I looked at the mirror and my eyes wanted to close.
I washed my face and a horn blew outside my house.
“Ren! You are late.”
My mother went outside and told the bus to go.
Sophia asked Sam on the bus.
“What’s wrong with him? Its almost a month”
“Trevor we should go to check him up today.” Trevor nodded and said, ” It will be fine, don’t you know how he is.”
“How’s your second mosaic going? Does it hurt?”
“Nah i like the bird.”
The bus soon stopped and they entered the class.
They noticed me sitting alone on the last seat.
“Hey how have you been?”Said trevor
I just nodded and hode my hand.
“If you had been ready why didn’t you come in the bus?”
Sam noticed somethung and grabbed my hand.
“Where did you get this scar?”
“Its a ” I saw their faces for a while but couldn’t think of anything to speak up.
“What is it?”
“I got injured in voyage.”
“You should take someone with you. Or join a guild. Doing this all alone is scary.”
I didn’t say anything but their faces spoke of nothing but anger.
The class began and i could barely focus on any of them.
I dozed off because of the lack of sleep.
Thrn during the fifth class i noticed that feeling again.
“Mam can i go to bathroom?” She nodded and noticed the scars on my hand.
I carefully walked on the corridor.
And as a i got a chance i jumped to the roof another rift had opened on the top.
I summoned the sky blade and ran towards the demon.
I grabbed him and we both fell of the roof .
I slashed open another portal and we passed through.
“Its been few minutes is he ?”
I entered the class.
“What took you so long kid?”
I could feel itching there after the bite.
After a while she said, ” I won’t allow you in class again if you do this.”
I nodded and settled on my seat.
As i settled my bag started to glew and the teacher glared at it.
I opened my bag and saw mother’s name on the phone.
I folded my lips and looked at the teacher.”You can take it.”
She had said you forgot your lunch.
After the class was over Trevor reminded me of his bday.
For the month i had my hands full with the demons.
It seemed they came after the sky blade.
Just like Emilia’s mother warned me.
I trained in voyages but didn’t hunt.
In the afternoon, While i was doing pushups a demon spawned and then another.
Soon there were a group of demons.
“I ain’t tired.”
Soon the day for trevor party came and i went to his house.
There were a lot of people inside and everyone was having fun.
Adriel came up to me.
“Where have you been?” Sophia was with her and they both glared at me.
“I was busy.”
“Have you found a girl friend?”
“No no its not like that.”
“Then you should. It will be good for you.”
Ancel came from the back and said, ” i will help you find someone.”
Sophia was the continously glaring at my scars.
When they left i went to eat something.
There was cake and drinks which were passed by trevor.
I went to trevor and wished him.
He pulled me in to dance but i didn’t dance much.
I came out and went to the roof.
I stood glaring at the stars remebering the night i spent with Emilia and Nash.
A smile appeared on my face and Ancel caught it.
“What are you smiling about?”
“Memories with who. You don’t spend much time with us. And you haven’t still joined the guild.”
“Are you with Vidal bro?”
“I thought you would be first one there. You have spent your childhood with them. I still remember when we sat together in class. You loved to tell me stories about them.”
“It was calm.”
“Nothings changed. Besides you.”
“How did i change?”
“Just look at yourself. The most talkative guy now the silent one. But one things certain you still worry everyone.”
I hode my scars and she interrupted, “Everyone knows about them. Just don’t let your bro’s see them. They will find out who did it.”
“Do they talk about me.”
“Talk about you. They always ask me if i have met you. Leave the sad talk. Are you coming to the trip?”
“What trip?”
“Since the school trip was cancelled some students have organised another trip. Its nit to another planet but it will be worth it.”
“Ancel!” Someone called and she left.
She left but now i had to think about people near me.
Its not just me who was in danger but people around me too.
I went back inside and sam came up to me with Lee and chaz.
Chaz too is a childhood friend.
We all lived together since i was a kid.
“Sorry mate but you are coming to the trip.”
Chaz was the one aboit to pester me this time.
“Yoki and Priz have said to call you. They will take your class.”
“Hahaha.”
“But you have to come. Don’t laugh it out. Everyone will be there. ”
Lee interrupted and said “I am not sure about me.”
Chaz replied “Oh he will come. Sophia will come too. ”
“Are you still?”
“No no Chaz is an idiot.”
“I am an idiot. Look at yourself.”
“Why don’t you get a second mosaic? It will hide the scars. Don’t let any bro see them”
“What a rubbish idea chaz. Do you have any idea how much toll it would take. I think only a single person in our class has it”
“I think i can handle it.” I smiled.
