4 – Competing with the Manly Bitch for the Fish Pond

“The original owner dated Ying Yi for six years, yet the favorability didn’t even reach the passing mark. As for Mo Yihan, they saw each other every day due to work, but there was no sign of any favorability either. According to your logic, shouldn’t I just wait until the original owner’s death date arrives and jump off a building directly?”

“……” 001 was left speechless again.Full novel: Quick Transmigration: The Scumbag Cries While Eating My Ashes — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Master, you’re different though.” 001’s voice was soft and cute: “Don’t you want to recover your memories? I’m doing this for your own good~”

Yu Ai sneered coldly, “Do you know what the most annoying phrase in the world is?”

001 asked uneasily: “What is it?”

Yu Ai: “It’s ‘for your own good’!”

“……” 001 silently drew circles in its system space.

After Yu Ai calculated the time and glanced at the alarm clock, it was just about right.

She spent a long time picking and choosing from the original owner’s wardrobe.

They were all ladylike clothes – no skirt was shorter than knee-length, and even the tops were mostly collared shirts. It really matched the original owner’s usual style.

She picked a pearl-white long dress to wear.

Yu Ai looked at herself in the mirror. Hmm, not bad. The woman in the mirror had a slender figure but excellent proportions – curvy in all the right places. Her facial features were delicate, with gentle eyes and brows. The brown tear mole under her eye made her entire face appear fragile and pitiful.

The original owner’s figure and appearance were top-notch, truly deserving of having been the campus belle of University A. It’s just that her usual style was too plain.

This white dress fit perfectly. She casually tied up her hair, deliberately pulling out a few strands in the front. She also took flesh-pink eyeshadow from the dressing table and applied it under her eyelids to create a weary, sorrowful look.

To be honest, thanks to the original owner’s good skin and natural no-makeup look, this plain and fragile appearance actually had a bit of that Green Tea White Lotus charm.

As for why she needed this White Lotus look? To deal with a masculine-acting bitch, of course you need an innocent Green Tea White Lotus.

Watching Yu Ai change out of her pajamas and spend so long on her appearance, 001 asked confused: “Master, what are you doing so late at night?”

“Didn’t you say I need to raise favorability?”

“Where are you going to raise favorability at night?” 001 felt like it couldn’t keep up with the rhythm at all.

“You’ll find out soon.”

She had just checked Han Haoyu’s social media on the original owner’s account.

He had a competition today, perfect for her to see what this childhood friend of the original owner was like.

…

8 PM, racing track.

Han Haoyu was surprised to see Yu Ai in the audience. He remembered that after Yu Ai started dating Zhuang Yi, she never came to watch his competitions again. Was the sun rising from the west today?

He scanned the surroundings but didn’t see the person he wanted to see. Withdrawing his gaze, he focused on the race.

Yu Ai certainly knew who he was looking for. Under Han Haoyu’s social media post, Zhou Hui had commented that she would come watch his race today.

Looks like he was disappointed that the person he wanted to see didn’t come.

In the racing venue, surrounded by cheers and excitement, only Yu Ai sat quietly watching the race.

“God Han! God Han!”

“God Han! Go for it!”

“God Han! I love you!”

Han Haoyu was a professional racer. Because of his handsome looks and amazing skills, he had many female fans. The venue was filled with excited screams from fans.

It had to be said that aside from his good looks, the reason these racing fans adored Han Haoyu was because his skills were truly impressive.

On the final curve, Han Haoyu was a full half-lap ahead of second place, unquestionably taking the championship.”Ahhhhhhh! God Han! God Han! God Han!”

Yu Ai’s ears were stung by the piercing screams, so she immediately left the spectator stands and went backstage to find Han Haoyu’s coach, Li Ge.

“Xiao Ai, long time no see. It’s been a while since you last came to watch Xiao Yu compete.”

Li Ge was a middle-aged man in his forties, a retired professional racer turned coach. Over the years, he had become familiar with almost everyone around Han Haoyu.

He led Yu Ai to the lounge and said, “Rest here for a while and wait for Xiao Yu. This wasn’t a major competition; he’ll be back right after receiving the award.”

Yu Ai nodded with a smile. “Thank you, Li Ge.”

“No problem, no need to be polite!”

Li Ge closed the lounge door behind him, feeling puzzled. Yu Ai and Xiao Yu used to get along very well, but somehow they drifted apart later. Instead, she grew closer to that straightforward girl named Zhou Hui.

Just then, Han Haoyu returned with his trophy. Li Ge spotted him and called out, “Xiao Yu, your friend is waiting for you in the lounge.”

Han Haoyu frowned. “Yu Ai?”

“Yeah, did you see her? I thought she seemed a bit upset earlier.”

Han Haoyu scoffed inwardly. What did her bad mood have to do with him? Was she here to vent? He wasn’t a trash can!

He pushed open the lounge door and entered, spotting the same figure in white he’d seen in the spectator stands earlier, now sitting on the stool he usually used during breaks.

Hearing the door open, Yu Ai immediately turned around. She stood up and smiled. “Haoyu.”

Han Haoyu was wearing his red and blue racing suit, which accentuated his broad shoulders and narrow hips. With his thick, dark hair and striking features, he exuded a rebellious, untamed aura.

Holding a helmet matching his racing suit in his left hand and the trophy in his right, he stood at the doorway, staring coldly at her.

Seeing the man remain silent with a deep frown, Yu Ai asked, “Why are you frowning so much? Are you in a bad mood?”

Han Haoyu snorted coldly. “You’re the one in a bad mood, aren’t you?”

Yu Ai lowered her head, shaking it silently.

Han Haoyu placed the trophy and helmet on the lounge table. “Already arguing right after getting married? That doesn’t seem like Ying Yi’s style.”

He had never seen the two of them argue before; they were usually all over each other.

Han Haoyu hadn’t attended their wedding two days ago, using a race as an excuse and just sending a red envelope. Ying Yi had originally wanted him to be a groomsman.

“We didn’t argue.”

“If you didn’t argue, why are you looking for me right after your wedding?”

Now that he was closer, he could clearly see Yu Ai’s pale, haggard face and slightly red, swollen eyes. Had she been crying?

Hah, wasn’t the man she chose the best in the whole World? How could he bear to make her sad?

“I just wanted to watch you race… It’s been so long since I last saw you compete.”

“Now that you’ve seen it, can you leave? I need to change.” Without waiting for her response, he began unzipping his racing suit.

Sure enough, this heartless dog of a man truly lived up to the -20 green favorability number above his head!

Yu Ai said softly, “Then… I’ll go?”

As she turned to leave, she glanced back at Han Haoyu with a hurt, vulnerable look in her eyes. Seeing his expression remain unchanged as he continued undressing, Yu Ai quickly ran out.
