As they landed, Areth quickly got out of the ship, which made Inra chuckle as she already knew what he was going to do.

She made her way out of the ship and saw Areth vomit on the sand, which made her laugh.

“That’s not funny!” Areth said as he continued to vomit and saw a golden icon appear in front of him.Full novel: STAR QUEST — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

[YOU HAVE GAINED: Velocity resistance (C)]

“That’s how I gain such a skill!?”

“That’s bullshit!!!” He thought as Inra tapped his shoulder.

“Told you it wasnt easy.”

“Well, when you’re done puking your guts out, ill be waiting for you.” She told him as she walked off with the rest of the class.

A few minutes passed as Areth finally finished vomiting and looked up to see the planet he was on.

“What the…”

The Planet was mainly made of sand, mountains, and canyons, and what seemed to be a bit of forested area as well.

Areth looked around for a few seconds before being called by Inra, who was watching him from afar.

“Over here!” She shouted as he quickly flew to her.

Areth looked as all of the students of class A were talking, deciding on who would participate in the 6v6 battle against Tharkal, but even for class A, it was hard to get anyone else other than Aret, Inra, Leikon, and Turvan to participate.

“We only need two more!”

“I can’t believe this class is full of cowards!” Turvan loudly claimed as some students looked away.

“Hey, big guy, calm down, we’re participating as well.” A familiar woman said while dragging another person.

!?

“Janzia!?” Areth said in shock as he tilted his head towards the man she was dragging, who had green eyes, and started to think as he felt like he had seen this person before.

…

The four of them went silent; none of them had a single clue who the man she was dragging was.

“…Who is that?” Leikon asked Janzia, to whom she replied that it was Oliviera, the 6th member of the team.

“Ah, Oliviera, the other hybrid that can’t fly other than Turvan in the class.”

The man broke free of Janzia’s iron grip and stood back up, still wearing the same black hoodie that Areth remembered seeing him in during the first day in class, as the group of students in the back started to talk with each other.

“Oliviera?”

“I never saw him fight before…all he did while at school was sit in the corner of the library.” A woman murmured.

“Really?”

“That’s not very promising…” Another replied.

Seeing this, Inra proposed to Oliviera that she shut them up, but upon looking at his face, he didn’t seem to care in the slightest, while the muscular man was starting to grow impatient.

“Hey, teacher!”

“When are they showing up!?” Turvan shouted.

“Any second now!” Valtez shouted back as a few seconds later, another massive ship appeared, it was black and had the shape of a triangle, and made little to no sound as it went down before landing.

The ship opens a door from below, with 8 people slowly flying down from it.

“Here they are..”

“The warriors of Tharkal!” Areth thought as he looked at them.

They wore an outfit similar to those worn by the warriors of Pulsar, but with a few distinct changes.

The pants were baggier, resembling those of martial artists, and were paired with black boots that shared a design similar to business shoes.

Between the legs was a red loincloth, secured by a black belt that held everything together, while golden bands adorned their wrists and ankles, and had a symbol similar to that of the Pulsarian Army was on their back.

Areth didn’t admit it out loud, but he thought their outfit looked cool.

The 8 warriors landed on the ground, and a visually older and bearded Man shouted at them. Find the original chapter at g.com.

“You guys did your team?”

“Yeah!” Valtez shouted back.

“Good!”

“I’m guessing that’s their teacher,” Turvan said, which Leikon agreed to.

The teachers of both groups told their team to wear special bracelets.

?

“What are those for?” Inra asked Valtez.

“Those are made to teleport you to a random place on the planet, although not too far from one eammate.”

“And it also sends you back to the spaceship if ever you get injured terribly and heal you rapidly, so that death is impossible.”

“However.”

“Upon being teleported out, you would be considered out of the match.”

“And when all of the players of one team are eliminated.”

“The remaining team will be the winners.”

“Understood?” The teacher said as they replied that they all did.

Upon them putting on the bracelets, both groups, except the participants, made their way into their spaceships as they flew outside of the deserted planet and stayed stationary around the planet.

Upon the two spaceships leaving the planet, their bracelets started to emit a blue light as Inra guessed that it was the teleportation being activated and waved them goodbye as she vanished, then it was Turvan, Janzia, and Oliviera.

“Let’s win this,” Leikon told Areth as he vanished as well.

“Yeah.” He simply replied as he vanished, only to suddenly reappear in what seemed to be a deep forest.

The man looked around before deciding to walk ahead.

“Alright, let the game begin.”

I’d recommend reading STAR QUEST on Royal Road for images such as outfits and character avatars.
