Back in the place where the Fairy Tail members had gathered, Max, Warren, and even Bisca told everyone about Yuuki's amazing feats. At first, they were in disbelief. But after hearing the details from the three of them, the core members of Fairy Tail fell silent.
Yet, the next moment, the guild erupted into an uproar.
Natsu clenched his fists together with a wide grin. "He's actually that strong? I wanna fight him! Alright! I'm all fired up!"
"Geeheehee! Oi, Salamander, I'll be the first one to challenge him. You'll be next in line." Gajeel smirked, already looking forward to fighting the mysterious new member of their guild.
Lucy's lips twitched as she sensed that these two Dragon Slayers were about to cause trouble again.
"Geez, you two need to tone down yourselves! He just joined the guild, after all. We should at least welcome him properly first." Lucy said and reprimanded the two.
Hearing Lucy's words, Erza nodded in agreement. However, she couldn't help but voice the doubt lingering in her mind. "…Since we disappeared for seven years, our guild has deteriorated and grown weaker. So why would a powerful mage like him choose to join our guild?"
Erza's words were not loud so only Makarov heard her. Still, Makarov simply shook his head before speaking. "No matter what, since he's already a member of our guild, we should treat him as family."
Makarov's voice was calm and casual, showing no concern that their new member might be plotting something. Erza trusted her Master's judgment, so she apologized and replied, "You're right, Master. I shouldn't have doubted him."
Makarov nodded at Erza's response.
Meanwhile, while everyone was talking about Yuuki, Gray and Wendy were quietly contemplating something.
From Max and Warren's description, Yuuki's Ice Magic was so powerful that they could feel its coldness even from a distance. Moreover, the sheer amount of magic power behind the spell was far beyond what a normal mage could wield.
It might even have been a Grand Magic Spell, yet Yuuki didn't even break a sweat after casting it. Moreover, he even followed it up with another Wind Magic spell that was as strong as his Ice Magic.
Gray's eyes lit up with excitement as he clenched his fist. He, too, found himself eager to challenge Yuuki and see for himself whether his Ice Magic was truly as formidable as Max and Warren described.
On the other hand, Wendy looked delighted when she heard that Yuuki could use powerful Wind Magic. It might be different from her Sky Dragon Slaying Magic, but the two were still closely related.
Making an enormous tornado appear as though it were nothing at all made Wendy admire this new guild member of theirs. She felt that there would be a connection between them because of their magic and she began to look forward meeting him.
"Hmm? What's gotten into you, Wendy?" Carla noticed the joyful expression on Wendy's face and asked.
"Ah, Carla. Mm-hmm, I'm fine." Seeing the concern in Carla's eyes, Wendy shook her head reassuringly.
Yet, what Wendy didn't know was that the two of them would indeed have a deep bond in the future.
As everyone was talking among themselves, the space around them suddenly distorted. A figure then emerged from the space distortion, appearing out of nowhere.
"Teleportation Magic!" everyone exclaimed when they saw the person suddenly appear.
While the others became alarmed and prepared to attack, Max and the others immediately stepped forward, positioning themselves between the mysterious figure and the rest of the guild.
"Stop, stop! This is Yuuki!" Max said, breaking into a cold sweat as he saw everyone preparing to unleash their magic.
Hearing Max explain that the person who had just appeared was Fairy Tail's new guild member, everyone fell silent and stared at Yuuki with mix thoughts.
"Guys, this is the new member I told you about." Max smiled wryly as he patted Yuuki on the shoulder and introduced him. "His name is Tenma Yuuki."
"Hello, everyone. It's nice to meet you, and I'm sorry for startling you just now." Yuuki noticed that his sudden appearance had alarmed everyone, so he apologized with a faint smile, but he didn't forget to sweep his gaze at the core members of Fairy Tail, especially the familiar heroines he knows.
Yuuki then turned to Max and asked, "I'm not late, am I? It seems you guys have already found everyone."
"Of course not. You arrived just in time." Max nodded at Yuuki, knowing that Yuuki was actually friendly and kind, though he could be quite frightening at times.
"Hey, new guy! Welcome to the guild! Now, let's fight!" Natsu immediately challenged Yuuki after welcoming him, causing everyone to slap their foreheads speechlessly.
"Salamander, I told you I'd fight him first! You go next!" Gajeel, unwilling to be left behind, pushed Natsu aside with a smirk while staring at Yuuki with a clear intent to fight.
"Gajeel, you bastard! Then I'll beat you first before challenging Yuuki!" Natsu roared at Gajeel in displeasure.
"Just what I wanted!" Gajeel grinned and accepted Natsu's challenge.
Natsu and Gajeel immediately started fighting on the side, causing everyone else to smile bitterly. However, the rest of the guild members weren't particularly bothered. They were already used to seeing Natsu, Gajeel, and the others constantly getting into fights with each other.
Watching the two Dragon Slayers brawling and the rest of Fairy Tail laughing together, Yuuki felt amused, yet strangely content. There was something about the scene that made him feel as though he were truly looking at a family.
'Is this the effect of the famous Nakama Power? I'm actually starting to get affected by it... But for some reason, it doesn't feel so bad...' Yuuki said inwardly.
