One hundred thousand skill points should be enough for me to trade for a ruler skill.
What should I trade for?
I need to think about this carefully.
First, rule out Arrogance, Sloth, and Endurance; those belong to my wife, and changing them would cause a huge butterfly effect.
Next, rule out Temperance, Gluttony, and Diligence—these three are already owned, so trading for them would only grant the skills without the titles, which is a complete rip-off.
Redemption is a pure healer and has little use here, so rule it out; Envy can only seal one skill indefinitely, which isn’t very useful either, so rule it out.
Charity resurrects teammates using souls, but the restrictions are too heavy.
It can revive someone with minor wounds, but if they’re blown to smithereens, headshot, or missing vital organs, what the hell is the use?
Losing half a body should probably work, though.
If I actually traded for it, wouldn’t I end up shouting, “Revive! My wife!” But my wife is small, and the creatures in the labyrinth are huge.
If my wife actually died, there’s a 98% chance she’d be reduced to pieces, so rule it out.
Purity is just a shield, rule it out.
Now only Greed, Lust, and Humility are left.
Humility burns the soul in exchange for power, and since I have Soul Nullification, wouldn’t that mean I can use it without side effects?
But I’m not sure if the system imposes any restrictions.
Lust is brainwashing; it can modify the target’s subconscious and make them follow me forever, so that way I could lead an army of monsters to level up for me.
Greed kills the target and plunders a portion of their stats and skills, giving off a feeling of becoming a king on one’s own.
Emmmm, compared to burning my life or leading a massive army, I prefer working solo.
I want to become a person righteous to the point of evil, just like General Duanmu—Spider.
“System, I want to learn ‘Greed’.”
[Ah?]
“Acquire the Greed skill, 98,000 skill points required”
“Remaining skill points: 99,900”
“Do you wish to learn?”
“Yes.”

“A-nasayo, Classmate Juri, what’s wrong? Say something, Classmate Juri! Oh no, Classmate Juri, you couldn’t have shut yourself in due to not accepting that you reincarnated as a spider, right? Don’t do this! Classmate Juri, pull yourself together!”
“Ah! What shutting yourself in, where is there a spider? Shiro—Classmate Wakaba, what happened while I was zoning out just now?”
“That’s great, Classmate Juri didn’t shut herself in after all! Fantastic ^ 0 ^ ~” Saying that, Kumoko used her two front legs to clamp onto Hina’s head and shook it back and forth.
“Classmate Wakaba, you—”
“That’s right, Classmate Juri, while you were shut in just now, I tested Appraisal-neesan’s ability and found out that Appraisal-neesan is so weak and completely useless! If you don’t believe me, look, this is a rock, and Appraisal-neesan’s result just shows ‘rock’—it’s totally not what I imagined at all!”
Kumoko held a stone in her hand and gestured in front of Hina.
Under the effect of the filter, Kumoko’s expression and appearance were magnified and cutified, practically acting like eye candy for Hina.
Comical and cute, Hina said consolingly, “Relax, Classmate Wakaba, didn’t you see that the Appraisal level we learned is only level 1? That’s why it’s like this. If you properly raise its proficiency, this skill will become omniscient and omnipotent one day.”
After Hina appraised all the objects around her that could be appraised, Appraisal leveled up to 2.
Next was time to properly explore this Elroe Labyrinth.
On the way, Kumoko discovered human footprints, and happily hurried to run in the direction of the footprints.
As she ran, she thought about communicating with humans after meeting them, having them take her out, and then becoming companions, completely forgetting her current identity.
Hina hurriedly chased behind.
She ran, she chased, she couldn’t catch up.
“Wakaba, wait a second, wait for me.” This won’t do; my wife’s innate skill is running fast, how could I possibly keep up?
Wait, innate skill?
Innate skill!
How could I forget about innate skills?
I remember every reincarnator was arranged with a cheat skill by the Evil God D, so what is my innate skill?
Forget about all that for now; wife, wait for me!
Excited, she accelerated her speed, having already prepared what to say after meeting them in her mind.
As a result, the scene that followed horrified her.
Three ordinary-looking humans in equipment were seen cruelly killing their own kind and beginning to dissect the corpse to take loot.
Seeing that the situation was bad, Kumoko intended to slip away quietly.
Unfortunately, she kicked a stone, and the resulting sound attracted the attention of the three people.
“I didn’t expect there to be one more hiding here; this time we’ve got a bit more money.” The swordsman adventurer licked his lips and said greedily.
The archer adventurer drew his bow toward Kumoko.
Seeing that things were going badly, Kumoko hurriedly ran backward, right into the arriving Hina.
“Classmate Juri, run quickly, someone is going to kill a spider!” As soon as those words fell, an arrow brushed past Kumoko’s back, leaving a wound on her back.
“Ah! Pain, pain, pain! Run quickly!” Feeling the pain, Kumoko immediately quickened her pace to flee for her life.
Seeing Kumoko injured, Hina’s heart was ignited by fury as she coldly swept her gaze across the three people in front of her.
“Damn it, she could run that fast, missed the shot. But now another one has come.”
“Standing still without moving, must have been scared stupid. Great, then just surrender obediently!”
“Big Brother, we should still be careful. I feel like something is off with this spider’s situation.” The shield adventurer raised his shield and turned serious.
“What are you afraid of, Third Brother? This spider has already been scared stupid by us, how could she—” Just as those words finished, a Wind Blade decapitated the swordsman adventurer, and at the same time, the shield adventurer’s head as well.
The archer adventurer witnessed with his own eyes as Hina instantly constructed two Wind Magic circles and instantaneously fired two Wind Blades to harvest her own teammates.
Scared until his legs went soft, terror spread from his toes to the crown of his head.
His hands shook as he dropped his weapon, and just as he was about to run, a sharp pain came from his feet—another Wind Blade cut off both of his legs.
“Ah! My legs! Mommy! My legs, help, help! Murder, murde—” Before he could finish his words, the archer adventurer’s HP value dropped to zero and he died.
This was the merit of <Wither>.
Hina originally intended to properly “take care” of him, but because of <Wither>, he suffered a “huge loss”.
