[Quest Mission]
Details: Comfort Kanazawa Iroha!
Missions.
Heal her Heart! (0/1) {Reward: 200 BP}
Heal her Body! (0/1) {Reward: 100 BP}
Reward: Level up!
Failure: Affection level drops to Hate!
I paused for a moment, reading the mission details—which were somewhat ambiguous yet easy to understand. What’s more, the rewards offered by the system were quite substantial.
If I added them to the BP I already collected, it might be enough to buy a few new skills or boost my stats.
But now wasn’t the right time; I pushed that thought to the back of my mind and focused on the drunk woman in my arms.
“Sensei, are you with me?”
The female teacher looked up, staring at my face for a few seconds before her lips curled into a smile.
“Um, shall we keep drinking?”
“I’m still underage, for heaven’s sake.”
I sighed, feeling grateful that thanks to my excellent physical condition, carrying Kanazawa-sensei with me wasn’t difficult.
Walking down the crowded streets—that’s what made it difficult, because not only did I have to be careful not to bump into other people, but I also had to be on guard against lecherous men staring at me—or at Sensei.
My black eyes glared at those who dared to look my way, but my efforts were in vain as three guys my age walked over, licking their lips.
“Onee-san, are you busy right now?” one of the guys asked.
Standing before me were three men who were fairly well-dressed and wearing popular clothing brands.
As for their faces, they were handsome enough, though not as handsome as celebrities. I noticed they were well-built and taller than me.
What irked me the most was that their lecherous gazes weren’t directed at me, but at the mound of flesh hidden beneath Sensei’s black sweater.
The three of them exchanged glances, grinning and whistling as if they’d landed a big catch.
Their behavior reopened a memory sealed deep within my mind; a memory of Kanzaki on that dark night when everything fell apart, leading her to commit suicide.
I clenched my teeth, trying to push that traumatic memory far away.
“Get lost! I don’t have time to deal with you guys!”
When I said that in a loud, angry tone, the three men turned to look at me—including Sensei.
The men furrowed their brows, glaring at me. They were trying to intimidate me, but unfortunately, it didn’t work.
“Who are you? We are asking nicely here. No need to be so hostile.”
“He’s right, are you perhaps jealous of not getting picked?!”
“...”
One man asked in a polite tone, another tried to verbally attack me, and the last one just stared at me, pursing his lips to highlight his sharp jawline.
I exhaled a long breath, murmuring. ‘I can use them.’
“If you guys want trouble, why don’t you just take it over to that narrow alley over there?”
The atmosphere around us turned icy; people passing by our group would only pause for a quick glance before continuing their business.
They didn’t want to get involved in any trouble, but that was exactly what I wanted. This way, I could earn some BP and eliminate the problem right then and there.
‘Two birds with one stone, right!’
The three men’s eyes widened; shortly after, they chuckled, and one even burst out laughing on his own.
I knew it would turn out this way, so instead of talking too much, I grabbed one of the man’s hands and used my muscle strength to squeeze his hand until it let out a sickening ‘crack.’
The man’s face turned blue; he screamed loudly, drawing the attention of everyone passing by.
“Aaah!”
[Physical contact established...]
‘I’ll suck the life out of you!’
Before the system could notify me, a burning sensation arose in my lower abdomen, coursing through to my hands and beginning to draw out the man’s life essence.
[Gained BP +1]
[Gained BP +1]
...
“Aaakh!”
His loud voice turned hoarse as his body slowly collapsed to his knees, groaning in a dark whisper.
His other two friends took a step back, their pupils dilated in horror as they witnessed this scene.
The kneeling man’s face turned pale; his cheeks, which had been slightly plump, grew gaunt, and that was when I let go of his hand. I was afraid I would draw too much attention.
…Well, even though I already drew quite a bit, this was better than him fainting.
I looked up, glaring at the other men. They swallowed hard and helped their friend, who was clutching his palm.
“Want to keep going?”
I asked; I could hear that my tone was calm yet radiated with cold anger.
Those lecherous men took off without saying a single word, and the expressions of the people around us changed—they stared at me with awe and a hint of fear, especially the men.
“Kanzaki-san, you...”
I snapped out of my reverie and turned to the side, seeing Kanazawa-sensei looking at me with a calm expression, having sobered up after what had just happened.
“Sensei, are you feeling better?”
“Y-Yes.”
The woman replied while holding her head; it seemed the effects of the alcohol were still lingering in her system.
“Where do you live, Sensei? Is it close by? I’ll walk you home.”
“Thank you, but I’ll just take a taxi home.”
Hearing that, my breath caught in my throat. I tried to keep a calm expression and said,
“I’ll go with you to make sure you’re okay.”
Kanazawa-sensei shook her head; she slowly stood up straight and pulled away from my embrace. The warmth and softness of her body lingered for a while, making me exhale.
“It’s okay, I don’t want to trouble you.”
This was quite a hassle; I knew all too well how strict she was with herself and her students. I racked my brain, trying to come up with a logical reason so I could be alone with her.
‘All this is for s*— no, for BP. I need a lot of points!’
I watched the woman standing by the side of the road, waving at a taxi that happened to be passing by.
“…Does Sensei often get drunk like that?”
The moment those words came out of my mouth, I saw her body tense up—it seemed I hit a sore spot.
Without turning around, Kanazawa-sensei said,
“I-I do it often, so…”
Hearing her stammering reply, I couldn’t help but chuckle and stand beside her.
“Let me accompany you; I’m a bit worried in case something happens to you. Don’t worry, I’ll pay for it myself.”
“But…”
Right after she was about to refute me, a taxi pulled up in front of us. Without any warning, I grabbed her hand, opened the passenger door, and got in together.
