Chapter 18. Professionalism and Unnecessary Hints

Pure Route in a Netorare School

The final bell rang unexpectedly quickly.

Rin and I stood up from our seats at the same time.

“See you tomorrow, then.”

I briefly said goodbye to the others.

Hayato waved his hand.

“Good luck with the shoot!”

Mio smiled.

“Show us the ad later!”

“Definitely,” Rin replied calmly.

We left the school and headed toward the main gate.

A black executive sedan was already waiting by the curb.

The driver in a strict suit immediately got out and opened the rear door.

“Good afternoon, Miss Rin.

Kurisaki-san.”

Rin nodded as usual.

It was clear that this scene was completely ordinary for her.

I silently got in next to her.

The car smoothly pulled away.

For a few minutes we simply sat in silence, watching as the school streets gradually gave way to the lively quarters of the city.

Finally, Rin was the first to break the silence.

“You know…”

She looked thoughtfully out the window.

“You probably have the fastest start among Japanese bloggers I’ve ever seen.”

I looked at her questioningly.

She continued:

“After that fight video and our joint clips, even foreigners started subscribing to you.

I specifically checked the comments.

English.

Spanish.

Korean.

Even Portuguese shows up.”

I smiled slightly.

“I think I just got very lucky.

I started successfully together with you.

And…”

I looked at my palms.

“Probably my physical data helps.”

Rin smiled quietly.

“Probably?”

“Yeah, half the comments are about your figure in general.”

I just sighed resignedly.

“I guessed as much.”

She laughed softly.

Then suddenly she became thoughtful.

“You know…”

“I’m a little jealous of you.”

I looked at her in surprise.

“Why?”

She lowered her gaze.

“It’s always been hard for me to find my niche.

Over several years I tried almost everything.”

She began counting on her fingers.

“Vlogs.

Challenges.

Travel.

Recipes.

Cosmetics.

Even gaming streams.”

She smiled quietly.

“And every time it seemed…

Now it’s going to work.

But then the viewers’ interest dropped again.”

I was silent for a few seconds.

Then I said calmly:

“Actually…

That’s not even a bad thing.”

She turned to me in surprise.

“Why?”

“Because you have a very diverse audience.

People are already used to watching you in different formats.

But if we’re talking about the future…

I would still choose one main direction.”

Rin tilted her head with interest.

“And which one?”

I smiled.

“Well…

I watched your channel yesterday.”

She blinked in surprise.

“The whole thing?”

“Almost.

Over several years.”

Now Rin looked genuinely shocked.

“Seriously?..”

I nodded.

“I think you should focus mainly on fashion.

Shopping.

Reviews of new collections.

Creating looks.

Combining brands.

Everything related to style.”

She listened attentively, without interrupting.

“You really have good taste.

And, more importantly…

You don’t just show expensive things.

You understand why they go well together.

It’s noticeable.”

Rin was silent for a few more seconds.

Then she blushed slightly and looked away toward the window.

“I think…

You’re right.”

She smiled softly.

“It’s funny.

I’ve been running the channel for several years…

And I get the best advice from a person who became a blogger just a couple of days ago.”

I shrugged.

“Sometimes an outside perspective is more useful than your own.”

Rin nodded quietly.

For some reason…

These words made her think much more deeply than she expected.

The car smoothly stopped next to a modern glass building.

The driver got out first and opened the door.

“Miss Rin.

Kurisaki-san.”

Rin nodded as usual.

“Thank you.”

We went inside.

A spacious hall.

White marble floor.

Large screens with the company’s advertising videos.

Employees passing by Rin bowed politely.

She only briefly responded and confidently walked forward.

It was clear that she was well known here.

We went up to the third floor.

Work was already in full swing behind the glass doors.

Lighting technicians were setting up the lights.

Cameramen were adjusting the cameras.

Makeup artists were laying out cosmetics.

“Ah, finally.”

A familiar low voice sounded.

Ryuji Sakamoto came out to meet us.

A tall man in an expensive dark suit.

Despite his age, his broad shoulders and heavy gaze had not disappeared.

When he smiled, his stern face immediately became paternally kind.

“Kurisaki-kun.”

He extended his hand to me first.

I immediately bowed.

“Ryuji-sama.

Thank you for the invitation.”

He shook my hand firmly.

“Ha-ha!

What a well-mannered guy you are.”

Rin sighed quietly.

“Dad…

You came again.”

Ryuji innocently spread his hands.

“What’s wrong?

I’m interested to see who my daughter is working with.”

Rin crossed her arms over her chest.

“You promised not to interfere in my career.”

“And I’m not interfering.”

He smiled even wider.

“I’m just glad you get along so well.”

Then he looked first at me, then at Rin.

“And you two would make a great couple.

A son-in-law like that would suit me just fine.”

Rin froze.

A second later, her face turned bright red.

“D-Dad!!

What are you even saying?!”

I couldn’t help but smirk.

Ryuji laughed loudly.

Several employees also smiled, pretending to be very busy with their work.

I, on the other hand, became serious in the next moment.

I looked directly at Ryuji.

“Ryuji-sama.”

He immediately turned to me.

“What is it, Kurisaki-kun?”

I nodded almost imperceptibly toward the photographer.

“Do you see that man?”

Ryuji cast a short glance.

“Of course.

That’s my nephew.

One of the company’s best photographers.”

I calmly met his gaze.

“Please forgive my audacity.

But…

I really don’t like the way he looks at Sakamoto-san.”

Ryuji’s smile disappeared.

“Kurisaki.

Do you understand what you’re saying right now?”

In the next second, the atmosphere around him seemed to change.

The air became heavy.

Even the employees nearby instinctively fell silent.

