In the far side of the empire, of Astoria.
Towards the east side of the empire was a very large mountain range.
The place was covered by lots of taller mountains which ranges all over the land, it made the place perfect for hiking.
The huge mountains, open space; and little presence of forestry all over the place.
The mountains range was covered by thick clouds which prevents the sun from releasing it’s ray on the land.
Though it had thick clouds here, still they were still no presence of rain here which further makes the land more mysterious.
These mystery kept inhabitants of the empire as well as tourist from neighbors countries from visiting the mountains.
It was even named “Black Mountain”, along with various fables termed after the mountains which further deter people from thinking about venturing into the mountain.
Amidst the numerous mountain range in the setting, was a very dark mountain with steep slopes; as well as sharp ridges.
Situated at the far end of the land, away from other mountains around the setting.
Which could hurt if someone missed their steps when climbing it or falls from the peak, along with countless sloping side; with a very high peak.
The mountains has a cave at the center of it, which was covered by a very huge gate, it has always been closed each time.
Though the sun doesn’t shine here and the rest of the land looks desolated, still this particular mountain amongst the rest was kept highly guarded.
With lots of security agent who’s set here to always keep the place guarded at all times.
The reason why, was unknown by the guards; since the pay was very nice for only watching a mountain which they weren’t certain of its hidden secrets.
The time line was never really known here, since the sun doesn’t shone on the land to aid effective awareness of the timeline.
Though countless studies have been made to effectively calculate the timeline here, to help workers here regulate their working hours.
Since the amount of time spent guarding the gates from all sides of the mountain was six hours each.

A sound of a huge bell was being heard all over the mountains, the bell was located at the very center of this mountain itself.
The essence of this arrangement, was to signal those in charge of switching duties with their partners here, who were at work already.
To move towards their destined post, in commencement of their duties already.
Two men stood outside the mountain gates, whilst watching the dark valley and feeling the cold breeze of the night.
** I can’t believe I signed up as a security agent, only to end up here; where I have to guide a mountain from being attacked by other mountains**.
A man in his late thirties spoke with an unsatisfied tone, which made his colleagues to look at him with a known grin on his face.
** now that’s sarcasm ** the other man said, which made his colleagues more distance towards him while they both stood up from their seat.
** yeah, you are always the most rational with your job,,,, ** the first man said while trailing off on his speech.
Not far from them, was an approaching footsteps of two other men walking towards them; with thick coat, along with a medium sized bag in their hands.
** congrat for making it through the day, pal ** a young man in his late twenties said: with glasses on, while dropping the bags on the ground.
** yeah yeah, make fun of me for always wanting betterment for myself ** the first man said with seemingly dramatic look, like a drama queen.
** alright you guys should take care, we would be heading inside for a rest ** the second man said while putting on a torch and he picked up his bag.
ROAAAAAAAAR ROAAAAAAR ROAAAAR
The sudden sound, which came from the depth of the mountain; caused the four men to still on their tracks while observing the surrounding.
** what was that ???
The youngest man amongst them asked the other two who they were replacing, whilst his colleague flashed a torch around their assigned area.
Since certain parts of the mountain was given to various guards to watch over, at various times at each given hours.
** I’m not certain, myself ** the second man answered him while he continued ** though we have reported this issue to the head in charge.

** and I thought we were made to guide an empty mountain ** the first man said in a shaky tone, which made the others to laugh at his act while he’s colleague pulled him along with him.
The second man turned around and said ** alright you guys should take care, we would see you guys after your shift ** while he walked towards the entrance along with his partner.
** sure officer** the younger man said while making a salutation towards the retreating back of his colleagues.
All through the conversation, his partner remained quiet while arranging his stuff from the bag.
Deep down, amidst the mountain was a very dark cage with lots of iron doors and rods made to form a locked cell in the very end of the mountain.
The end of it was very dark with lots of rocks and stones, which made the place cramped and unfitted for any life form.
Amidst the darkness was a silhouette of a man in very thick chains, all around him; he’s head was down which prevents his eyes and face from being seen.
He had scars all over his body, with physique of a giant and very long dark hair, along with long beards.
He breathed out slowly amidst his countless chains which was placed around him, which was a surprise how he could be alive; since not even the guards know of his imprisonment here.
He yelled out again with a deep voice
Roaaaaaar Roaaaaaar Roaaaaaar!!!!!
Which was his only means of expressing his frustration of being chained like a dog here, whereas the one who chained him was already dead by now.
Arriving at the lounge which was set in place for the guards to rest after their duty comes to an end, the two men got to their assigned quarter.

The first man asked again with a perplexed tone, but this time he was much inquisitive to know what he colleague knew.
** not much, made a wide species of animals who could only survive in this part of the land ** his colleague said while lying on his bed.
** I’m still not certain about that, cause we’ve been here for three years and we didn’t hear it till now ** he said now staring at his colleague has laid on his bed closely.

A pillow was thrown at him, ** just go to sleep already; a couple of hours from now you could worry about that ** the man said while raising his hands upward and the light in the room dim down.
