After Zane had slayed the boss of the 75th Floor, he continued pushing deeper into the dungeon.
"I have reached the 100th Floor," Zane muttered while sitting on the corpse of a big monster on floor 99. "My status has really increased. This should be enough for the 100th Floor, right?" he said while pulling out his status window.

"With this shadow mage class that lets me hide and teleport I can make any weapon just as my sister does and I can use other elements the exact same way," he said while standing up and heading to the door of the 100th floor.
Zane reached the 100th floor finding himself standing in a vast wasteland covered in green mist. In the far distance, a giant cloud like fog was coming out of the top of a mountain. It took Zane a whole week to reach the location of the mist when he finally reached it.
The dense fog surrounded the mountain. A dragonoid monster attacked him right away upon his arrival. As the dragonoid came running towards him and slammed its spear into his chest, Zane immediately used his skill:
DARK VOID!
A ring of darkness appeared in front of Zane, swallowing the dragonoid’s spear. A second ring of darkness appeared right behind the dragonoids head and the monster’s own weapon went straight into its skull.
The other dragonoids quickly noticed Zane and started to swarm him.
"Too weak," Zane sighed while looking at the ground.
FWOOSH!
A big ring of shadow expanded, covering a radius of 50 meters. Confused the monsters ran forwards nevertheless and Zane simply muttered:
DARK SPEAR!
Massive spears of shadow erupted from the ground impaling the mass of monsters before they could react.
"Why are they so weak, man? I expected them to be strong and why are the rest running away from me?" Zane complained while heading deeper into the cave that the dragonoids had been guarding.
"Why wouldn’t they, when your killing intent is stronger than a dragon?" a deep voice echoed across the cave.
"Who said that?" Zane shouted as a deep voice resonated throughout the cave.
FWOOOSH!
A wave of crushing bloodthirsty intent came from within the cave. Zane was shocked for a second before a grin appeared on his face.
"Interesting."
Zane ran towards the cave doors until he reached a pair of massive doors. On the doors there were two dragons facing each other surrounding a dark orb swirling with corrupted mana.
Zane frowned.
"It seems you have noticed," the deep voice chimed again.
Zane opened the doors and entered the room. The room was piled high with treasure and in the middle there was a demon with long curved horns wearing pitch-black armor with a dragon insignia attached to it. It was sitting leisurely on a throne made purely from gold decorated by two dragons facing a golden orb. The demon was holding a chain bound to a black dragon lying under its feet.
"You arrived faster than I expected. Who led you here? Don’t tell me this stupid dragon told you to come," the demon sneered while stepping viciously on the black dragon’s head.
ROOOAAR!
The black dragon let out a pained roar that echoed all the way outside the dungeon.
Outside the dungeon, Sofia gripped her weapon tightly. "That sound again," she muttered. The aura surrounding the mountain was now so suffocating that wild monsters had fled in fear.
"Huh? You were the one talking to me and screaming?" Zane asked back while looking at the chained beast.
’What is this feeling that makes my blood boil the moment I enter this room?’ Zane thought.
"It seems you are from the William family, main branch?" The demon on the throne asked.
"How do you know about my family?" Zane snapped back, his voice dark. "What a dumb question. Pfft... it seems those guys haven’t reached here yet," the demon replied with a sigh.
"Who are you talking about?"
"You will know when they arrive. However, my effort to capture this dragon was a success and finding a prince here will be an even better present for our leader," the demon said while standing up.
"What do you want with the dragon?" Zane demanded.
"Isn’t it obvious? If we capture all the dragons guarding the human nations we can take over the world and bring back our God! HAHAHA!" Its laughs echoed off the treasure-lined walls. "Bring back your God?" Zane asked, caught off guard.
"Scared, little prince? HAHAHA!
"TCH.. "
FWOOOSH!
Zane appeared in front of the demon, drawing one of his katanas. He sliced off the demon’s horn and split the golden throne in two with the shockwave.
BOOM!
"Let’s just end this now," Zane said while turning his back to the demon. "Then talking about things that aren’t going to happen while I’m still breathing."
"AAAH! How dare a human cut off my horn! I will kill you!" The demon shrieked.
