All through the way to the inn he was still moody with both hands in his pocket whilst being adscent minded about his surroundings.

Skull was a good man even if he doesn’t see himself as one; what he believed him was that no one could be one hundred percent perfect in this world, no matter how hard they might try to be something or rather someone might still be unsatisfied by their act.

He had given up awhile ago from ever caring for others when he was younger, he only wanted to live on his own terms and had zero tolerance to injustice around him; mostly when it had to do with the less privilege even if he didn’t get to meet his parents ever.Full novel: SEALED — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

He was an orphan who grew up in an orphanage home and no single parents ever showed interest of taking him in back then, some who ever had the interest of adopting him saw his sharp eyes and said he lacked fear and innocence which other kids of his age had.

Still Skull never though much of it back then since he was never really looking for a family to take him in, rather he always looked forward to a day when he would be released from the orphanage into the outside world to venture on his own.

Deep down Skull was already aware of the struggles which people have to go through and he has seen someone die with his very eyes which made him lacked the fear and innocence of ordinary children of his age, and he never had any expectation of ever getting adopted ever.

All through his stay in the orphanage; he watched how countless numbers of children were taking home by different people while he stood aside and watched it all from a distance, he grew up into twelve years in the orphanage and the head care taker of the orphanage called him out and brief in on the happenings on the walls outside the orphanage home.

Knowing everything already that was being said, that day he left the orphanage in search for a petty jod which would aid him with all his needs back then since he had already discovered his ability, and he used the easiest form of his ability ( repulsion ) back then at a construction site to help push heavy objects around the site. Through that means he became strong while his ability slowly integrated into what he had now, Skull never had the capability of blaming anyone since he himself wasn’t given the privilege of having a normal life with his parents and he never experienced what family love was, still he learnt the importance of good conscious which made him a better person and encountering Jane did help him a lot.

He walked into the inn and the manager walked forward to greet him while informing him that he had a visitor who requested to see him personally, and Skull only nodded his head solemnly with an unfathomable look in his face whilst following after the inn’s manager who led him towards a room where a young boy sat.

The manager showed Skull the young boy and stepped aside so he could see him, afterwards he whispered a fews into Skull’s ear before he departed back to his post whilst Skull walked into the room and closed the doors behind him and it drew the boys attention, the boy stood up while Skull walked towards a seat and sat down whilst motioning to the boy to seat as well.

The boy did and Skull asked him ** do you have what I want ** and the boy pulled out a file from his jacket and placed it on the table before him, the file was wrapped with a red cloth and the boy unwrapped the cloth while saying with a smile on his face ** it wasn’t easy to get though ,,,,,, but it was a worthy risk ** afterwards he praised himself with a satisfied grin.

Skull didn’t give as much as battered an eyelid at the boy rather he got comfortable in his seat and said solemnly ** go out and the manager would show you your reward ** and the boy smiled widely and said ** pleasure doing business with you ** whilst leaving the room and closing the door on his way out.

Skull pulled out the file and slowly watched the content arranged in the file and he remembered how he saw countless numbers of kid back then who struggled to make alms for daily living, yet not everyone make it through the tough struggle; cause one might be fortunate to have a nice boss while other times get involved with a dangerous group of gangs.

Still it was the fate which many children who were born here had to take since the government were careless about their lives, mostly the unlucky ones who lost their parents to some few disastrous event; Skull skimmed through all the papers which the kid got for him and when he was done with it, he placed it on the table and pulled a drink from the bottle of wine close by.

He took a sip from it and he recalled when he actually had his first conversation with Jane, it wasn’t the day she saw him trashing the elderly man though; but it was when there were at a fight scene between Skull and a very huge man on an afternoon towards a broken Fair’s Park and she happened to saw it and she pleased for the man to let Skull go.

Back then Skull knew the disadvantage he held against the man still he never gave up since the man wanted to oppress him and show his might over him, but seeing the young girl begging for Skull the man became lustful and smiled stupidly while staring at the girl and Skull took that opportunity to strike at his right eye which made the man thrust him into the ground and screamed from the pain, whilst moving towards Skull to inflict terrible pain on him while Skull took that chance to gather all the energy inside him and repelled him far way from him and the man hits is head on a iron and passed out whilst Skull tried catching his breath.

Jane ran towards the man and check his pulse and she breathed a sigh of relive that he wasn’t dead whilst she turned towards Skull and she questioned him why, why was he always fond of causing trouble or getting into fights with elderly or advanced men and if he had a death wish. Skull didn’t reply to her words but only stared at her while looking at her face closely and he saw that the girl was slightly younger than him, with dark red colour hair and a pretty face with a calm temperament which made her look unfitting for the life in Jabe city.

Though not all parts of Jabe city was bad and some places had few number of influential people in the city who resides at those sides, and Skull thought maybe she was from that part of Jabe city which made her very innocent to the different type of people who exist here, and he moved towards her direction whilst she stepped backwards.

Skull made haste forward and arrived before her thereafter pulled her towards himself and they both stood to the side holding each other whilst an iron fell at Jane’s previous spot and she felt dumbfounded at the scene before her very eyes, Jane was dumbstruck in Skull’s arm’s whilst gripping at the sleeves of his shirt and they both felt lost.

Although Skull was from the shabby part of Jabe city were lots of indiscriminate and social vices took place yet he wasn’t an immoral person, and it was his first time holding a girl this close to him in a like manner which sparked a reaction inside him and he was only focused on the girl’s face which was in his arms.

That day marked the very first beginning of their friendship between one another and this friendship grew so much so that it became love, they both supported as well as changed the mindset of each other on their individual perspective of life while growing up into an adults amidst the countless obstacles which they had to face from the society.

The tale of their love wasn’t as long lasting as Skull thought it out to be; couple of hours passed and Skull remained seated in his previous position and he dropped the glass of wine on the table while contemplating on his next move, with the authority which he held, he alone could cause the destruction of Rob’s entire business since he knew the man was a notorious person, still he found no need to make a decision in haste regarding someone’s life sustainer and he took the file back into his hand.
