of us survive.”

BOOM!

The atmosphere instantly turned heavy.

They had only just escaped.

Now they faced military pursuit.

The younger mutants found it hard to accept.

A young girl suddenly cried:

“We’re mutants too…”

“Why do they treat us like this?!”

A boy nearby clenched his fists.

“Hmph.”

“To them, mutants are trash.”

“Pests.”

“They wish we’d all disappear.”

Silence.

The mutants all lowered their heads.

Dragged here against their will.

Experimented on.

Tortured.

Unable to fight back.

Seeds of resentment had already begun growing inside them.

And one day—

When those seeds bloomed—

Humanity would face the consequences.

Kara looked around and quickly changed the topic.

“We’ll worry about that after escaping.”

“Right now we need boats.”

“I’m not familiar with the island.”

“Maybe we should split u—”

“No need.”

Suddenly—

A magnetic voice echoed directly inside Kara’s mind.

“I already prepared transportation.”

Kara froze.

“Who’s there?!”

As a mutant herself, Kara immediately realized—

Telepathy.

Someone was speaking directly into her mind.

“I’m someone here to help you.”

“Don’t ask questions.”

“Follow my instructions immediately.”

“Joint Canadian and American special forces are almost here.”

Kara’s expression changed.

Secret military forces?!

After hesitating briefly—

She decided to trust the mysterious voice.

Following its guidance, she quickly led the mutants away.

Beside her—

Emma narrowed her eyes slightly.

Her expression shifted.

As she stared at Kara…

A strange look appeared in her eyes.

That ability…
