The royal capital of Lugnica.

“Tsk, this face is truly beautiful…”

Theresia stood before the fountain in the center of the royal capital, looking down at her reflection in the water.Full novel: Re:Zero: Why Is Reinhard Calling Me Grandmother?! — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The water surface reflected a face that could drive any painter mad.

Fiery, vibrant red hair cascaded down to her waist, shimmering with a silky luster under the sunlight.

When a breeze blew, the strands of hair drifted gently, like dancing flames or flowing lava.

Her features were so exquisite they seemed otherworldly; the bridge of her nose defined the perfect curve of her profile, and her full, cherry-colored lips were slightly pursed, carrying an air of natural, innocent charm.

In particular, those azure eyes, clear as a cloudless sky, had long, curled eyelashes, making every blink feel like an electric jolt to anyone watching.

“Back in my original world, those top-tier actresses or ‘national goddesses’ would all have to step aside. With looks like these, I could crush them all without even needing a beauty filter.”

Theresia reached out and pinched her own soft, tender cheek; the texture was as smooth and delicate as a freshly peeled egg.

“Hmm… the surgery was a success. I’m a beautiful girl now.”

Theresia looked down at her chest, at the two lumps of weight that shouldn’t have been there, and couldn’t help but make another snide remark,

“Why does saying that feel so weird? It’s like I’m celebrating something I shouldn’t be.”

That’s right, she was a transmigrator.

In her previous life, she was a college student named Lin Feng—male, into women, who stayed up late grinding the Re:Zero mobile game and spent over a hundred thousand on microtransactions.

Then, she woke up having transmigrated into the Re:Zero world.

And she had turned into the five-star limited female Sword Saint from her account, Theresia.

It was truly unbelievable.

Come to think of it, Theresia had been transmigrated for half a month already.

She had first landed in the Kingdom of Kararagi, and after spending half a month wandering and sightseeing, she finally made her way to the royal capital of Lugnica.

With her strength, any monsters or bandits she encountered on the road were dispatched with a flick of her hand; she just treated it like a vacation.

“Fine, there’s no such thing as ‘wearing women’s clothing’ just once; it’s either zero times or infinite times. But since I’m already a girl, wearing women’s clothes is normal. It would be weirder if I wore men’s clothes.”

Theresia muttered, looking down to inspect her attire.

She was wearing a set of common fashion items from the system shop, called’Scarlet Youth’.

It was called common because it was, well, just a common outfit.

Above that, there were Advanced, Limited, Festive, Rare, and Artifact-tier outfits.

Theresia felt that the design of this common outfit could definitely make it onto the runway at Paris Fashion Week in her previous world.

The top was a form-fitting white silk shirt, with a thin red ribbon tied at the collar.

The ends of the ribbon were embroidered with exquisite golden patterns, tied into a small, delicate bow right at her collarbone.

The bottom was a deep scarlet high-waisted pleated skirt, with the hem resting just three fingers above her knees—not overly revealing, but perfectly showcasing her long, straight, fair legs.

The tailoring of the entire outfit was clean and elegant, possessing both the lively sweetness of a young girl and a dash of heroic spirit.

Worn by Theresia, the effect was maximized.

“Items from the system shop are indeed quite good.”

Theresia spun around, her skirt fluttering, which drew the attention of several passersby; two young men even nearly collided with each other.

“So beautiful…”

“Is that young lady a noble?”

“Red hair is so rare. In all of Lugnica, there are very few with such pure, vibrant scarlet locks!”

“That outfit is also so pretty. Which tailor shop made it? I’ve never seen that style before.”

No matter the world, extreme beauty is always a universal pass, always capable of garnering favor and attention from others.

Hearing these comments, the corners of Theresia’s mouth couldn’t help but curl upward.

Vanity is something that remains even after transmigrating and turning into a beautiful girl.

“Still, this is just a common outfit; it’s a bit lacking compared to the Advanced and Rare sets.” Theresia thought as she walked forward,

“The Advanced outfits are truly gorgeous—the ‘Holy Night Attire’ is embedded with starlight gems, and the ‘Rose Knight’ set comes with its own petal special effects.”

“And don’t even get me started on the Rare outfits; they come with wings and halos. Once you put them on, your whole body glows like an angel descending to earth.”

Theresia actually wanted to change into one, but on second thought, she felt it wasn’t necessary.

She was new here, and parading around in such a flashy outfit would be like telling everyone, ‘I’m a fat sheep, come rob me!’

Although with her strength, anyone who tried to rob her would likely end up a ghost under her blade, it was better to avoid unnecessary trouble.

Being low-key is always better.

“Besides, to be honest, even without the outfit bonuses, just based on this face and this body, I’m the center of attention wherever I go. What I wear doesn’t really matter.”

Theresia looked down at the buttons of her shirt; that little button was stubbornly straining at a certain delicate spot,

“To have this kind of scale at eighteen, the genetics are just too good… though I kind of wish they weren’t right now.”

She poked it gently with her finger.

It was soft…

and bouncy.

“If I were to run, imagine how much it would jiggle.”

Theresia imagined the scene and silently deleted the thought of running from her mind.

“From now on, I’ll walk instead of running. Unless a monster chases me. No, wait—even if a monster chases me, I won’t run. If a monster chases me, I’ll just activate my ultimate skill and send it to the afterlife with one sword strike.”

Theresia sighed, deciding not to dwell on the two lumps of excess fat on her chest, and continued walking forward.

The commercial district of the royal capital was bustling with activity.

The cobblestone streets were lined with rows of shops; the bakeries wafted the rich scent of wheat, the blacksmith shops echoed with the clanging of metal, and the flower shops were filled with colorful blooms.

Passersby were dressed in various attires: human merchants, demi-human mercenaries, robed mages, and peddlers pushing carts to sell their wares.

Theresia walked along, looking around, her blue eyes filled with curiosity.

Although she had been in this world for half a month, Kararagi was a commercial city with a pragmatic and noisy style, full of merchants haggling everywhere.

The royal capital of Lugnica, however, was clearly more elegant and solemn.

The buildings were mostly made of white stone, the streets were clean and wide, and dragon elements were everywhere—even the street lamp posts were carved with dragon reliefs.

After all, it was a dragon-worshipping kingdom.

“To be honest, I completely inherited all the foundations and max-level attributes of my game character. My current strength is simply unreasonably powerful.”

Theresia walked along while calling up the system panel in her mind, looking at the strings of numbers, and couldn’t help but make some mental remarks.
