"Fuck!

I fired! I fired!!"

The soldier's face changed instantly, and without waiting for orders from Ross, he aimed his M16A2 at Peter.Full novel: Rebirth: I Turned Spider Man Into an Executioner — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Bullets spewed fire, wildly rushing towards Peter.

But after a full magazine was emptied, as the smoke cleared, there was nothing but darkness!

"Shit!"

"What happened?! Report immediately!"

Ross's voice came through the radio.

The soldier was about to respond, but the next moment he turned his head and froze, cold sweat pouring down his body.

Peter was hanging upside down on the armed helicopter.

His head aligned perfectly with the soldier's, and the black coat behind him hung down like a giant bat.

Even with the mask covering his face, the soldier could clearly sense Peter was smiling.

"What... what kind of monster are you?!"

The soldier's eyes were filled with undisguised terror as he tightly gripped his empty gun.

Peter didn't reply, a hand wrapped in red spandex slowly reaching towards the soldier.

"Enough, Spider-Man, it's time to go."

Hearing Luo Mang's voice in his ear, Peter's hand paused abruptly, his fingers just centimeters from the soldier's tongue.

"Buddy, next time don't comment on someone's appearance so casually."

Peter instantly reverted to his playful demeanor, tossing out a cheeky remark before leaping lightly to stand beside Luo Mang.

"I just wanted to teach him a lesson."

Peter shrugged, his tone completely different from before, like a child who had done something wrong.

"Either do nothing or go all the way. For you, the word 'lesson' shouldn't exist. Don't forget, you still have May."

Luo Mang looked at Peter quietly, making Peter feel deeply ashamed.

But then, a warm, large hand gently ruffled Peter's head.

"But don't worry, I'll always be behind you."

"Luo!"

Peter was once again moved to tears; it wasn't the first time he saw Uncle Ben's shadow in Luo Mang.

Luo Mang then took a deep look at the armed helicopter representing Ross, and the Abomination entangled with the Hulk behind them.

With Peter, he turned and left the street corner.

"Now's not the time, most of the blood samples have been destroyed, we'll need to find another way."

Luo Mang's voice floated through the dark alley like sparks in the wind.

In a secret military base.

"Emil has been stable recently, and the special cell effectively restrains him."

"Those two from that day? Sorry, General, no leads yet."

"Yes, yes, I understand..."

Through the thick walls, voices from the meeting room could be heard.

A man strolled through the military base as if it were his own hallway.

Until he bypassed numerous checkpoints, finally pulling out an unknown card to easily enter Emil's special cell.

"Hi, Emil, we meet again."

"Luo, this is your 26th visit in three months, I really don't need a psychologist!"

Emil's demeanor was somewhat listless, nothing like the big, angry man he once was.

"Don't say that, Emil, you're sick and need treatment."

A quick look at will leave you more fulfilled.

Luo Mang wasn't disappointed by Emil's attitude.

Instead, he maintained a slight smile, casually placing a book beside him.

"I don't think it will help."

Confined in various suppressive devices and energy fields, Emil shrugged, having grown accustomed to Luo Mang's presence.

"Want to see the latest newspaper?"

Luo Mang pulled a crumpled newspaper from the book and shook it at Emil.

"Of course, if you're willing."

Luo Mang approached the field, spreading the newspaper for Emil to see.

"Fuck!!"

Emil slowly walked over, but when his eyes fell on the newspaper, he couldn't help but slam his fist down.

"Don't do that, Emil, you'll only attract more attention, and I won't be able to provide you with outside news anymore."

Though he said this, Luo Mang's expression remained unchanged.

"Why am I locked up here while Bruce Banner gets to be outside?!"

Emil roared at Luo Mang, finally showing a hint of his former Abomination self.

"Not everything is fair, you should know that."

Luo Mang calmly put away the newspaper, picking up a book with a white cover.

"Alright, time for today's story session.

Today, let's talk about... hmm... the story of Typhon, the Father of Monsters."

Luo Mang lowered his head, the curve of his smile widening slightly, though Emil didn't notice.

The Father of Monsters, Typhon.

Inheriting the most powerful Titan bloodline, with a visage that struck fear into the gods.

Born from hatred and resentment, with the purpose of destroying the gods.

Over the past three months, Luo Mang had repeatedly snuck into the military base where Emil was held.

Under the guise of a psychologist, he subtly fed Emil some 'nourishment.'

The environment can promote changes in human nature.

Especially since Emil was already in an isolated environment.

The only person he could interact with was Luo Mang!

The 'Lucifer Effect' came into play!

At this moment, Emil was moving in the direction Luo Mang hoped for.

"Alright, that's it for today's story, Mr. Emil, see you next time."

Luo Mang stood up, pulled a dog whistle from his pocket, blew it, and prepared to leave.

With each visit, Luo Mang would subtly hint to Emil.

But Emil's progress was still far from Luo Mang's expectations; it seemed patience was required.

"Don't you want to get me out of here?"

Watching Luo Mang at the door, Emil finally couldn't hold back.

"Oh?"

For the first time, surprise flickered in Luo Mang's eyes. He lowered his raised hand, turned back to Emil.

"I'm a former commando, I know what my fate will be.

Given that, why would there be a psychologist?

If there's no psychologist, then how did you appear?"

Emil lowered his head, as if questioning himself.

"I originally thought you were a figment of my imagination, a subconscious creation after the trauma.

Every time you left, I would question myself.

But this time, I'm finally sure!"

Emil slowly lifted his head, his eyes bloodshot, somewhat resembling Peter's past state.

But Emil was different from Peter; he was more pure!

"Tell me your thoughts."

Luo Mang showed no embarrassment at being exposed, instead looking at Emil with interest.

"The story!"

Emil roared with a hint of madness, then laughed at Luo Mang.
