“So you are the seniors that gave Harry some trouble earlier, huh?… Mhm. Well, thank you for waiting.”
Andrew’s voice drifted through the vast, hollow darkness of the warehouse before his physical form even emerged from the gloom.
The sound was low, level, and carried an unhurried, rhythmic cadence that turned the damp air to ice.
The boys stiffened instantly, their shoulders locking as their heads snapped toward the western corridor.
Each measured step echoed through the abandoned warehouse as Andrew approached them.
Slow.
Deliberate.
And unhurried.
The kind of walk a man took when he already knew how the night would end.
“You guys…” Andrew tilted his head slightly to the left, his dark eyes fixed on the leader’s split lip—the parting gift Harry had left him.
“Do you know why I’ve tolerated worthless failures like you at my academy?”
No one answered.
His smile widened.
Stepping closer into their perimeter, his hands buried deep within the pockets of his dark trousers.
And behind him, looming like a mountain of tailored wool, stood Bob, his massive arms folded, his face a completely blank sheet of stone.
“Let me rephrase that for your limited intellect. Do you know why I allowed repeaters, troublemakers, and delinquents to keep breathing the same clean air as my tuition-paying noble students? Why I didn’t have your names removed from the registry the moment you failed all your terms?”
The weight of the atmosphere became unbearable.
The leader of the seniors, his knees trembling violently beneath his stained commoner’s trousers, suddenly buckled.
He dropped hard onto the concrete, his palms hitting the floor as the leader immediately dropped to his knees.
“Sir Andrew… we know,” the leader stammered, his voice cracking as he stared at Andrew’s polished shoes.
“We know. You’ve always been… generous to us. You’ve looked the other way during our trouble making.”
“Generous?” Andrew let out a quiet, rich laugh that rattled the high iron girders above them.
It was a sound far more frightening than any shouted command.
“Is that truly what you call it, boy?”
Andrew’s gaze swept across the five of them, analyzing the dirt on their collars, the sweat pooling at their temples.
“Was it generosity? Or did you idiots actually convince yourselves that you were irreplaceable to our little late-night operations? Did you think the organization couldn’t find another set of hands to clear out the trash?”
The boys lowered their heads until their chins touched their collarbones.
None dared to answer.
None dared to breathe.
Andrew stopped directly in front of the kneeling leader, his tall frame blocking out the moonlight.
“You know exactly who Harry is.”
Silence hovered heavily.
“You know he’s one of the mainline heirs of this country alongside my family.”
Still silence.
“And you know he’s the father of my only child, my beautiful daughter Lolleta.”
The temperature in the room seemed to drop by ten degrees.
The air entering their lungs felt sharp, thin, and scarce.
“And despite knowing all of that…” Andrew’s voice softened, dropping into a gentle, almost intimate whisper that made the hair on the back of the leader’s neck stand up.
“…—you commoners still put your filthy hands on him.”
“Sir, we were only joking!” one of the boys from the back blurted out, his terror overriding his common sense as he took a frantic step forward.
“We thought—we thought you hated him and—”
*CRACK.*
The sound of the slap was massive, a single, violent report that echoed off the brick walls like a rifle shot.
The boy’s head snapped sideways, his entire body simply collapsing to the floor.
Andrew slowly lowered his hand.
He didn’t even look at the boy on the floor.
“I don’t remember giving you permission to speak,” Andrew said softly, his tone completely conversational.
The boy on the ground clutched his face, a low, wet whimper escaping his teeth as he rolled onto his stomach, blood beginning to mix with the stagnant dirt beneath him.
“Telling me what you thought is not the same as answering my question.”
Andrew crouched down, balancing his weight on the balls of his feet until his face was level with the kneeling leader and his eyes remaining fixed on the boy across him.
Even kneeling, the boy couldn’t bring himself to meet those dark, frozen hazel eyes.
“What gave you the right?”
