Classes Begin
~Narrator~
Euphoria was dressed in a long black skirt and a tucked-in long white-sleeved top that gathered around her chest and tightened at the wrists.
Her floral corset wrapped around her waist, hugging her figure perfectly.
She braided her hair and tied a white ribbon at the end.
“No.
Don’t you dare.
Take your braid out right now and let your hair fall down your back.”
Clara walked over, untied the ribbon from her hair, and her waves fell loosely over her shoulders and down her back.
“Your hair is effortlessly perfect.
What products do you use?”
“Some things I made myself.
It’s cheaper to make your own, and I often sold my leftovers for extra money.”
“I will buy some from you,” Clara demanded, her voice high and urgent.
It was the prettiest hair she’d ever seen, and there was no way someone’s hair could naturally be that perfect.
“Oh, um…
I’m sorry, but I don’t really have much left, and I don’t know if I can find the ingredients I need to make another batch.
I’m sorry.” She whispered quietly, feeling terrible.
She hadn’t had a chance to buy supplies and make more before being brought to the academy.
If she had known, she would have stopped by the store and searched for the right flowers and plants.
“Make me a list.
I’ll get them for you,” Clara insisted.
Euphoria nodded.
“Okay, I’d be happy to do that for you.”
She tilted her head to the side and smiled the kind of genuine, sweet smile only a child could have.
“Gosh, you’re adorable.”
Clara skipped away, grabbing her bag.
Everyone headed toward the door.
Euphoria had her course books, a notebook, and an ink pen packed neatly inside her torn and tattered knapsack as she followed behind them.
She still couldn’t believe how lucky she was to have such good friends.
Her first class didn’t have any of her new friends in it.
She was in a mixed class.
Apparently, that meant students of all ages, which made her nervous.
She reached for the doorknob but paused, holding it in her grip.
She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
Twisting the knob.
Just as she was about to pull the door open, a hand flew past hers.
She felt the presence of someone step up behind her.
It was warm.
Yet familiar.
The air around her stilled.
A heavy aura pressed down on her, thickening the air and making it hard to breathe.
The sheer power radiating from the person behind her was oppressive.
“We meet again, my pretty pet.”
Her breath hitched.
She turned around to face him.
She saw one of the most beautiful faces she’d ever seen.
It was him.
The blue-haired man from the ship.
Prince Artemis.
The blue-haired man who had visited her aboard the ship.
He was even more handsome up close.
He took a step closer.
She took a step back.
Her blood drummed loudly in her ears from the fast, erratic beating of her heart.
Her back pressed against the door, his body only inches from hers, using his size to block any hope of escape.
“Wow…” she muttered accidentally out loud.
“How can anyone be so beautiful?”
Her eyes widened, and both of her hands flew to her mouth.
Oh my goddess, I thought I said that in my head.
How embarrassing.
She wanted a hole in the ground to open up and swallow her whole.
He chuckled.
“Oh, um…
hello.
Do you have this class too?” she asked politely.
“Yes.
In fact, I do.”
She was the whole reason he was taking this class.
He leaned in closer to her, his face now only inches from hers.
Inhaling the sweet scent of spring that seemed to cling to her.
He needed to be close to her.
He couldn’t wait much longer to make her his.
He couldn’t wait too much longer to take her to his bed and find out exactly how tight her little pussy was.
He had never been so obsessed with a girl before.
Ever since her picture had appeared on the broadcast, he hadn’t been able to stop thinking about her.
She was irresistible.
He bent down until his lips brushed against her ear.
His warm breath tickled her skin, and the hairs on the back of her neck stood on end. Read this novel at g.com for the best experience.
It should have been because of alarm bells.
But to her surprise…
There were none.
It was anticipation.
“You’ll be sitting next to me, my pet.”
“I don’t understand why you’re calling me your pet.
My name is Euphoria, remember?” she asked, genuinely confused by what was happening.
Why had this man trapped her against the door?
She clutched her dress nervously, feeling as though she were running out of air.
“You understand what I’m saying, correct?” he asked, raising an eyebrow.
She nodded.
She did.
English was the only language she’d ever spoken.
“Then you know what a pet is.”
She frowned.
Ria didn’t like the idea of anyone considering her a pet.
She was a person.
He gently gripped her chin, lifting it until her face met his.
“You, Euphoria Ri-chan, belong to the Prince of Dragons.”
His gaze never left hers.
“And soon everyone will know.”
She gulped.
First the Fox Prince.
Now the Dragon Prince?
She stared at him in disbelief.
He was so close now that his warm breath brushed against her lips.
Her mind drew a blank.
Her words caught in her throat, and her train of thought seemed stuck at the station.
His dragon roared inside him.
Not with anger.
With need.
With an overwhelming desire for the comfort and peace she brought him.
Aemion was desperate to have her close, perhaps even more so than Artemis himself.
For as long as he could remember, Aemion had never known peace.
Rage had always simmered beneath the surface, exhausting him day after day.
It was the most familiar feeling he’d ever known, just as it was for all beasts.
The raging animal inside them never truly calmed.
Not until he met her.
