After a full day of cultivation and recovery, Chen Feng and Senior Sister Meilin finally stepped out of the cave.

The fresh air greeted them as they looked toward the depths of Blood Moon Valley.

Meilin could hardly believe the changes in her body and marks of love on her body was also visible.Full novel: Reborn me is a body cultivation genius — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Not only had the Yin Poison been completely removed, but her cultivation had also advanced from the Third Layer of the Golden Core Realm to the Seventh Layer.

Even Chen Feng had broken through several small realms.

“How are you feeling, Senior Sister?” Chen Feng asked.

Meilin glanced at him.

“Better than ever.”

A rare smile appeared on her face.

Chen Feng was stunned.

For a moment, he forgot to breathe.

“What are you staring at?” Meilin asked coldly.

Chen Feng immediately looked away.

“Nothing, Senior Sister.”

Meilin rolled her eyes.

As Chen Feng and Meilin walked through the forest, neither of them spoke for a while.

The events inside the cave remained fresh in their minds.

Suddenly, Meilin stopped walking.

Chen Feng also stopped and looked at her.

“Senior Sister, what’s wrong?”

Meilin hesitated for a moment before speaking.

“What happened inside the cave…”

Her voice became serious.

“…must never be mentioned to anyone.”

Chen Feng immediately understood what she was talking about.

He nodded.

“Don’t worry, Senior Sister.

I won’t tell anyone.”

Meilin looked directly into his eyes.

“Not Master.

Not Senior Sister Bai Jingyun.

Not Senior Brother Han Li.

No one.”

Chen Feng raised his hand.

“I swear I won’t tell anyone.”

Only then did Meilin relax slightly.

“The Yin Poison, the cave, and the method we used to remove it are secrets between the two of us.”

Chen Feng nodded again.

“I understand.”

A faint blush appeared on Meilin’s face, but she quickly hid it.

“If anyone asks, we simply found a safe place to hide while I recovered from the poison.”

“Understood, Senior Sister.”

Meilin turned around and continued walking.

After taking a few steps, she added coldly,

“And if you ever mention it, I’ll throw you off a flying sword.”

Chen Feng laughed awkwardly.

“I definitely won’t mention it.”

The two continued toward the altar, carrying the secret of the cave deep within their hearts.

Along the way, they discovered traces of battle.

Broken trees, sword marks, and bloodstains covered the ground.

“It looks like the reinforcements have arrived,” Meilin said.

Soon, they sensed powerful auras approaching.

Several flying swords descended from the sky.

Leading the group was Master Bai Ruyu.

Behind him were Senior Sister Bai Jingyun, Senior Brother Han Li, and several elders of the sect.

“Master!” Chen Feng shouted.

Master Bai Ruyu landed before them.

When he sensed Meilin’s cultivation, his eyes widened.

“Golden Core Seventh Layer?”

The elders were equally shocked.

Just a few days ago, Meilin had only been at the Third Layer.

How had she advanced so quickly?

Meilin simply bowed.

“This disciple was fortunate enough to encounter an opportunity.”

The elders nodded.

Cultivators often had their own secrets.

As long as it benefited the sect, they would not ask further questions.

But Master Bai Ruyu noticed the mark of love on the meilin’s neck.

Master Bai Ruyu then looked at Chen Feng.

His expression became strange.

“You also broke through?”

Chen Feng scratched his head awkwardly.

“This disciple was lucky.”

The nearby disciples looked at him with envy.

Breaking through several realms during a mission was not something ordinary cultivators could achieve.

At that moment, a loud explosion echoed through the valley.

BOOM!

The ground shook violently.

Everyone turned toward the source.

A pillar of black light shot into the sky.

The expressions of the elders changed immediately.

“The sacrifice ritual is beginning!”

Without wasting any time, the entire group rushed toward the altar.

When they arrived, they saw hundreds of demonic cultivators gathered around the giant statue of the Demon God.

At the center stood an old man dressed in black robes.

His aura was far stronger than the Golden Core cultivators Chen Feng had encountered before.

“Nascent Soul Realm!” one of the elders exclaimed.

The old man laughed.

“You righteous fools are too late.”

The blood-red altar began glowing.

Countless souls cried out in agony.

The statue of the Demon God slowly opened its eyes.

A terrifying pressure descended upon the valley.

Even the elders felt their hearts tremble.

Master Bai Ruyu immediately drew his sword.

“Elders, stop the ritual!”

“Disciples, rescue the captives!”

A massive battle erupted.

Golden lights and demonic energy collided throughout the valley.

Explosions shook the heavens.

Meanwhile, Chen Feng stared at the Demon God statue.

For some reason, the Ancestor’s Inheritance inside his body was reacting violently.

A mysterious voice echoed within his mind.

“Destroy the statue.”

Chen Feng’s eyes narrowed.

He didn’t know why, but he could feel that the statue was hiding a terrifying secret.

If it wasn’t destroyed now, Blood Moon Valley would become the birthplace of a disaster.

As the battle raged around him, Chen Feng quietly began making his way toward the altar.

The fate of everyone in the valley was about to change.