“S-Sir…”
“What gave you the right to decide what happened to Harry?, What gave you the right to touch him?….and to fucking lust for him?”
No answer came.
The leader’s lower lip shook, his chest heaving as he stared at the concrete floor.
Andrew nodded slowly, a look of profound, clinical understanding crossing his features.
“Exactly.”
He stood back up in one fluid, effortless motion, smoothing down the front of his blazer.
“The moment you involved yourselves in something that belongs to me, you crossed a line you never had permission to approach.”
“—And beating him up like that, do you call that playing?”
“N–…No…Sir!, we were wrong I’m sorry!, it was all my fault.”
“It was your fault indeed and right now I’ll be the one playing with you.”
The leader began trembling so hard his knuckles knocked against the stone.
“We were wrong. Sir Andrew… we were wrong.”
“You were.”
“We’re sorry. We’re so sorry.”
“I know.”
Andrew’s small, lopsided smile returned, sudden and terrifying.
“And unfortunately for you, being sorry doesn’t make consequences disappear.”
The boys exchanged terrified, desperate glances and Andrew casually reached up, unbuttoning the silver links of his uniform blazer.
He slipped the heavy, tailored garment off his shoulders and handed it backward without looking.
Bob caught it instantly, draping it over his forearm with practiced efficiency.
Along with his cane.
As much as he leg slightly limped, it never got on his way of fighting, especially a one sided fight as this one.
Just then Bob handed over the well decorated hatchet1, it seemingly was one of Andrew’s favourite personal weapons.
He had specific weapons either to kill his enemies or to discipline his subordinates or sometimes for amusement.
But tonight he has specially picked the hatchet to deal with these delinquents.
And the boys entirely freaked out after seeing the hatchet.
“Sir Andrew…” The leader’s voice cracked.
“Please. Give us another chance. We’ll do anything”
Andrew stared at him for several long seconds.
Then, Andrew chuckled.
The sound was low, dry, and it made every single boy freeze in their tracks.
“A chance?” Andrew asked, tilting his head.
“You had a chance.”
He extended a long, elegant arm, pointing his index finger toward the dark, narrow entrance of the warehouse lane.
“It was the exact moment you saw Harry walking alone earlier.”
Nobody spoke.
The boy on the floor had stopped whimpering, staring up at the ceiling with wide, unblinking eyes.
“You could have walked away,” Andrew said, taking a slow step to the left, his shoes clicking against the stone.
“You could have minded your own business and passed him,” he added, taking another step, circling the three boys who remained standing against the wood.
“You could have remembered your place in the hierarchy of this institution.”
The leader’s breathing became ragged, a wet, choking sound as the true nature of his situation finally settled into his bones.
Andrew stopped directly before him once more, his shadow completely enveloping the kneeling boy.
“But you didn’t.”
The silence stretched.
Heavy, oppressive and unbearable.
Finally, Andrew smiled down at them.
A smile cold, cruel and final.
“So now you’ll learn something that every commoner in this place should understand before they even think about entering our gates.”
The boy’s eyes widened and Andrew leaned closer.
Much closer.
“In this academy, your future exists because I allow it.” His voice dropped to a whisper.
“And the moment I stop allowing it…everything of yours disappears completely.”
“You… you are their leader right?, you are the one that instigated the others to do what you did to Harry isn’t it?” Andrew asked, his voice still cool and collected as he narrowed his gaze down to the kneeling boy.
“YES!, YES! HE DID SIR ANDREW, HE IS THE ONE THAT MADE US D–”
Andrew didn’t wait for him to finish his words, he stretched his long arm and sent the hatchet flying right across the leaders face by a hair’s breadth.
Andrew swayed the hatchet straight into the middle of the other boy’s forehead and the boy screamed in agony, causing the others beside him to flinch, trembling hard on their boots.
“Shut up, I wasn’t talking to you. Fucking loud rat.” Andrew growled before pulling back his hatchet from being stuck in the senior boy’s forehead and that wasn’t the end of it.
