22-1 Fighting the Plague
On a sacred Friday night, countless spirits and demons flocked to Ki Ronggo’s hut from every direction.
Tejo arrived accompanied by his trusted advisor, Ki Wongso, and his ten beloved consorts:
Bartini, Cartini, Dartini, Partini, Gartini, Hartini, Jartini, Kartini, Lartini, and Martini — all soft‑curved, radiant, and full of grace.
Sekar Arum also made her entrance, flanked by her elite female warriors and loyal attendants — women both beautiful and strong, their presence commanding yet alluring.
All gathered and sat in a wide, orderly circle across the yard, beneath the glow of lanterns and the soft light of the moon.
Ki Ronggo sat at the head, flanked on both sides by his ten devoted handmaidens:
Bariyah, Cariyah, Dariyah, Pariyah, Gariyah, Hariyah, Jariyah, Kariyah, Lariyah, and Mariyah.
Agung took his place beside Sekar Arum and her retinue, his expression calm but watchful.
Ki Ronggo opened the gathering in a steady, solemn voice.
Ki Ronggo: “Brothers and sisters, we have come together this night to find a way to lift this affliction that has fallen upon us.”
Agung spoke next, his tone grave and clear.
Agung: “This is no ordinary illness — it is a curse, sent directly from the realm of Mount Bromo.”
Tejo: “Mount Bromo?
You mean… Queen Cempaka?”
Ki Wongso: “The all‑powerful Demon Queen herself?”
Sekar Arum: “But why would she turn her wrath upon Mount Slamet?”
Ki Ronggo: “For years now, many travelers and young souls have vanished without trace near Bromo’s slopes…”
Agung: “Through my spiritual sight, I have seen the truth — those young men are taken, spirited away to serve in her palace.”
Tejo: “Ah… so she is angered because we dared cross her boundary and test her famous barrier?”
Ki Ronggo: “Exactly.
Her pride has been wounded, and she strikes back without mercy.”
Agung: “Even though our journey was only meant to defend our own realm and seek answers.”
Sekar Arum: “But… what does she want with so many young men?”
Agung: “In the visions granted me during meditation… I learned they are taken for but one purpose — to satisfy her endless hunger and desire.”
A collective gasp rippled through the assembly; every woman present pressed her hand to her mouth in shock, their eyes wide with disbelief.

22-2 The Spiritual Vision
Far away, in the world of mortal men…
That same night, the air grew heavy and cold, thick with an eerie stillness that raised goosebumps on the skin.
A small team of investigators — led by Joni, a gifted Indigo child born with the sight — ventured into an old, abandoned building.
Once it had been a lively nightclub known as Kembang Setaman Discothèque but now it stood silent and forgotten.
The stale, musty air did not deter them, though fear hung thick around their necks.
The cameraman, hands trembling, aimed his lens toward a shadowed inner chamber — the spot Joni had indicated as the center of strange energy.
Joni: “Stop right there… inside this room, the spiritual power is intense and restless.”
Jefri, terrified, clung tightly to Joni’s arm, his heart hammering.
Jefri: “What do you see, Joni?
You have the sight — tell us what waits there!”
Joni closed his eyes and focused all his senses, reaching deep into the unseen realm.
Slowly, a hazy image formed in his mind: a landscape of steep, mist‑wreathed mountains.
Joni: “Guys… I see figures sitting cross‑legged in front of a small hut… many of them, gathered closely together.”
Jefri gripped him even tighter, his knees turning weak.
Joni: “They speak in hushed, urgent tones… men and women both, their faces serious as if weighing a matter of life and death.”
Suddenly, the vision turned completely black — but in the silence, Joni heard soft, breathless sounds floating through the void: the sweet, heavy sighs of women lost in pleasure.
At that exact same moment, the camera crew gasped as thick, inky mist swirled into existence right in the middle of the room, rolling like living smoke.
Joni: “Back away!
Now — leave this room!”
The whole group turned and fled in panic, rushing toward safer parts of the building.

22-3: The Miracle Cure
Even as Joni’s vision faded into darkness, the reality on Mount Slamet unfolded just as strangely.
Symptoms struck swiftly: throbbing pain behind the eyes, heads heavy as lead, and a mounting, unbearable pressure that clouded thought and stirred the blood.
And the only relief — the only known way to still the ache — lay in intimate union.
If they held back, they risked falling into a deep stupor, or worse, losing their minds entirely.
Men and women, spirits and demons alike, began to move in a frenzy, seeking partners wherever they could.
They hurried and stumbled, drawn together by a primal, irresistible need.
The moment two souls found each other, they surrendered completely, casting aside modesty to join as one right there on the grass and earth, finding in each other’s embrace the only balm for their suffering.
Ki Ronggo and Agung stood aside, watching the scene unfold with calm, knowing smiles.
Agung: “Elder… does this bring true healing, or only momentary rest?”
Ki Ronggo: “It calms the fire for a time… but it is no true cure.
The curse will return again, and stronger, unless we strike at its root.”
No sooner had he spoken than Bariyah and her nine sisters drifted close, their steps languid and inviting, their garments slipping loose to reveal soft, glowing skin.
Nearby, Sekar Arum turned gracefully toward Agung, presenting the full, supple curve of her hips and rear — smooth yet faintly scaled, warm and inviting in the moonlight.
Sekar Arum: “Agung… please… hold me close and join with me… it is the only way to quiet this burning ache inside…”
And so, right there beneath the open sky before the hut, the night turned into a great, swirling celebration of bodies and relief — partners came together, separated, and found new ones again, their cries of pain softening into sighs of pleasure, as all sought refuge in the only comfort the curse allowed them.

Author’s Note
Kembang Setaman Discothèque is one of the iconic locations and settings featured in my previous and connected work titled: “Nagini: The Last Silat Warrior — An Indonesian Wuxia Epic”.
That story is a unique Indonesian‑style action and adventure saga, carrying a theme of journey across time.
Nagini — a warrior from the 16th century — travels through time and awakens in the modern era.
It is a story purely rooted in the art of Silat, wrapped with deep inner power and mysticism.
In this tale, you will witness how the greatness of ancient martial arts heritage meets and clashes with the sophistication of modern technology — from CCTV cameras and sharp bullets, to advanced drone attacks — all of which can be overcome by Nagini’s supreme mastery of combat arts.
The story is full of dynamic action, presenting intense conflicts against crime syndicates, the mafia, corrupt police officers, and gangs of thugs.
Amidst the tension and high‑octane battles, the narrative is woven with fresh, witty humor typical of Indonesian culture, making the adventure both thrilling and highly entertaining.
Nagini: The Last Silat Warrior is already complete and fully concluded on this platform.
For readers who enjoy martial arts stories with a unique style, filled with humor, mysticism, and non‑stop action — the saga of Nagini is a must‑read that should not be missed.