DEMON VEIN SPIKES!
Thick black veins erupted from the ground and shot towards Zane. Zane calmly used:
DARK VOID!
The veins flew into the dark portal and reappeared right behind the demon impaling its own back.
"AAAH! How did this happen?!" It shrieked looking at the black veins sticking out its torso. "How does it feel knowing you are weak?" Zane asked while sheathing his katana.
For a moment the boss room was silent.
Outside the dungeon the sky had turned pitch-black above the mountain. Lightning flashed and thunder roared while a massive amount of mana condensed in the clouds creating a massive sphere of raw power.
BOOM!
The sphere exploded shooting out a shockwave that could be felt all around the realm.
"Mmm... that is not a good sign," powerful figures throughout the kingdom simultaneously said.
A beam of concentrated mana shot down from the sky, penetrating the mountain and the boss room.
"Something is coming," Zane said while looking at the ceiling.
The surging mana flooded right into the demon’s body.
"HAHAHAHA! This still isn’t enough power for me to rampage - you, get over here!" the demon roared while facing the chained beast.
DEMON DEVOUR!
The demon’s hand turned into countless tendrils encircling the black dragon. The dragon roared in pain while its vitality was being sucked out.
Zane dropped into a low stance to attack. "Ahhh... That’s more like it. Now, let’s fight!"
FWOOOSH !
Both figures charged and collided fists in mid-air. A shockwave shook the whole dungeon structure, reverberating all the way to the surface.
"Zane!" Sofia called out while looking towards the mountain peak.
"Princess, what’s going on?" Joshua asked to draw his sword.
"I just felt Zane’s mana signature," Sofia said while pulling her blade from a fallen monster.
"I felt it too but it’s mixed with that chaotic mana from earlier," Maria said, her face pale.
Deep within the cavern the fight continued.
"You can keep up with me even after I unsealed my power and took the dragon’s strength? Interesting," the demon grinned wildly.
"You’re just weak, that’s all," Zane replied stepping back for distance.
The demon shot a barrage of veins at Zane, they were faster, thicker and coming from all directions.
Zane used:
DARK CIRCLE : BLACK FLAME
A wave of black fire erupted in a 50 meter radius, incinerating the coming tendrils. The demon jumped back just in time to avoid the flaming wave.
Zane closed the distance and pulled out his God Slayer Sword from his inventory space:
HEAVENLY DRAGON STRIKE: GOD SLAYER SWORD (20% POWER)
FWOOOSH - BOOOM!
The demon barely dodged out of the way. Zane’s blade struck the floor, shattering the bedrock and tearing a massive fissure that cracked all the way to the surface above.
’If that attack had landed I would have been wiped,’ the demon thought while breaking into a cold sweat.
"I always wondered if demons feel pain but the look on your face answered that for me," Zane said while turning his gaze towards the airborne demon.
"Tch! I am not afraid of human scum like you!" The demon roared.
LIGHTNING THUNDER VEINS!
FWOOSH! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Veins crackling with black lightning chased Zane around the room. All of a sudden Zane stopped dead in his tracks.
DARK DOMAIN!
Pitch darkness consumed the whole boss room. Within the domain, Zane had complete control of the surrounding mana and space. As the demon charged Zane immediately teleported behind it.
DARK SWORD: ABYSS CUTTER!
BOOOM!
The demon was sliced in half, collapsing to the floor.
"Whew, that was exhausting," Zane muttered while sitting down on the ground to rest.

"I only got this after fighting demons for three years?" he muttered while closing his eyes and falling asleep.
"...AAAH! Where am I?" Zane blurted out while he woke up, rubbing his arms. "Ugh it’s freezing!"
Looking around Zane saw the snow-capped peak. "Ah... right, this is Demon Mountain. I’m finally out!"
Zane stood up and pulled out a heavy coat from his inventory. "I’d better hurry down. My sister must be worried about me."
Zane started his trek down the mountain trail.
At the base of the mountain, Sofia and her party kept their eyes on the peak.
"Mmm... Something is coming. Prepare yourselves!" Sofia ordered while pointing towards the mist.
As a shadowy silhouette emerged from the fog, Sofia and the others drew their weapons to strike.
