A few minutes later, the crowd started to get rowdy as the sleepers whispered among themselves, though their voices were far too loud to truly be called whispering.
"Im-impossible!" a sleeper with a huge build stammered, while the shorter but quite handsome man beside him shouted, "What kind of monsters are they?!?"
"Isn't this a bit too many?!?"
"This has to be a joke," a skinny man with glasses said as he looked at the ranking again, adjusting his frames in disbelief.
"What is this? The golden generation?" a woman with neck-length brown hair muttered in a confused tone.
Nearly everyone murmured in agreement with her point.
On the list of the top 10 sleepers of this generation were:
A guy with crimson-red hair, his young face set in a boastful expression.
10. Elijah — Aspect Rank: Ascendant
A woman with neck-length brown hair.
9. Trisha — Aspect Rank: Ascendant
A guy with messy black hair.
8. Eril Durian — Aspect Rank: Ascendant
A guy with magenta hair that reached his neck.
7. Terion — Aspect Rank: Ascendant
A guy with brown hair and green eyes.
6. Caster Han Li — Aspect Rank: Transcendent
A rather cute woman with long blonde hair and blue eyes.
5. Cassia — Aspect Rank: Sacred
A beautiful woman with black hair reaching her shoulders.
4. Aurelia— Aspect Rank: Sacred
A gorgeous young woman with long pink hair and pointed ears.
3. Elysia — True Name: Everlasting Love
A silver-haired woman.
2. Nephis — True Name: Changing Star
A man wearing a featureless yellow and black mask.
1. Senrix — True Name: Avatar of Apocalypse
"Wait… Aren't you the one in the top 9? Trisha?" the man next to the girl who had previously mentioned the 'golden generation' asked, glancing at her.
"And here I thought I was going to be in the top 5. Yes, I am," Trisha replied with a sigh as she went back to her table to finish her remaining food.
"More importantly, how does that blind woman have a sacred aspect?!?!" a black-haired, fairly chubby-faced guy shouted, pointing at the blonde woman who was eating quietly Infront of a black-haired boy.
"You have a sacred aspect?" Sunny asked, unsure whether to be more impressed or overwhelmed. In just one day, he'd already seen four true name holders, including himself, gather in one place.
Cassie only nodded, her attention drawn to the pink-haired woman who was hugging her sides while she ate.
"My Cassie is so cute~" Elysia said in a sweet, teasing tone as she pinched the blonde seer's cheek.
"Please stop, Elysia, I'm getting embarrassed…" Cassie shrank back, feeling the gazes of multiple people turn in her direction.
"Hehehe, I mean, look at little Sunless here, he isn't even embarrassed by what I'm doing." As Elysia said that, Sunless gave her a deadpan stare before replying in an annoyed tone, "You threatened to punch me if I disturbed your cuddling time."
"I didn't hear anything. Did you hear anything, Cassie?" Elysia asked, turning to the poor blind seer who was being teased mercilessly by the pink-haired elf.
Cassie could only shake her head.
If she disagreed with this 'loving' woman's opinion, she might just get teased even more.
"Why is he so damn lucky? Sitting with two beautiful women like that! And one of them literally has a true name! It should have been me, not him!" A guy with slick black hair muttered loudly to himself, earning disgusted looks from the girls and approving nods from the boys.
'So, the two of them from earlier, Nephis and Senrix, and also... this pointy-eared woman had all received a True Name in their First Nightmare.'
To get his own, Sunny had to deal with Hero and the Mountain King while possessing a completely useless Aspect, an impossible feat that seemed to have pleased the Spell very much.
'I wonder how they got theirs.'
The sleepers in the cafeteria were struck dumb by the revelation of this achievement.
They stared at the screen with astonishment, fear, and admiration.
Listening to their excited whispers, Sunny felt a childish desire to scream, "Me too! I have one too!" But, of course, he kept quiet.
Looking around, he noticed Eril's gaze fixed on the screen. There was a strange, somber expression on the otherwise humorous young man's face.
But the weird thing about it was that, as far as Sunny could tell, Eril wasn't looking at the lines of text containing the True Names.
Instead, he was staring at the lines that read "Nephis" and "Senrix," as though their actual names held more meaning to him than the ones given by the Spell.
