Silent, absolute silent, there was no noise nor was there any thoughts, until there was.

The sound of waves entered the left ear of the man, although he didn’t know of the concept of direction.

The man felt a feeling of sand touching his body and a slight breeze washing over him.Full novel: Seeking oneself (first version) — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

In response the man continued laying motionless on the sand for he did not know of movement and he didn’t know of living.

But eventually his natural curiosity moved him to move.

The entire thing was extremely difficult for the man didn’t have experience and didn’t yet had any sense other than touch and sound.

The man relied entirely on his movement, from one direction there was sand and in a another there was wind with the sound of waves constantly ringing in his ear.

Although the man did not know of fear he did his absolute best to try to distance himself from the sound.

The further away the man crawled from the [Sea] and the deeper he went onto the [Land] the more weak he felt.

He felt himself slowly losing his immortality and Infinity become a Finite mortal.

But in return the man gained further thought and weight.

Eventually after crawling a unknown distance the man felt that the area in front of his thoughts had suddenly increased in weight.

After some tries the man was able to open his eyes.

The first thing the man saw was white.

Endless white sand was below him.

In front of him was a endless black land whose ending he couldn’t see.

But behind him was a sight that the man would never forget.

Countless near infinite white strange creatures were laying on the white land, some of them were desperately moving towards the land but the majority of them layed motionless on the beginning of the [Land] being the closest to that black and white sea.

The closer a white creature was to the [Land] the smaller and more defined they become.

The countless monasteries on the end of the [Sea] and beginning of the [Land] we’re all massive indescribable shapes of whiteness.

Those a head of them were only slightly better with most of them only moving through wriggling towards the [Land] away from the [Sea].

The man did not know how he looked like but through seeing the white creatures close to him he guessed that he had a head and a torso.

Although he couldn’t be sure how he looked like because every creature was slightly unique with some of them even looking like plants and fungus.

And so the man continued wriggling towards the [Land].

Slowly losing more of his mass but gaining more and more definition.

Through his endless journey the man gained a mouth, a nose, a throat, colour, and a hand.

With the hand the man was able to make great progress with shorter time but the most important thing was his lungs.

It was at the moment where he almost completely escaped the [Sea] with the man at his weakest that he obtain his lungs and with them the feeling of hunger.

At first the man didn’t know what he was supposed to do to make that feeling go away until he opened his mouth and breath in through both his mouth and nose.

The feeling was painful, another new sensation.

But the man continued devouring the wind until his lungs were full, and then the man was forced to release the air before quickly stealing it back.

Bit by bit the man developed breathing gaining more and more energy and for the first time growing after his escaped from the [Sea].