He swayed it again, not once, not twice but consecutively, with blood splattering on the others and they could only watch the horrific scene unfold right in front of them and with their fingers crossed in prayer.
Their nerves were shot from fear and the silence of the base didn’t help at all.
Instead Andrew groaning as he swayed the hatchet to the boys head only grew louder, along with the squelching flesh as blood sprayed all over the place and splattered to every direction of the base.
The more Andrew butchered this boy alive, severing his limbs and eventually slicing open his chest.
The cries of agony slowly faded along with every cut that followed.
But Andrew didn’t stop, he kept on going with a wide, satisfied grin plastered on his face.
And the horrifying scene he made only proved to ease his worries and pent up stress.
Nothing else.
No fear, no mercy and definitely no regret.
Just then, underneath Andrew’s cruelty, the boy’s body went limp as his corpse fell face down on the floor with blood pooling all over him and around them.
His eyes rolled to the back of his head, bloodshot and filled with remnant tears. Read this novel at g.com for the best experience.
The underling was immediately dead.
Andrew huffed with a satisfied chuckle as he swayed the hatchet slightly to splatter the blood from it and it dropped on the floor.
The boys kept their eyes on the hatchet and with only one thought racing their minds.
‘We fucked up….and now we’re going to die for that very insignificant trouble we caused.’
“So–…”
Andrew pushed back his hair from his forehead and then he smirked down at the boys, with that dirty grin of his, full of malice.
“—are you finally going to answer me?… are you their leader or not?” Andrew crouched down and squatted in front of the boy with his arms dangling above his knees.
The bloody hatchet deliberately dancing in his hand.
The kneeling boy gulped down the last bit of his saliva, shivering.
“Y-yes Sir…..I-..I am the one that instigated the others to help me mess with Harry.”
“Good then, I’ll keep you alive.” Andrew mocked with a chuckle and the boy quickly looked up Andrew in disbelief but with a faint sense of hope.
But even before he could speak up to thank Andrew, Andrew just smiled at him.
That cold, dirty smile, wicked enough to make the whole world instantly warp into hell.
“—your life will be spared boy and I truly mean it. But that’s only if you kill your other friends with your own hands, right here and right now with me and trusted Butler watching.”
The boy shrieked, his eyes wavering and trembling in shock.
But looking at Andrew’s darkened hazel eyes, he could see that the King was being deadly serious.
“Here, I’ll even lend you my special hatchet to use, isn’t that an honour itself?” Andrew pushed the hatchet towards the boy’s chest with a smile so genuine that it felt truly mocking to the victims.
The boy looked down at the hatchet hesitantly and with fear squeezing the entirety of his chest.
“Don’t you want to stay alive?” Andrew softly asked his brows squeezing together with concern.
“I do!…I really do want to stay alive Sir Andrew.”
“Then do as I tell you boy, it can’t be so hard right?….after all you are used to breaking people’s spirit during our monthly rituals.”
‘Breaking a spirit, or molesting others is not the same as killing.
Especially my friends.’ the boy thought his eyes teary as he turned to look over his close friends.
But Andrew’s sharp voice snapped him back to his gruelling reality.
“See what I did to your other friend there?,” Andrew leisurely pointed and the pile of flesh soaked in blood across them.
“—do it like that, to them as well then your little life will be spared. I will forgive you for all the trouble that you’ve caused to Harry, for the harm that you did to him and beating him up to that extent and for also looking down on him. And I’ll leave this to only serve as a lesson, the Mayfairs keep their word and you know it Sonny.”
The boy’s breath hitched for a second before catching it again, standing up to face his trembling friends as they plead for their lives, their hands clasped together and calling him by his cherished nickname they usually called him by….
Fear could be well seen in their eyes, tears blurring their eyesight, weeping and flooding their flushed faces, desperate to hang on what’s left of their lives.
