"I don’t really get it, but I think I’ll figure it out in the future, I guess."

Liam turned his attention toward the planet beneath him, watching the tiny organisms multiplying throughout the vast oceans.

"System, activate Temporal Acceleration again."

[Affirmative.]

Time accelerated once more, and in no time, millions of years passed within moments.

The oceans gradually became filled with countless microscopic organisms, with bacteria spreading across the shallow waters and thriving wherever conditions allowed them to survive. Among them were primitive photosynthetic organisms that absorbed sunlight and released oxygen as a byproduct of their activity.

At first, the amount of oxygen produced was almost meaningless.

But as their populations expanded across the oceans, their combined activity slowly began changing the atmosphere.

The planet’s atmosphere gradually became more suitable for increasingly complex forms of life, while the surface itself continued to transform. Volcanic eruptions repeatedly reshaped the land, mountains rose as enormous sections of the crust collided, and erosion slowly carved valleys and basins into the growing continents.

Beneath the surface, massive tectonic plates continued moving relentlessly.

Landmasses drifted across the planet, sometimes separating from one another before eventually colliding again. Over an immense span of time, several enormous continental regions were pushed together by tectonic forces, forming a gigantic unified landmass.

Liam watched as the colossal continent continued growing until it covered a vast portion of the planet. Yet the formation was never permanent.

Deep cracks eventually began appearing throughout the landmass as the tectonic plates beneath it continued shifting. The cracks widened into enormous rifts, allowing seawater to flood between the separating pieces of land. The great continent began breaking apart.

New oceans formed between the fragments, while mountains rose along the boundaries where the crust continued colliding. The planet’s geography changed dramatically as the continents slowly drifted into entirely new positions. Then the climate began changing.

Temperatures dropped across the planet, causing enormous glaciers to spread from the colder regions. Ice gradually covered vast portions of the continents and oceans, transforming the once-active world into a frozen landscape.

"Cool, ice started forming."

Liam watched with fascination as the white sheets continued spreading across the surface.

[Major climatic change detected.]

[Global glaciation has begun.]

Despite the increasingly hostile conditions, life did not disappear.

Beneath the ice, microscopic organisms continued surviving within pockets of liquid water. Others gathered around volcanic regions where heat from beneath the crust prevented the surrounding water from completely freezing.

Then, after another immense passage of time, something changed.

Liam shifted his attention back toward the system, his curiosity quickly returning.

"System, when do I get the ability to, for example, see inside myself?"

Liam considered the name for a moment before his thoughts immediately connected the pieces together.

"Based on the name itself, it feels like a feature where I can enter spectator mode within my own body."

Liam became slightly more interested after hearing the confirmation, although he still had no idea how long he would need to wait before reaching the required condition.

"System, how long has it been since I got reincarnated, based on my perception?"

[It has been 2 days.]

"Two days already?"

Liam was genuinely surprised.

"I thought it had only been a few hours. Having nothing but a blue transparent interface and the darkness of space in front of me is seriously messing with my perception of time."

For someone who had once measured his days through sunlight, meals, sleep, and ordinary human activities, existing without any of those familiar references had made time almost impossible to judge.

Liam returned his attention to the planet, watching the frozen oceans and scattered landmasses continue their slow transformation.

Then, without warning, the system interrupted his thoughts.

Liam’s attention lingered on the final notification, his curiosity quickly turning into excitement.
