The disciples who had been captured were finally freed.
Many of them were injured and exhausted, but they were alive.
Chen Feng quickly gathered them together.
“Listen carefully.
Return to the sect immediately and report everything that happened here.
Tell the elders that demonic cultivators have established a sacrificial altar inside Blood Moon Valley.”
The disciples nodded.
One of them asked nervously, “What about you and Senior Sister Meilin?”
Chen Feng glanced at Meilin.
The Yin Poison had already begun spreading through her body.
Her face was pale, and her aura was becoming weaker with every passing moment.
“We’ll find a way to escape,” Chen Feng said.
The disciples did not waste any time.
They immediately left Blood Moon Valley to seek reinforcements.
As soon as they disappeared into the distance, Chen Feng heard several powerful auras approaching.
His expression changed.
More demonic cultivators had arrived.
One glance was enough for him to realize the danger.
Several of them were Golden Core cultivators.
There was no way he could fight opponents at that level.
At that moment, Meilin staggered and nearly collapsed.
The poison was getting worse.
Without hesitation, Chen Feng grabbed her.
“Senior Sister, forgive me.”
Before she could respond, Chen Feng lifted her onto his back.
Then he activated the Void Steps.
Whoosh!
His figure shot through the forest like a phantom.
“Stop him!”
A furious roar echoed behind them.
The Golden Core demonic cultivators immediately gave chase.
Trees exploded apart as powerful attacks crashed into the forest.
Chen Feng pushed the Void Steps to their limit.
His body cultivation gave him immense physical strength, while the Void Steps allowed him to move with incredible speed.
Even so, the gap in cultivation was enormous.
A Golden Core cultivator struck out with a palm attack.
Boom!
The ground behind Chen Feng exploded.
The shockwave threw him forward.
Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth.
But he did not stop.
If he slowed down, both he and Meilin would die.
Hours passed.
The chase continued across forests, mountains, and rivers.
Chen Feng consumed several recovery pills while continuously using the Void Steps.
Eventually, the demonic cultivators began losing track of him.
The dense corrupted energy of Blood Moon Valley interfered with their spiritual senses.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, Chen Feng changed direction several times.
Finally, the pursuing auras disappeared.
Only then did he dare to stop.
Panting heavily, Chen Feng looked around.
He had unknowingly arrived near the cave where they had previously taken shelter.
A smile appeared on his exhausted face.
“We made it.”
He carried Meilin into the cave and carefully placed her on the stone bed.
The moment he touched her arm, he frowned.
Her body was ice cold.
The Yin Poison had become much stronger.
Meilin slowly opened her eyes.
Her lips were pale, and her breathing was weak.
“Leave me…” she whispered.
Chen Feng shook his head.
“Senior Sister, don’t say such things.”
“The poison is too strong…” Meilin said weakly.
“There must be a way.”
Chen Feng immediately searched through his storage bag.
He took out healing herbs, antidotes, and several medicinal pills.
Unfortunately, none of them were effective against Yin Poison.
His expression became increasingly serious.
For the first time since entering Blood Moon Valley, Chen Feng felt truly helpless.
Outside the cave, night slowly descended.
Inside, Meilin’s condition continued to worsen.
Chen Feng clenched his fists.
“No matter what, I’ll find a way to save you.”
As he spoke, a faint memory from the Ancestor’s Inheritance suddenly surfaced in his mind.
A method to suppress Yin Poison.
Chen Feng’s eyes widened.
Perhaps there was still hope.
