I jolted awake with a silent scream.

The image of my beloved computer was still burned into my mind, sparks flying everywhere while my hands remained glued to the keyboard as a violent electric current surged through my body.

Taking my life away, literally turning me into a human kebab.Full novel: Star Wars: The Chosen One’s Endless Grind — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

I could have sworn that, just moments before, I had heard a massive crash, as if a high-voltage power pole had collapsed onto my house, suddenly increasing the amount of electricity flowing through the wiring.

Then, hundreds of images and memories began flooding my mind.

Like an unstoppable avalanche drowning my consciousness, I barely managed to stay afloat, gasping for air like a fish thrown onto the shore.

Gradually, the images slowed down, and I started to understand what had happened.

Within them, I saw a nine-year-old boy working day after day in a junk dealer’s shop.

Then realization struck me.

I thought I was dreaming.

I had been reborn into the Star Wars universe.

And not just anywhere.

I had become the Chosen One himself.

Anakin Skywalker.

The amount of euphoria that overwhelmed me in that moment couldn’t be put into words.

I had grown up loving Star Wars.

Ever since my father showed me the original trilogy, I had fallen completely into this universe.

Not just the movies, the TV shows, or the animated series.

Everything.

Books, short stories, even random YouTube videos expanding the lore of Star Wars.

Outside of work and spending time with friends, I dedicated almost all of my free time to this universe.

Reading fanfiction.

Trying to write my own stories set in this incredible galaxy.

And now…

I had been reborn.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…

Once the initial adrenaline and excitement faded, reality caught up with me.

My current situation wasn’t exactly ideal.

I was stranded on an extremely dangerous planet with only my mother.

At the same time, I was a slave carrying an explosive implant capable of ending this exciting new adventure at the whim of some blue alien.

With my skull blown into tiny pieces.

“Okay.

Calm down,” I muttered to myself while slapping my own cheeks.

First, I needed to figure out exactly where I was in the timeline and when Qui-Gon and the others would arrive.

I looked around my home.

Aside from my sleeping mat which didn’t look particularly inviting anymore now that I had gotten out of it I noticed C-3PIO standing nearby in his unfinished form, still lacking his outer plating.

I stood in the middle of the room, searching through the memories I had inherited from Anakin, looking for any clues that could pinpoint where we currently were in the story.

Then I remembered something.

Watto had mentioned it more to himself than to me.

The Boonta Eve Classic would take place exactly two weeks from now.

Okay.

Not ideal.

But not terrible either.

I just had to survive for another two weeks before a responsible adult showed up to save my poor little ass from this pile of scrap.

Now that I had a goal to work toward, I slowly began calming down and planning my next moves.

I knew I possessed unparalleled talent in the Force.

After all, I was occupying the body of the Chosen One.

All I had to do was meditate and slowly explore the limits of my abilities.

Eventually, Qui-Gon Jinn would take me to Coruscant, where I would gain access to the knowledge of the Jedi.

Alright.

Back to sleep.

I still had a shop to open in the morning and several parts that needed repairing.

Just as I was about to return to the unappetizing pile of rags that served as my bed, a panel suddenly appeared before my eyes accompanied by a soft bing.

No way…

Was it possible that my deepest wishes had actually come true?

Not only had I reincarnated as Anakin Skywalker…

I also had my cheat.

Excitement surged through me so intensely that I nearly started jumping in place.

A gray rectangular window materialized before my eyes.

Across the top, written in large bold letters, were the words:

INFINITE GRIND SYSTEM

The smile on my face immediately faltered.

Wait.

Grind?

Where was my beginner’s gift pack?

Where was my infinite power at the click of a button?

Where was my ability to summon armies?

No.

Please don’t do this to me.

Don’t be a useless system.

The longer I stared at the screen, the less I understood.

I knew exactly what grinding meant.

But aside from its name, the system seemed completely empty.

The only thing displayed within the interface was my personal information.

I then noticed a line of tiny text beneath the status screen.

Curious, I focused on an icon labeled Skills.

The moment I selected it, an entirely different list appeared before my eyes.

Wow…

After struggling through that wall of text, I could confidently say that Anakin’s very existence was a cheat.

The sheer number of skills and their levels were terrifying for a nine-year-old child.

What stood out the most was the special trait:

Force Sensitivity: 999+

It seemed the system hadn’t been designed to display values higher than that.

There was only enough space for three digits.

Yet mine not only showed 999, but also carried a plus sign, as if reality itself was emphasizing just how abnormal I truly was.

I wouldn’t deny that it inflated my ego a little.

But I quickly smacked myself on the head and returned to reality.

I was a poor child.

A slave.

I wasn’t in any position to get cocky yet.

Alright.

So I really did have my own system.

For now, I didn’t want to think about whether some god had helped me or how exactly this thing had come into existence.

That was a problem for future me.

I had no intention of wasting precious brain cells trying to solve that mystery right now.

Instead, there was only one thing occupying my thoughts.

The section labeled:

Force Control — Level 1 (0/100 EXP)

Growth Through:

– Meditation: +1 EXP per hour

– First conscious manipulation of the Force: +20 EXP

– Jedi training: +10–30 EXP

I quickly realized that if I wanted to gain even a single level through meditation alone, I would have to meditate for over two full days.

almost fifty-nine hours mpre or less

I didn’t have that kind of freedom.

I had responsibilities in Watto’s shop.

But I couldn’t stop myself.

As a lifelong Star Wars fan, who wouldn’t want to feel the Force?

My attention immediately shifted toward the line mentioning the first conscious manipulation of the Force.

Anakin had never consciously used the Force because he had never been aware of it.

But I was different.

I knew almost everything there was to know about the Force from the Star Wars universe.

On top of that, I knew countless Force abilities and the principles behind them.

Without hesitation, I searched through the nearby desk and found several small glass marbles that Anakin treated like tiny treasures.

I quickly arranged them in a circle roughly a meter away from me before sitting cross-legged in the center.

Closing my eyes, I attempted to sense their existence through what could only be described as a third sense.

The Force.

For several minutes, nothing happened.

But gradually, the chaotic thoughts filling my mind began to fade away.

Plans.

Dreams.

Excitement over this incredible new universe.

One by one, they disappeared until only calm remained.

I felt as though I were floating through the endless vacuum of space.

Weightless.

Unbound.

Untouched by gravity or any other force.

For the first time since arriving here…

I felt truly free.

I had no idea how much time had passed.

Nor did I know what was happening around me.

Yet every so often, I thought I heard a faint sound echoing somewhere in the distance.

Bink.

Bink.

Bink.

If someone had entered young Anakin’s room at that exact moment, they might have suffered a heart attack.

Because the nine-year-old boy was floating several centimeters above the ground.

Around him, beautiful glass marbles revolved through the air like loyal servants, moving in perfect synchronized orbits.

At the same time, a new notification appeared within the system.

Force Control — Level 1 (0/100 EXP)

Overwrite: Force Sensitivity 999+

(enlightenment)

Level 1 (20/100 EXP)

Level 1 (40/100 EXP)

Level 1 (80/100 EXP)

Level 2 (0/200 EXP)

this book will be slow with much of the word bulding so we see I’ve been diving into the deep end with my AI book, there are too many different visions and I don’t know where to start, so this book is a respite from this chaos.
