My time was spent on going through portals for hunting and Emilia hadn’t contact me for a while.
The portal outside our class was gone.
I stared at kids that played cricket after a while.
Some seniors arrived in our class and ask teacher for the permission to announce.
“A trip will be going to the to another planet named hegonave. It will be a fun trip and have lots of activities. Its not compulsory but free. So whoever wants to join can let the teachers know.”
Sam came to me to ask if i will go.
I hadnt been spending time with him and friends.
So they were quiet upset about it.
I didnt had time to go but trevor kept coming to me for days.
Even the bros asked me to come so i decided to go.
Many of tge students were excited because it was a trip to another planet.
Along with them we awaited the bus in front of my house.
The bus used to stop in there.
Nari bro and ariv bro stood with all other bros and guys.
All of them from the neighbourhood stood at the bus stop.
“Have you been to any voyages?” asked Lee.
He was my age and lived near my house.
We were friends since childhood but lately we didnt talk much.
“Yeah. Have you?”
“I am waiting for the guild. I will venture with them.”
The bus came and we huddled up and Like always I set on the window seat of the bus.
We crossed the mountains as fog covered the path.
The songs were on but kids were busy in their chats.
Nala stood up and passed us some tickets.
These were our numbers accprding to which we would sit as we switch stops.
The students were sad because of the change in seats.
We went on ahead wih the twirls and turns of the bus.
Nari and utah bro argued amongst each other while vidal bro settled the fight.
Sophia and Adriel sat together and laughed on the situation.
Sophia on the other hand was new to the group but we knew each other well.
The time came for reshuffling and the busses stopped in a ground.
The number of kids were huge.
We all were made to stand in lines.
It felt as if we had an assembly going on.
They guided us too be with our teachers.
The buses went for a turn and came back.
the teacher who was with us on our bus was the mosaic proffessor Nala.
She had her eyes on me when i entered the bus.
I wished her and moved on.
I was luckily given the window seat again and my partber was Ancel.
She was my classmate and Soaphia and Adriel were right in front of me.
I didnt know Ancel well but i knew Adriel.
So i was okay.
We didnt talk much in the bus.
But something happened that became a topic for us to discuss.
The bus stopped at a snack shop.
And sophia went to toilet.
The door behind her creaked and she stood in front of a mirror.
She noticed a tiny scratch on the mirror and rubbed it with her hand.
Suddenly the scratch severed into cracks.
Sophia screamed from the bathroom and everyone was shocked.
Miss Nala rushed to the girl but we reached there first.
She grabbed her arms tightly as she was fainted in the bathroom.
Miss Nala sprinkled some drops of water on her and she woke up.
She slowly woke up and grabbed Adriel’s arm suddenly when she woke up.
Nala asked what happened.
“It grabbed my arm.” She pulled up her sleeve and was left on awe.
“What grabbed your arm?”
“Where’s the mark. I swear it grabbed me.”
Nala took a bit to calm her down but some of her words shocked Nala.
For a while she sat with Miss Nala then came back to us.
We didnt talk about the incident just talked about random things to cheer her up.
But she didnt talk for a while.
“Remember how you threw the bottle at me. And it was a perfect hit.” I said and she finally replied.
“You still remember that.”
We chewed up the snacks and the music was back on.
Nala came to us while we talked.
I thought she would scold me about not appearing in exams but she was more curious about Sophia.
“How did he look like. Your hallucination.”
“It wasnt a hallucination it was real it had a lizard like look no more like a dragon and a tail. It was scary.”
She was further shocked.
So i asked her.
“Mam is something bothering you.”
“Its just that. The looks she describes are something i am familiar with.”
“What are they?”
Sophia instanly barges in.”Devils.”
“You shouldnt worry about it and enjoy the trip.”
We reached the portal.
We were the last group to arrive.
The buses had beams installed on them and once the bus entered one portal so did all of us.
We could see the ancient looking buildings, made of bricks and stones.
But they had huge artifacts made of white metals.
It shone like glass but the next moment we knew it wasnt.
It turned to liquid and fell as if water the next second and turned to another shape.
