Meanwhile, in class, the teacher introduced himself as Valtez, the teacher of class A, and told everyone to quickly find a seat as Areth sat in the seat next to the statue.
Valtez wore the Pulsarian warrior outfit and had two large braids keeping his long hair together behind his back, had golden eyes, which wasn’t a trait of pureblood pulsarians, and was quite muscular with brown skin closer to a human’s than a pulsarian.
“Judging from his appearance, he’s a hybrid pulsarian.” Areth thought.
“Alright, now that everyone is seated, I’m going to start the first lesson of the class.” He said as multiple students wondered what the first lesson would be: martial arts?
flight?
energy control?
It could be anything related to the concept of fighting as an awakened.
“Your first lesson will be about flight control,” Valtez told the students as some of them wondered if he was one of the rare hybrid pulsarians that could fly.
“And yes, I can fly, if you’re asking yourself that.”
“But before we go to the training grounds, I need to make a list of students who can and can’t fly.”
“So raise your hand if you’re a hybrid who can’t fly.” He said as two students raised their hands.
“Wow, that’s less than I thought.”
“What are your names?” he asked them as they introduced themselves.
The first one was Oliviera, who seemed like a quiet guy as he wore a black hoodie and sat alone at the complete other side of Areth, but had two features that stood out: his dark gray skin and his emerald green eyes.
The second student, named Turvan, seemed more social but was also tall and had a muscular, dark brown body, similar to someone who goes to the gym every day of the week, had short, spikey silver hair, and wore a red t-shirt with black pants. Follow the newest chapters on novelping.com.
“Alright then, you two will be free to visit the school, the others, follow me,” Valtez said as he left the classroom.
As they walked the hallways, they eventually made their way to the training grounds.
Everyone looked in awe as the place was simply massive.
Most of the places were white like the rest of the building, but this place was slightly different; it had multiple areas, three more rooms that were connected by massive doorless entrances.
One area had multiple obstacle courses, the other had massive gray pillars of different sizes that came out of the ground, the third had an indoor grassland with trees and rocks, and the room they were in was clearly the simplest, as it only had a flat white ground and had nothing in it.
“Alright, guys, stop looking around. We’re going to start the lesson!”
Everyone looked at Valtez as he flew a meter above ground and asked everyone to do the same, which they did as they wondered what he was planning to do.
Suddenly, he flew a few dozen meters back and shouted at them to touch him if they could.
The group does not see any difficulty in this attempt to touch him, but quickly realizes the challenge as he quickly evades all of them with little to no effort, while Areth and another student look at the others getting outmaneuvered by the experienced warrior from below.
“So you’re gonna chase him too?” The man next to him asked
“Uh, yeah, what about you?”
“Yeah, just waiting for the right moment.”
“Areth,” he replied to him as he looked at him.
Leikon was a hybrid pulsarian and had pale skin, similar to a caucasian man with silver hair, eyes, and eyebrows like every other pulsarian, but he had a mohawk as a haircut, which was the first time Areth ever saw a pulsarian with one, plus he also wore a beach shirt with black shorts and sandals.
As Areth looked at Valtez quickly evading the students, he eventually flew within their range.
As they both saw the opening, they both suddenly flew up and closed the gap between him and the others within a single second, and touched the teacher, surprising him and the students.
!?
“I thought they were trouble makers, but the whole time they were waiting for an opening to touch me!”
“These two are pretty smart…” He thought as everyone stopped chasing him.
He stood in the air as the two got closer.
“You two, what are your names?” He asked.
“Areth.”
“Leikon”
“You two passed, you can go and visit the rest of the training grounds if you’d like,” Valtez said as they both flew down.
“By the way, Areth, you’re pretty fast,” Leikon tells him.
“You’re pretty fast, too,” Areth replied as they both started walking around towards the grass room while everyone else struggled to even touch the teacher.
