The first kobold rounded the corner, rusted spear raised, and Dom was already moving.

He took his blade through it’s throat before it could screech an alarm, then pivoted into the second one coming up behind it.

The tunnel ahead was crawling with them.

CertifiedFloorTank: clean opener xXDungeonDaddyXx: TWO IN TWO SECONDS

SaltySupp0rt: the efficiency is terrifying

He didn’t stop.

The outer tunnel branched into a wider passage, and the patrols were thicker here, groups of four and five, rusted spears and hide shields, their reptilian eyes gleaming in the torchlight.

Dom moved through them like a blade through tall grass.

Silent.

Precise.

Every strike aimed at a throat or an eye socket.

OhNoRatio: he’s not even getting hit

ActuallyADruid: footwork is textbook.

weight distribution is perfect on that injured knee.

StinkyRiftDiver: wait injured knee??

The ears fed him everything.

Footsteps behind him.

The creak of a bowstring two corridors away.

The subtle shift of weight as a kobold decided whether to flee or fight.

Dom killed the ones that fought and let the ones that fled go, they’d warn the others, but he was counting on that.

Panic would make things easier for him.

GoblinSlayer69: he’s herding them

PixelSlvt: tactical catboy

BussyBlaster9000: THE EARS ARE STEERING HIM LIKE A RADAR

The main camp opened before him twenty minutes later, and the numbers finally caught up.

Twelve kobold in a shield wall.

Eight archers on elevated platforms, covering every approach.

A central command tent flanked by two armored guards with tower shields and heavy maces.

And behind it all, the Pyromancer’s fire casting long shadows across the stone.

Dozens more Kobolds swarmed the periphery, runners, scouts, reinforcements waiting in the wings.

current viewers: 11,400

KravenMoHead34: That’s a full battalion.

How is one person supposed to clear that?

CertifiedFloorTank: he’s not supposed to.

that’s the point.

F2P_And_Proud: this is either going to be incredible or a snuff film

“There’s a lot of them,” Dom said quietly.

The ears tracked every of his opponents.

He needed a way to break their formation.

“Well I guess stealth is over. Time to hit the fast and hard.”

PixelSlvt: FULL SEND

BussyBlaster9000: CHAT LOCK IN

He came out of the dark at a dead sprint.

The first skirmisher in the shield wall saw him coming and raised its spear, but Dom was already airborne, he vaulted over the shield, landed in the middle of their formation, and started killing.

Two went down before they knew he was there.

Three more before they turned to face him.

The shield wall shattered, skirmishers scattering in every direction, and Dom was already moving toward the archers.

OhNoRatio: BRO JUST JUMPED INTO THE MIDDLE OF THEM

GoblinSlayer69: ZERO FEAR xXDungeonDaddyXx: HE’S FARMING THEM LIKE MOBS

The archers fired.

Arrows whistled past his head, his shoulders, his legs.

One grazed his ribs.

Another clipped his thigh.

He didn’t slow down.

He scaled the first platform in four strides, killed the archer, and vaulted to the second.

The third archer put an arrow through his forearm, and Dom bit down on a scream, snapped the shaft, and kept fighting.

current viewers: 18,000

ActuallyADruid: arrow through the forearm, and kept going.

this man is not human.

MomsCreditCard: I THINK I’M GOING TO BE SICK

StinkyRiftDiver: he’s bleeding everywhere

“Just a scratch,” Dom muttered, though his arm was on fire and his knee was screaming and the chat was losing its collective mind.

Six archers down.

Two to go.

The skirmishers were regrouping near the command tent, the armored guards stepping forward to meet him.

BussyBlaster9000: “just a scratch” with an arrow hole in his arm

SaltySupp0rt: catboy is built different

The armored guards were a problem.

Tower shields.

Heavy maces.

Elite units who didn’t break and didn’t run.

They advanced in perfect unison, their shields forming a moving wall of iron.

Dom couldn’t go over them.

Couldn’t go through them.

He needed to go under.

He dropped to his knees at the last second, sliding across the stone, and drove both blades up into the gap beneath the first guard’s armored skirt.

The creature crumpled.

The second guard swung its mace and caught Dom in the ribs, he felt something crack, the impact sending him skidding across the floor.

ActuallyADruid: broken ribs.

definitely broken ribs.

CertifiedFloorTank: GET UP

He got up.

Barely.

The guard was advancing, mace raised.

Dom threw his dagger, a spinning, desperate arc, and the blade buried itself in the guard’s eye slit.

The creature dropped.

current viewers: 24,000

Silence.

The camp was clear.

The skirmishers were dead or fled.

The archers were broken.

The guards were down.

All that remained was the Pyromancer.

xXDungeonDaddyXx: he cleared the whole camp

PixelSlvt: solo.

injured.

on stream.

OhNoRatio: this is actually legendary

Dom stood in the center of the carnage, chest heaving, blood dripping from his forearm and ribs.