Their voices trembled along with their cries and they cried out for mercy, in the most agonizing baritone that they have never shrieked before.
Their friend, the leader he gripped tightly on the hatchet, closing his eyes for a brief moment.
All that he could think about was the fact that it was either his life or theirs.
And just then he raised the hatchet, screaming out loud as he sent it down to one of his friends, trying by all means not to look as he did.
“Hey instead of screaming out loud and making a noise, try cursing at them for harming Harry. How about that?” Andrew folded his arms as he stood up straight again watching the scene closely.
“YOU LOW LIVES!, HOW DARE YOU DO THAT TO HARRY MCGUIRE!?, DON’T YOU KNOW HOW IMPORTANT HE IS TO OUR LEADER AND OUR SCHOOL!?…HOW DARE YOU SCUMBAGS BEAT HIM UP AND TRY TO RAPE HIM HUH!?…DIE RIGHT NOW!, DIE ALL OF YOU!!!.” contrary to his words, the boy was crying his eyes out as well as he sent the sharp blade right across his friends’ bodies.
“Mhm?..you’re quite good at this boy, I must commend you.” Andrew chuckled remained still as he watched the boy butcher his friends altogether without even the ounce of mercy.
And after what felt like a while, silence finally took over the base and the screams had also died down.
The entire room was a sea of blood and diced flesh, the corpses were limp with detached limbs and a gruesome sight to bear.
The boy fell down on his knees having lost all of his strength, his eyes had dried up all of his tears from all crying and he just looked at his bloody hands as they trembled that even the hatchet felt heavy in his hold.
“What–…what have I done?” His voice came out as a raspy whisper.
It felt forced to even speak.
“Now do you see what happens when you cause trouble without my permission commoner?…boy you should have known your place from the beginning. In this institution you are merely a commoner and my pawn meant to be swayed around by nobility. Everything here happens by my own will and instructions. But if you go out of your way to cause trouble–….then this is the consequence of your actions.”
Andrew unfolded his arms slowly walking towards the traumatized boy and he nudged him with his foot.
“Commoners should know their place, they should only do things when instructed to do so.” Andrew unbuckled his leather waist belt and unzipped his pants in a slow but deliberate motion.
He grinned while hovering above the boy’s dangling head and then he pulled up the boy’s bloody face to look up at him.
Just before the boy could even process what was going on, his bloodshot eyes popped out of their sockets when he saw Andrew’s other member dangling above his face and poking him on the nose.
“For the cost of my mercy. Please me you lowly thing.”
Andrew scoffed as he shoved his hardened cock into his mouth and the boy could only choke out of surprise not even knowing what to do with himself and the hard shaft inside his mouth.
“You’re so bad at this, truly bad…” Andrew huffed rolling his eyes as he pulled out.
“—what’s the point of keeping a miserable and unworthy commoner like yourself who can’t even suck a dick to save his life alive?”
The boy choked out his words trying to plead with him but Andrew didn’t even give him a chance to squel as he pulled away zipping up his pants.
Just then a gunshot trailed off from Bob’s direction.
Suddenly the last remaining boy, the leader who had sacrificed his friends to save his life…he fell down as well, collapsing on his own pool of blood now pooling along with the others laying cold and brutally murdered next to him.
“He didn’t think I was going to actually spare his life did he?” Andrew buckled his belt laughing as he turned around to face Bob.
“Bob you know the drill, make it seem like he killed himself after killing the others. And once you’re done, make preparations to buy me a new hatchet, seemingly I’m never going to use this darling ever again.”
“Yes young master.”
Andrew nodded wearing his blazer once again with the help of Bob and he took hold of his cane as well.
“Oh and about Harry…call a nurse to go check up on him first thing tomorrow morning. I can’t have him looking like a mess when we go fetch our beautiful child, Lolleta from his family mansion.”
“Very well young master.”
