As Areth left, he walked around the school, running into the cafeteria as he looked around and decided to go and eat there.
As the man walked in, he saw that the cafeteria was similar to the ones in hospitals from his original world, with white walls, a wide and far window that showed outside, a bunch of tables, and vending machines that sold food.
“I was expecting something more insane from this place.”
“But this isn’t bad either.”
Areth went to the vending machine and looked at the items.
There were juices of different flavors and sandwiches of different kinds; they were simply made snacks that wouldn’t hinder your training or performance in your classes.
“Hmm, I’ll take the meatball submarine and Rafu Juice.” He said as he looked at the price and smiled.
“A single credit…”
“Such good prices, one thing that is surely better than my old world.” He thought as he took his food to a table near the side of a window.
Areth started to calmly eat his food when both Inra and Leikon approached him, and both wondered what he was doing.
“I’m eating.”
“You don’t mind us sitting with you, right?”
“No, I don’t.”
“Thank you!” Inra said as she quickly sat in front of him with her own sandwich.
As Leikon and Inra talked about fighting, they both started to discuss what they would do after becoming full-blown pulsarian warriors, and Leikon said that he would probably be a warrior until he becomes an elite one, then he’ll get himself a girlfriend, which makes Inra glare at him with a doubtful look, as she doesn’t believe he’ll get a girlfriend.
“…”
“Inra, stop looking at me like that.” Get faster updates on g.com.
“What?”
“I don’t think someone like you would get a girlfriend, well, not in a thousand years at least.”
“I mean, you look like the type of man that acts tough until their mother is around.”
“What the fuck?” Leikon said as Areth tried his best to hold in his laughter.
“First of all, I don’t act tough. Second, I respect my mom!”
“…But anyways, have you guys heard?” Leikon asked the two of them.
“Heard what?” Areth asked him.
“The placement matches for the student rankings that are going to happen in a month.”
“What placement do you think you guys will get?”
“I think, well, I hope I’ll get in the top 20 at least,” Leikon tells them.
“Well, I don’t really give a shit,” Inra said nonchalantly.
“What about you, Areth?”
“Probably the top 10.”
“But how long are the classes here?” Areth asks, which surprises both of them, as the duration of the classes was written in the invitation. Follow the newest chapters on g.com.
“Around three to twelve months, depending on what class you ended up in and what additional classes you took,”
“For example, if you took any one of the additional classes, such as stealth, magic combat, otherworldly knowledge, tactics, spacecraft pilot and mechanics, martial arts, or war medic classes, you would have a total of an extra 2 years to do here.”
“But assuming you didn’t take any of those, it should usually be around three to four months, sometimes two, depending on how good you are.”
“Since we don’t get taught from the ground up, like, for example, class E and F,” Inra explained as Leikon chuckles, commenting that the place is more like a job formation for the army, now that he thinks about it.
“It really is.” She added as she slurped down on her juice box.
“But, Areth, did you take any additional classes?”
“Because I took spacecraft pilot and mechanics, so I’m doing an extra 2 years,” Inra said with a confident grin on her face.
“I took martial arts!” Leikon added.
“…I didn’t take anything,” Areth said, which surprised both of them as they asked him why, to which he replied that he had already learned a lot from both his parents, as they are both warriors.
!!
“That saves up a lot of time, lucky you,” Leikon said, which made Areth remember the borderline demonic training his mother made him go through when he was younger, as the memories that he had to pull an enormous boulder up a mountain without flying came back to him.
“….I guess so…”
“Rafu” is a fruit native to planet Pulsar.
To a human, it would taste similar to vanilla ice cream.