'Interesting. Do they know each other?'
'Why would a lofty Legacy know someone who came to the Academy in a police-issued tracksuit and a casual-looking guy? And speaking of Nephis and Senrix… where were they?'
Sunny glanced around the cafeteria and quickly spotted the silver-haired girl and the masked guy.
Nephis was sitting quietly in a corner with a cup of coffee in her hands.
She wasn't paying much attention to the commotion, seemingly immersed in her thoughts.
Her grey eyes were serious and distant.
Senrix, meanwhile, was drinking water from a bottle, seemingly done eating.
From the mountain of trays stacked on the side of his table, it looked like he had eaten quite a lot.
"Three Sleepers with a True Name? That's impossible!"
"It's technically possible. Smile of Heaven received her True Name in the First Nightmare, I think. But yeah, I'm doubtful…"
"Maybe they lied in the interview?"
"Are you stupid? If it were that easy to deceive the administrators, the crazy pervert from yesterday would have been in first place instead!"
Sunny's face twitched. 'Crazy pervert, huh…'
"Well, why don't we just ask them?"
Suddenly, there was a deafening silence in the cafeteria. Following the suggestion, the Sleepers stopped talking and turned around, staring at Nephis.
No one seemed to have the courage to approach her first.
And when they looked at Senrix, the laid-back guy with a mask, even though he was sitting across from Nephis, he didn't exude any air of respect or authority. If anything, he gave off the aura of a carefree person, but looking at his true name sometimes shattered that image.
And as for Elysia? Someone had tried to approach her. He wasn't just ignored, he was insulted.
No one at the table where she sat even bothered to look at him.
Except maybe Sunny himself.
Finally sensing something, Nephis raised her eyes and looked at them with surprise.
"Mmm. What?"
Even the blind girl, Cassia, who was practically being harassed by Elysia, turned in the direction of her voice.
After a couple of moments, Caster suddenly walked over and gave a small bow.
"Lady Nephis, Lord Senrix. I am Caster from the Han Li clan. I see that the trials you two experienced went well?"
'Lady? Lord? Why is he addressing them that way? And he had to introduce himself… so, they don't know each other? Interesting.' Sunny silently watched, waiting to see what would happen.
Nephis seemed to be a little perplexed by the question. After thinking for a while, she smiled brightly and shrugged.
"It is what it is."
Caster awkwardly returned the smile. "I see. I am very glad that you returned unharmed. Uh… not that I doubted your abilities."
Nephis nodded. "Thank you." After that, she returned to her coffee, indicating that the conversation was over, or perhaps she was simply oblivious to everyone's attention.
"Oh hey, have we met before, Caster boy?" Senrix's voice rang out in everyone's ears.
It wasn't laced with arrogance; rather, it carried genuine curiosity about who Caster might be.
"Hahaha, we have indeed met before, Lord Senrix," Caster replied in his ever-respectful tone, drawing stunned gazes from the other legacies nearby.
"Oh! I remember now! You're that young kid who was walking alongside Lady Demeter back then! You were quite cute as a kid. It seems like Lady Demeter and Lord Han Li didn't raise a lazy guy. I remember your clan being a vassal clan under the Great Clan Song, right?"
"Yes, you are indeed correct, Lord Senrix." Caster glanced at the other Sleepers who were legacies like him and said in his respectful tone, "I need to leave now, Lord Senrix, as I need to talk about something with my friends."
As soon as Caster said that, Senrix laughed lightly and replied, "Go now, boy. Having comrades is better than having none at all. I learned it the hard way during my first nightmare."
Caster bowed as soon as Senrix finished speaking, expressed his appreciation for the small exchange, and walked toward the group of legacies not far from them.

A/N: for information, Elysia here is the real Elysia, not a transmigrator, obviously she lost all her power and stuff.
And everything here is not a mistake, i deliberately did all of it, including: Cassia's reveal of her aspect rank, Caster having a transcendent aspects, Eril durian and etc like that.
Everyone on the ranking will probably important later on in the story specially the top 8
Instead of one assassin, there is two now, which is sent by none other than the king of swords.
I will change a LOT about the history, like how broken sword "die". (Yes that's a deliberate wording too)