The chat was a blur of emotes and screaming.

He didn’t have time to read it.

The Pyromancer’s fire was growing brighter at the far end of the chamber, and he still had the hardest fight ahead of him.

BussyBlaster9000: THE BOSS IS NEXT

GoblinSlayer69: he’s half dead already

MomsCreditCard: DO THE DANCE SAVE YOURSELF

“The dance makes me stronger. I’m saving it for the boss.”

He limped toward the Pyromancer’s chamber, blades ready, ears flattened against his skull.

His body was screaming at him.

The arrow wound in his forearm had stopped bleeding but the muscle underneath was on fire.

His ribs ached with every breath.

His knee was grinding bone on bone.

He stopped.

Pulled a healing potion from his belt.

Downed it in one long swallow.

The warmth spread through his chest, the wounds knitting just enough to keep him moving, the arrow hole closing, the rib fractures dulling to a manageable ache.

Not fixed.

But functional.

He pulled a stamina potion next.

The fatigue retreated, the fog clearing from his mind, the shaking in his hands steadying.

SaltySupp0rt: potion break.

respect.

BussyBlaster9000: he’s like “let me chug this real quick before I commit murder”

“No point fighting a Pyromancer if I can barely stand.” He tossed the empty vials aside.

“Mana’s still fine.”

The Pyromancer’s fire was growing brighter at the far end of the chamber.

Dom rolled his shoulders, felt the healing potion still working, the stamina potion settling into his muscles.

He had maybe ten minutes before both wore off.

That was all the window he needed.

“Alright.” He drew his blades.

“Let’s finish this.”

He stepped into the chamber.

The Pyromancer raised its staff and screamed.

The Pyromancer was bigger than the old raid reports suggested.

Hunched and scaled, embers drifting from its cracked hide, a gnarled staff in its claws holding a burning crystal the size of a human head.

It raised that staff and screamed, and a wall of liquid flame rolled toward him.

Dom threw himself sideways, the fire washing past close enough to singe his jacket.

He came up running, circling the chamber.

The Pyromancer tracked him with an intelligence that felt too aware.

This wasn’t a dumb beast.

This was a predator.

CertifiedFloorTank: the pyromancer is tracking his movements.

that’s not normal kobold behavior.

ActuallyADruid: mutated variant.

bigger and smarter.

this could end badly.

If its smart, I just need to change my approach.

He activated Keen Edge.

The blades hummed, a faint blue sheen coating the steel as the mana drain began its slow tick at the back of his mind.

He’d never used it in a real fight before, never trusted himself to hold the buff without burning through his reserves.

But tonight, with fifty thousand people watching, he didn’t have the luxury of playing it safe.

Hit and run.

Dart in, land a cut, retreat before the flames caught him.

He carved lines across the creature’s arms, its legs, anything he could reach.

The wounds sizzled but didn’t bleed.

The Pyromancer’s blood was fire.

current viewers: 31,000

OhNoRatio: he’s moving faster than before

SaltySupp0rt: is that a blade buff??

the blue glow wasn’t there earlier

Three times he closed distance.

Three times the Pyromancer forced him back with walls of flame.

His mana was holding, Keen Edge was a slow drain, Spiral Edge was still in reserve.

His knee was the problem now.

The stamina potion kept his muscles fresh, but it couldn’t fix bone grinding on bone.

Every pivot sent a spike of pain up his leg.

He needed to end this.

The Pyromancer advanced, slow, deliberate, each step a grinding percussion of scales on stone.

ActuallyADruid: look at the crystal size.

that staff would probably be worth a fortune.

Dom was thinking the same thing.

Mages would pay premiums for fire-attuned catalysts, especially Fire Mages, and with a crystal that size, they’d definitely go crazy for it.

SaltySupp0rt: he’s staring at the staff with hungry eyes

BussyBlaster9000: bro is calculating the resale value mid-fight

“I mean. You can’t really blame me, look at the crystal on that thing,” Dom muttered.

“Gotta kill the Kobold first though.”

OhNoRatio: this man is running a BUSINESS

The Pyromancer raised its staff and brought it down.

A wave of liquid flame rolled across the floor, a wall of heat that filled half the chamber and left nowhere to dodge except forward.

Dom sprinted directly at the creature, the fire licking at his heels, and threw himself into a slide beneath the arc of the next swing.

The staff whistled past his skull, close enough to singe his ears.

He came up inside its guard and drove both blades into the creature’s side.

The wounds sizzled.

The Pyromancer backhanded him across the chamber.

Dom hit the wall hard enough.

The stamina potion kept his vision from swimming.

The healing potion kept his ribs from collapsing entirely.

He pushed himself up, gasping, and the Pyromancer was already advancing again.

current viewers: 47,000

ActuallyADruid: it barely reacted to a direct hit.

its pain threshold is off the charts.