Yuuki could feel the changes within him, but he didn't do anything about it, since it weren't harming him, and Thana-chan hadn't given him any warning either.
On the other hand, as everyone was watching the brawl of Natsu and Gajeel, a certain girl was looking at Yuuki with her eyes filled with joy and longing. Her lips trembled as she struggled to hold back her emotions and thought back of the past.
'Yuuki-nii, it really is you...'
Meanwhile, the other members of Fairy Tail stepped forward to properly welcome Yuuki, ignoring the two numbskull.
Lucy was the first to step forward and wave at him with a friendly smile.
"Don't mind those two. They're always like that. By the way, I'm Lucy Heartfilia, a Celestial Spirit Mage. Welcome to Fairy Tail, Yuuki! Let's be friends from now on." Lucy smiled brightly and said.
Seeing her warm smile, Yuuki had to admit that Lucy was very attractive. He also couldn't help but notice her voluptuous figure! Still, Yuuki didn't let out his thoughts and simply returned her greeting. "Thank you, Lucy. I'm also looking forward to getting along with everyone in guild."
"Really? That's great!" Lucy beamed and was clearly happy to hear that Yuuki genuinely felt glad to be part of Fairy Tail.
There was something heartwarming about seeing a family laughing and smiling together, and Lucy couldn't help but feel that same warmth as she welcomed Yuuki into theirs.
Alongside those warm feelings, Lucy found herself experiencing another kind of emotion as she watched Yuuki's attractive smile. There was something captivating about his carefree smile that made her unconsciously gulp.
"Ara~ Lucy, you've only just met him, and you're already trying to seduce him?" Mirajane teased as she suddenly walked behind Lucy, causing her to blush furiously.
"I did not!" Lucy protested, she was so embarrassed that she wanted to hide her face from Yuuki's view.
She had to admit that Yuuki had a very handsome face, and he was also very much to her liking, but she genuinely had no intention of seducing him like Mirajane had implied. Please believe her.
"Fufu. Now, now, I'm only teasing you." Mirajane let out a chuckle as she felt satisfied teasing Lucy.
"Geez, Mira, please don't say things that others might misunderstand…" Lucy sighed, feeling exhausted from dealing with her. She gazed at Yuuki, who looked at her with a friendly look which caused her to run away like a rabbit.
"Okay~" Mirajane replied cheerfully to Lucy who had already fled. She then turned toward Yuuki and introduced herself with a warm smile.
"Hello, Yuuki-kun. My name is Mirajane Strauss. If you ever need anything, you can always come to me."
Mirajane smiled warmly at Yuuki, causing him to silently cheer in his heart. She was incredibly beautiful and had that warm, onee-san vibe that made her especially charming. What Yuuki finds more cuter about Mirajane is her short upward ponytail, which brought out her playful side.
The other female members of the guild also had their own unique personalities and charms, making Yuuki feel even more thrilled.
It would be nice to become closer to Mirajane, but that would have to wait until later. Right now, Yuuki still had something he needed to take care of.
Nodding his head, Yuuki returned her smile. "Got it, Mira-nee."
KYUU!
"What did you call me, Yuuki-kun?" Mirajane was dumbfounded by how Yuuki addressed her and wondered if she had heard him correctly. However, there was something inside of her that triggered when Yuuki called her that way.
Meanwhile, the others were equally stupefied. It was the first time they had heard someone outside her own family call Mirajane that way, aside from Elfman and Lisanna.
"Gosh, he really called Mira 'Mira-nee.' This guy is hilarious! Hahaha!" Cana laughed and find Yuuki quite interesting. Though, as she said that a strange glint appeared in her eyes as she watched Yuuki.
"What's wrong, Cana?" Gildarts who was beside Cana asked seeing her weird expression.
"Ah! It's nothing, I just thought Yuuki is very interesting." Cana said and smiled at her father.
"Mn, he really is interesting and very formidable." Gildarts nodded and said. He could feel a trace of dense amount of magic power inside Yuuki's body even though Yuuki concealed it.
'He's strong... Very strong. Those guys said he could rival me? It seems they had still underestimated him. I don't even know if I could last one attack from him.' Gildarts smiled bitterly and shook his head.
"Oh? This new member have guts." Freed Justine looked at Yuuki and suddenly shivered, recalling his memory of Mirajane ruthlessly beating him without mercy in the past.
"Kyahaha! He's much more courageous than the other guys!" Bickslow laughed and thought that their guild got another trouble maker.
"Hmm… I admit, this guy has a charm that could attract girls. But I wonder how Mira will respond?" Evergreen covered the lower half of her face with her fan as she spoke. Though, she herself had to admit Yuuki was too handsome.
Elfman and Lisanna, on the other hand, were also dumbfounded. However, unlike Elfman, who was completely shocked, Lisanna merely sneaked a glance at Yuuki as she wondered what it would be like to have another brother like him.
"S-So… manly." Elfman could only mutter those words, utterly stunned by Yuuki's incredible courage saying something like that to her scary sister.
"A-Ahaha, don't get so worked up, Elf-nii-chan." Lisanna patted her brother's shoulder, trying to calm him down.
