I washed my face and looked at the mirror.
Did i do the right thing.
It was 3am and i had no idea what i was doing.
I waljed out of the bathroom and wiped my face of the towel.
As i came out the lady was sleeping on the bed.
She had a strange transparent mask on and even though i tried to wake her up.
Nothing had worked.
She was in deep sleep.
Her body had scratches on her legs.
I applied bandages to them but she didn’t move an inch from pain.
The injuries were minor but she looked tired.
As if she were running from days.
I felt sad for her.
She didn’t seem someone like us.
Alone in a place like this carrying a weapon heavier than herself.
I awaited below the bed waiting for her to wake up.
I drifted in sleep in sometime.
I didn’t wake up by sunlight.
It was her blade straight to my throath.
I could feel the itch of the cut that was engraved on my neck and my hearbeat rose when it looked at her eyes.
Cold as snowflakes as her eyelid closed the blade was pushed against me and the itch begun to grow.
“Ouch” i whispered and said.
“What are u doing? I saved your ”
she pulled the blade for a moment and pushed it again with a “shhhhsh”
“Where am i ? Why did u ambush me?”
“I didn’t faint you. You collided into the tree. Remember.”
Her pupils strolled the room and her grip of the blade was lightened.
Suddenly a jolt of pain rose in her leg.
I could feel the pain in her eyes but her face tried to hide it just like any other emotion.
“Are you okay?”
These words sharpened her eyelids.
I was afraid of the end of my story in mystery of portals.
But she took back her blade.
She sat on the bed and looked at the bandages but the damage was more than it looked.
Her feet didn’t move in a way it was supposed too.
Her lips hid the scream as she tried to straoghten her leg.
She was about to pull out the band aid but i grabbed her hand.

She asked “why did u help me?”
I had no reason i was still thinking if i did the right thing.
She stood up and was moving toward the door.
“Wait, Dont go out.”
“Is it not safe out ?”
“I mean its safe but people would be startled to see you.”
My eyes were hung on the scabbard as the question still roamed in my head.
She hode the scabbard and said, ” Its dark no one would be able to see me.”

“That’s why i am saying you should rest.”
Her thoughts hovered for a second then she settled again.
After a few minutes of silence while she checked her injuries and placed the bandages appropriately.
I wanted to stop her but I just looked at her while i looked at her doing one neatly.
“You clearly have no idea about these aids.”
I thought in my head i had no clue what was going on currently.
“Why are meds on this planet so slow?”
“Planet!”
She raised her eyebrow and smiled.
“So its a new born.”
“What do you mean?”
“You guys are new to Warp’s”
“those portals. Are you an a alien? Why do you have a blade?”
She chuckled,”I see you are interested in my blade.”

She kicked him and he banged against the wall.
The next second she was upthere and thrusted her blade in his chest.
She quickly pulled out the blade as other lights followed.
I came out of the window and waved at her to come back but she.
Another attacker flew towards her but she swung with a kick to his head.
His head struck to the wall and he slid across the wall.