“Where to?” asked the driver.
I glanced at the woman, who was biting her lip, still unsure about all this, but eventually she let out a long sigh and said,
“Take me to...”
***
Contrary to my expectations, Sensei’s house was quite far from campus—we even had to cross over to the neighboring prefecture.
Luckily, I received compensation from the Himekawa family for helping with the spirit extermination yesterday. Otherwise, I would crawl into a hole and bury myself after saying irresponsible things before her.
We stopped in front of a tall apartment building, and then Kanazawa-sensei said as we walked.
“Come with me.”
I followed a step behind her through the front entrance, and saw an empty lobby. Sensei walked over to the right, toward the elevator and pressed the button for the top floor.
There was no conversation between us; it was just that, every now and then, I stole a glance at her, noting her somber, heavy expression.
‘Is this because of her husband thing?’
I shook my head; it was true that I had once peeked at an incoming message on her smartphone, but the problem she faced this time might be something else.
With a ‘ding,’ the doors in front of us opened, and we both stepped inside at the same time. Inside the cramped elevator, I could smell Sensei’s sweat mixed with the floral scent of her perfume, making me gulp.
Suddenly, the silence in the elevator was shattered when Sensei’s phone emitted a deafening ring. I glanced to the side as the woman picked it up; her expression darkened.
Without further ado, Kanazawa-sensei pressed the power button on her phone, turning the screen completely black.
I shifted my eyes forward, staying silent for a few seconds before speaking up.
“I’m sorry for causing you trouble, Sensei.”
The woman blinked, looking at me with a mixture of surprise and a hint of coldness; it seemed the message she received earlier was still affecting her mood.
“Don’t worry about it. It's my duty to protect one of my students, but this is an exception, okay?”
Just then, a “ding” sounded, and the elevator doors slid open in both directions, revealing a long hallway with doors neatly lined up on the right.
Kanazawa-sensei walked over to the door closest to the elevator, and unlocked it with a key she had tucked into her bag.
The door creaked open, revealing the dark interior. Sensei invited me in, and when the light switched on, I couldn’t help but gape at just how spacious the room was.
As Sensei took off her shoes, she said,
“Come in—just make yourself at home.”
I nodded, swapping my shoes for the indoor slippers the woman had prepared. As I stepped further inside, a living room that opened onto the kitchen greeted me.
My gaze fell on a long sofa that looked soft and comfortable enough to sleep on. There was a rectangle table made of polished wood, and across from it, I saw a thirty-two-inch television complete with its audio system on the wall.
“Sensei is going to take a shower first; you can wait in the living room and shower after me.”
I turned to the side, looking at the woman with a stiff expression.
“Are you sure, Sensei?”
“Of course. Just wait there.”
The woman pointed toward the sofa before turning around and entering the bathroom. I followed her instructions and sat down on the sofa, which seemed to swallow me whole.
‘Woah, so soft.’
While I was waiting, I glanced around, trying to fill the void until I finally remembered my plan before I happened to run into Kanazawa-sensei on the street earlier.
“Status.”
I brought up my status screen, and saw that no significant changes had occurred until,
...[BP: 396]
“Damn, that’s a lot!”
My eyes widened at the sheer number of points I had accumulated.
I didn’t know how or who my biggest contributor was, but one thing was clear: with this, I could max out all my parameters and see if there were any skills worth buying.
‘Upgrade the Soul and Charm parameters to 100.’
The moment I issued that command, licking my dry lips, the points on my panel dropped drastically, bringing up another purple panel that made me grin.
[Soul: 51 > 100]
[Charm: 15 > 100]
[Your remaining BP: 262]
Suddenly, I felt something inside me awaken. It wasn’t like when I upgraded my physical abilities to the limit; this sensation felt present, yet vague and formless.
My head, which had felt constricted, expanded; my brain, already filled with so many things, felt freed from its shackles as if it had received an upgrade.
My eyesight felt so clear as I could absorb and process information faster.
The corners of my mouth turned up slightly, and then, I opened the ‘Shop’ menu, browsing through the detailed list of items, whose prices were quite affordable for me right now.
My finger paused when I noticed the inventory limit had increased from ten to twenty.
“Let’s see—maybe there’s a good skill in there.”
My gaze lingered on the very last entry; I even had to double-check to make sure my eyes weren’t playing tricks on me.
Listed there, I saw a skill that was an absolute must-have if someone were to be transported to another world.
...
Skill: Appraisal Eyes (E) – 200 BP
‘Finally, a useful skill has appeared.’
I bought it immediately, watching the floating panel in front of me glow brightly.
‘No, not this again!’
I closed my eyes tight, but the light seeped in through my closed eyelids, entering deep to my pupils.
Both my eyes snapped open, emitting a beam like a headlight on the night streets. A while later, the light faded, revealing my shiny black eyes once more.
I glanced at the TV to test my new power.
“Appraisal.”

A purple panel appeared, then vanished as I blinked. I tried it on the objects around me and couldn’t help but grin.
‘This is freaking awesome.’
From behind, I heard the sound of a door opening and footsteps approaching slowly.
I turned my head and saw Kanazawa-sensei coming toward me, wearing a white camisole and comfortable black mini-shorts that exposed her smooth, flawless white skin and sexy curves.
I swallowed hard, feeling grateful to be in a woman’s body—and that was probably one of the reasons Sensei didn’t really mind showing a bit of her skin.
“Kanzaki, you can use the bathroom now. I’ve also prepared a change of clothes for you.”
Kanazawa-sensei said something, but I didn’t catch a single word she uttered and instead focused on the panel that suddenly appeared.
