The five suns beat down on the ruined expanse of the third island, casting harsh, overlapping shadows across a battleground that was rapidly disintegrating.

At three hundred meters long and three hundred meters wide, the floating rock was normally anchored in place by its own dense gravitational pull. But under the relentless barrage of pure light and screaming electricity, that gravity was buckling.

The entire island groaned—a deep, tectonic grind—as it tilted violently to the left, sending burning debris and scorched boulders sliding into the empty sky.Full novel: Reincarnated Immortal: Healing My Crippled Storm Saint Wife — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Below them lay the base of the Golden Sun Realm: a massive, five-hundred-meter landmass surrounded by a dark, shimmering ocean. An ocean so volatile and dangerous that stepping into its waters meant immediate death.

Floating above that ocean, stacked one after the other into the high atmosphere, were the endless tiered landmasses—the Infinity Islands, or so everyone believed, and of which Island Three was currently threatening to flip completely upside down.

Sen slipped on the tilting slope, digging his boots into a fissure as the wolf bounded across the shifting ground. The Ravager was practically uninjured.

"Rain! We can’t kill this thing!" Sen yelled, taking a puff of smoke before returning his vape into his pocket and using Spatial Control to bend the air beneath them, stabilizing their footing on the listing island. "It’s literally made of light! Every time we cut it, it just reknits its form!"

Rain ducked beneath a sweeping claw of pure light that sheared off a ten-meter slab of cliffside. She skidded back toward Sen, her breath coming in heavy, jagged gasps. Her tier 4 Class dress was scorched, but her eyes burned with cold, ruthless calculation.

"We don’t kill it," Rain said, staring at the dark ocean swirling hundreds of meters below the tilting edge. "We dump it in the water."

"Are you insane?" Sen groaned, folding space to block a stray beam of light that threatened to pierce his chest. "It moves like a photon! You can’t just ’push’ something made of light into an ocean—it’ll flash-step out before it even touches the surface!"

"It won’t flash-step if it’s too busy unleashing an attack," Rain countered, her voice dropping into a deadly calm. "Create a distraction. Force it to commit to a full-scale blast, and I’ll speed-blitz it off the edge before it can recover."

Sen gritted his teeth. "You’re going to get yourself erased."

"Do it, Sen."

The Azure Class Ravager threw its head back, sensing their desperation. Its light-manifested body flared with terrifying brilliance, absorbing the rays from the five suns above.

The gravitational core of Island Three gave another violent shudder, tilting thirty degrees to the right. Flame and lightning swept across the ruined rock as the beast began condensing a light bomb in its maw—an attack meant to vaporize the entire island and everything on it.

"Fine! Don’t blame me if we end up fish food!" Sen roared.

Abandoning his usual relaxed demeanor, Sen poured everything into his spatial abilities. The air around the wolf shattered like glass. Spatial Tears ripped open simultaneously around the beast’s head and limbs, twisting the geometry of the immediate area.

The wolf snarled as its light bomb was momentarily destabilized, the space around its jaw bending violently. Distracted, the beast focused its immense light power into a single point, desperate to overwhelm Sen’s spatial grip.

That was the opening.

Rain didn’t just activate her Eclipser ability, Lightning Space—she made sure to compress it.

Instead of expanding the fifty-meter ionized domain outward, she drew all the electrical energy inward, forcing it to condense into a dense, screaming core of violet and blue lightning right at her palms. The pressure was agonizing; her Tether strained, vibrating with a high-pitched whine as the sheer Astral Burden threatened to tear her arms apart.

The lightning space collapsed into a miniature, unstable orb of pure voltage.

With the island pitching at a terrifying forty-five-degree angle and flames consuming the stone beneath her, Rain launched herself forward.

She became a streak of raw, blinding speed.

The wolf realized the trap a microsecond too late. Its light bomb was fully charged, glowing like a sixth sun in its jaws, but it couldn’t redirect its momentum. Rain burst through the smoke, driving the compressed lightning core directly into the beast’s chest.

BOOM!

The explosion didn’t just hit the wolf—it disrupted its light-form completely, locking it in place as the kinetic force of a hyper-compressed lightning space detonated.

Using the maximum limit of her Eclipser speed, Rain slammed her body into the giant beast, propelling both of them off the tilting, ruinous edge of Island Three.

They plummeted into the open air above the Golden Sun Realm, leaving Sen standing on the collapsing, flame-wreathed island above, watching as the wolf and Rain plummeted straight toward the deadly, dark ocean below.
