Looking at Tony Stark’s half-dead condition, Charlie Parker stepped forward.

He decided to see for himself.

Yinsen tried to stop him.

But Charlie had already reached out and gently shifted Tony’s body.

“Urgh…!”

Instantly—

The metal spikes tugged on Tony’s nerves.

His body convulsed violently.

Blood poured from his mouth and nose.

Every wound across his body split open again.

The next second…

Tony coughed up a mouthful of black blood…

Then went completely still.

Charlie: “…”

So…

“Let’s give it a try”…

Really meant “let’s die.”

[You have been eliminated.]

[Resurrection Slot not awarded.]

[Strength Reward: +0.2 Tons]

[Remaining Restart Attempts: 8]

Back on the cosmic spider web…

The familiar surge of strength flowed through Charlie’s body.

He stood up, stretched, and began thinking.

Someone had tampered with Tony’s body.

As long as Tony couldn’t be moved…

Rescuing him was practically impossible.

No wonder Lizard Parker and Norman had been so careless.

They hadn’t even bothered ganging up on him the moment they spotted him.

This proved one thing.

If villains were ruthless enough…

There wasn’t much anyone could do to stop them.

Unless…

You were willing to be even more ruthless.

After thinking it through, Charlie reluctantly abandoned the tunnel rescue plan.

That approach was officially dead.

The Marvel Universe possessed technology far beyond anything ordinary people could imagine.

Removing the spikes from Tony’s back wasn’t impossible.

The problem…

Was time.

Digging the tunnel had already consumed most of it.

And time was the one thing Charlie lacked.

He’d have to find another solution.

With that decision made…

Charlie selected Restart once again.

Sixth Resurrection Match

The scorching desert greeted them once more.

Charlie had already listened to Steve and Natasha’s reunion conversation so many times that his ears were practically growing calluses.

“Time for takeoff!”

Whoosh!

The three landed safely behind the jeep just before the explosion engulfed their original position.

As the blast kicked up another massive sandstorm, Lizard Parker searched furiously through the dust.

“Charlie Parker!”

“Get out here, you useless coward!”

Behind the jeep, Charlie handed Steve the shield while passing both teammates cans of gasoline.

“I’m staying here to hold him off.”

“You two head for the bunker.”

Then he added,

“Pour the gasoline all over yourselves.”

“…What?”

Natasha frowned.

“That’s dangerous.”

“Especially in this heat.”

Charlie patiently explained.

“We’re being hunted by something much worse.”

“The gasoline will hide your scent.”

“If he’s a picky eater…”

“We might actually get away with it.”

After restarting so many times…

Charlie’s patience had been forged through necessity.

Without explaining things…

Nobody would understand.

After all…

They didn’t remember previous loops.

And honestly…

He wasn’t even sure this plan would work.

Otherwise…

He wouldn’t have sacrificed Natasha so many times already.

At least now…

Black Widow could finally contribute something unique.

Steve and Natasha exchanged a glance.

Within seconds…

They decided to trust Charlie.

Sabotaging teammates benefited no one.

Without hesitation, both poured gasoline over themselves before sprinting toward the bunker Charlie had mentioned.

Moments later…

Lizard Parker caught the strong smell of gasoline.

He grinned savagely.

“Found you…”

Charlie smiled.

“You found me.”

“Too bad you just kicked an iron plate.”

After repeating this battle countless times…

Charlie no longer even needed to aim.

His muscles remembered everything.

He casually hurled the shield.

Exactly as expected…

Lizard Parker soon cried out for help.

“Get down here already!”

“Hehehe…”

“You idiot.”

The Green Goblin arrived on cue.

The same lines.

The same scene.

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

Pumpkin bombs exploded everywhere.

Just like every previous loop…

Norman and Lizard Parker quickly began fighting each other.

Charlie slipped away while they were distracted.

Near a rocky outcrop, he found the gasoline can Steve had left behind.

He smeared a little gasoline over himself before continuing toward the bunker.

Apparently…

Venom Parker truly hated the smell.

Charlie reached the bunker without incident.

“It worked.”

Seeing Charlie arrive safely, Steve immediately relaxed.

He hurried over and helped seal the entrance with loose rocks.

Inside the pitch-black bunker…

The spider emblem on Charlie’s chest illuminated the tunnel.

Seeing Steve and Natasha completely unharmed…

Charlie finally breathed a sigh of relief.

“Good.”

“He may be greedy…”

“But he’s definitely a picky eater.”

There was no shortage of food inside the valley.

Venom Spider hadn’t hunted them purely because they were enemies.

To him…

Ordinary human brains simply couldn’t compare to those of super-powered heroes.

Once Charlie’s team transformed from gourmet cuisine…

Into something more like fermented tofu…

Venom Spider completely lost interest.

This time…

Natasha survived.

That meant one extra pair of hands to help clear the bunker.

Three hours later…

Most of the collapsed rocks had been removed.

Watching Steve and Natasha resting against the wall…

Charlie dismissed his nanotech suit and tossed his original clothes toward Natasha.

Natasha raised an eyebrow.

“Kid.”

“What exactly are you planning to do to me?”

Charlie coughed.

“Don’t misunderstand.”

“I’m not into women who smell like old peop—”

“…Actually.”

“I should probably stop talking.”

He really needed to break that habit.

Pulling his nanotech suit back on, Charlie explained,

“The next step is infiltrating the Ten Rings camp through the bunker.”

“We’ll disguise ourselves as one of them.”

“You’re much more experienced at undercover work than I am.”

The moment infiltration was mentioned…

Natasha smiled confidently.

“You’re right.”

“But I won’t need your clothes.”

She reached inside the collar of her suit.

Then—

She began pulling out professional makeup supplies.

Contestants entered the Resurrection Match carrying their signature equipment from life.

Charlie had his Spider-Man suit.

Steve had his shield and Captain America uniform.

Naturally…

Natasha had her spy gear.

Charlie’s eyes widened.

One after another…

She somehow produced countless espionage tools from inside her skin-tight tactical suit.

Disguise kits.

Needles.

Thread.

Adhesives.

Scissors.

Special cosmetics.

It was like watching a magician perform.

Charlie couldn’t help wondering…

Where exactly had she been hiding all of that?

Only one word came to mind.

Incredible.

Just as Natasha was about to begin…

She suddenly paused.

“…Wait.”

“What exactly am I disguising myself as?”

Almost unconsciously…

She turned to Charlie for instructions.

After all…

Following his orders had already helped them survive several disasters.

Charlie tapped the nanotech device on his wrist.

A holographic image appeared.

It displayed…

A blonde woman.

“Make yourself resemble her as closely as possible.”

“No problem.”

Natasha immediately got to work.

She applied makeup.

Then tore apart sections of her tactical suit before skillfully sewing and modifying the fabric into the appearance of worn refugee clothing.

Throughout the process…

She didn’t bother hiding anything.

Which made the scene…

Rather difficult to describe.

Charlie solemnly swore to himself that he wasn’t watching because he enjoyed it.

He was only carefully checking for flaws in her disguise.

Purely professional.

Absolutely.

Then…

A thought occurred to him.

“Oh.”

“Those green scraps of fabric…”

“Can you turn them into a pair of green ballet slippers?”

Natasha looked puzzled.

“Do they have to be ballet slippers?”

Charlie shrugged.

“Not necessarily.”

“But if you can make them…”

“That’d be even better.”

“…Alright.”

“I’ll see what I can do.”

She continued sewing.

Beside them…

Elderly Steve frowned.

He couldn’t figure out what any of this was supposed to accomplish.

“So…”

“Care to explain your plan in detail?”

Charlie smiled.

“Of course.”