It wasn’t something supernatural.

Just…

A man who had led a huge organization for decades could make it clear with one look that he was used to making decisions on which other people’s fates depended.

His eyes literally drilled into me.

As if trying to determine…

Whether I was lying.

Or not.

Anyone else would probably have looked away by now.

But I continued to calmly look him in the eyes.

“I understand.

That’s exactly why I’m saying this to you personally.

I may be mistaken.

And if that is truly the case…

I am ready to accept any punishment you deem fair according to the laws of your family.”

Silence became even heavier.

A second passed.

Another.

And suddenly…

Ryuji laughed loudly.

The heavy atmosphere disappeared as quickly as it had appeared.

“Ha…

Now that’s character.”

He looked at me attentively.

“You know…

Except for my father, no one could withstand my gaze.

And you didn’t even flinch.”

I calmly replied:

“If it concerns the safety of Sakamoto-san…

It would be wrong to back down.”

Ryuji nodded slowly.

Then he looked again toward the photographer.

This time…

With a completely different look.

“Good.

I won’t jump to conclusions.

But I’ll check him personally.”

He turned to his assistant.

“Discreetly.

Gather all the information on him.

Finances.

Phone.

Work materials.

And everything related to Rin.”

The assistant bowed shortly.

“Understood.”

Ryuji looked at me again.

“If you’re wrong…

We’ll forget about this conversation.

But if you’re right…”

His voice turned icy.

“He will very much regret ever appearing near my daughter.”

I simply nodded shortly.

“Minus another route.”

Ryuji Sakamoto cast a short, heavy glance toward the photographer. The man immediately tensed.

“Let’s go,” Ryuji said calmly and nodded toward the exit. “We need to discuss something.”

The photographer turned pale but obediently followed him. Under the surprised glances of the other employees, both disappeared behind the door.

Ren remained standing in the middle of the set.

He was wearing only black sports shorts. No tank top. The concerned head photographer (a woman in her thirties with brightly painted lips) had insisted on this “for the best visual effect.” She was literally devouring him with her eyes, especially when he moved.

Rin came out of the makeup room in her sportswear.

A black crop top hugged her high, firm breasts, barely containing them with every movement. Short, tight shorts emphasized her long legs and perfect thigh lines. Her waist was exposed, and every breath made the abdominal muscles tense slightly. She looked devilishly sexy and at the same time clearly felt out of place — her cheeks were slightly pink.

Ren walked closer to her and, leaning toward her ear, whispered quietly:

“You look very hot in this outfit.”

Rin instantly flushed to her ears. She sharply punched him in the abs with her fist.

“Idiot!” she hissed, but her voice treacherously trembled.

Ren just laughed softly. The punch was very light — for him it felt like a caress.

Only now did Rin truly take in his body. The ropes of muscles she had previously seen only in videos and photos in social networks were now right in front of her. Broad shoulders, powerful chest, clearly defined abs, and deep lines of the oblique muscles. Against the background of her miniature figure, he seemed like a real giant.

“He’s… huge…”

The photoshoot began.

At first — standard shots. Rin and Ren posed with sports nutrition: cans, shakers, smiles. Everything professional and quite innocent.

But then the head photographer (that same concerned one) decided to “add dynamics.”

“Great! Now Ren does push-ups, and Rin lies on top holding the can!”

Rin froze.

“U-uh… what?”

But she was already gently laid on Ren’s broad back as he assumed the push-up position.

“Smile!” the photographer commanded. “And say the line: ‘Take our testosterone supplement — you’ll be like this stud!’”

Rin was crimson. She only managed to say the line normally on the tenth take.

Ren did push-ups calmly and powerfully. With every rise, the muscles of his back and arms tensed. Rin lay on his heated, sweat-damp body. The heat from his skin penetrated through the thin fabric of her top. A sharp but strangely sweet and alluring smell of male sweat hit her nostrils.

“Reliable…” flashed through her mind. “Even if he does push-ups forever, I won’t fall…”

When she finally slid off him, her legs were slightly trembling. Between her thighs she felt treacherous burning and wetness. The fabric of her panties under the shorts had become unpleasantly damp.

I’m such a pervert! How can I… right during the shoot!

She threw a quick glance at Ren.

He was calmly drinking water, smiling kindly at her. No hint of mockery. Only light concern.

There’s clearly something wrong with my head… Pervert!

She was covered in his sweat. The fabric on her chest and thighs glistened wetly.

The next shot was even bolder.

Ren used Rin instead of a barbell. With one hand he supported her by the waist, with the other — under her thigh. She sat on his shoulders like a real barbell.

“She’s not even my working weight!” Ren said loudly to the camera while pressing. “All thanks to ‘Titan Test’ from the company!”

He did several reps, carefully and confidently. Rin felt every movement of his powerful muscles. Her body literally trembled with excitement. Her face was red, her breathing quick.

When he carefully set her down on the floor, she could barely stand on her feet…

Ren immediately took a towel and carefully draped it over her shoulders.

“You did great,” he said softly, smiling.

“Y-Yeah… thank you! You too…” Rin muttered embarrassedly and almost ran to the makeup room.

As soon as the shoot ended, that same horny photographer immediately approached Ren. She licked her lips and looked at him seductively from below.

“Well, Mr. Ren… Want some exclusive photos? We can go to my place right now. I have an excellent studio at home…”

The hint was more than transparent. The woman looked good — breasts, face, figure — she had it all. But after Rin and the other heroines, she no longer aroused any particular interest in him.

Ren calmly smiled and politely shook his head.

“No, thank you. I’ll wait for the finished video and photos by email. Thank you for your work.”

The photographer was clearly disappointed but backed off.
