Chief Gordon took a slow step forward toward the black iron gates.

Richard Ross claims you kidnapped this young woman last night.
Please open these iron gates immediately so my police officers can investigate this serious matter.”

Chief Gordon took the white paper from Lawyer Vance Jenkins.
Chief Gordon adjusted his glasses with his left hand.

Richard Ross shook his head wildly in disbelief.

Your family has zero money left.”
Brad Harrison’s face turned completely white.
Brad Harrison fell backward against the blue side of a police car.
Brad Harrison screamed to Richard Ross, “Richard!
We are completely ruined!

Chief Gordon turned his body toward Richard Ross and Brad Harrison.
Chief Gordon looked very angry at the two men.
Chief Gordon said to Richard Ross, “Mr.
Ross, you brought five official police cars to a billionaire’s private estate based on a complete lie.
You filed a false police report to my officers.
Filing a false police report is a serious criminal offense.”
Richard Ross began to sweat heavily from his forehead.
Richard Ross raised both of his hands in the air.

Please do not arrest me!”
Chief Gordon shouted to the other police officers, “Put Richard Ross and Brad Harrison into the back of the police cars right now.
We are leaving this property immediately.”
Two strong police officers grabbed Richard Ross by his grey arms.
Two other police officers grabbed Brad Harrison by his blue blazer.
The police officers forced the two villains into the hard back seats of the police cars.
Chief Gordon turned back to Damien Vance and Evelyn Ross.
Chief Gordon tipped his blue police hat forward with respect.
Chief Gordon said to Damien Vance, “I apologize for the disturbance, Mr.
Vance.
Have a good morning.”
Damien Vance said to Chief Gordon, “Thank you, Chief Gordon.
Drive safely.”
The five police cars turned on their loud sirens.
The police cars drove away down the private dark road very quickly.
The loud siren sounds faded into the quiet distance.
Evelyn Ross let out a long breath of relief.
Evelyn Ross smiled gently at Damien Vance.
Evelyn Ross said to Damien Vance, “They are gone.
Your clever plan worked perfectly, Mr.

Damien Vance did not smile back at Evelyn Ross.

Suddenly, a loud ringing sound came from inside Damien Vance’s black suit jacket.
Damien Vance pulled out a slim silver satellite phone from his pocket.
The satellite phone showed an unknown phone number on the digital screen.
Damien Vance pressed the green button to answer the incoming call.
Damien Vance pressed the speakerphone button so Evelyn Ross could hear the audio clearly.
Damien Vance said into the silver phone, “Who is calling my private line?”
A loud, mocking laugh came out of the phone speaker.
The dark voice belonged to his ultimate rival, Julian Sterling.
Julian Sterling said to Damien Vance, “Good morning, Damien.
Did you enjoy the little morning show with the police force at your front gate?”
Damien Vance tightened his strong grip on the silver phone.
Damien Vance said to Julian Sterling, “Your little trick failed completely, Sterling.
Evelyn Ross is legally engaged to me.
The police cannot touch my property.”
Julian Sterling laughed even louder over the loud speakerphone.
Julian Sterling said to Damien Vance, “You think a piece of paper can save her from my power, Damien?
You are being very naive.
Tell Evelyn Ross to look closely at the blue sapphire necklace inside your private wooden desk right now.”
Evelyn Ross felt her heart freeze inside her chest.
Evelyn Ross moved much closer to the silver phone.

There is no microchip inside it.

The phone call disconnected with a loud click sound.
