In an open field, south of the current Fairy Tail headquarters, most of the guild's members had gathered around three people preparing for the match.
It was Yuuki against the two Dragon Slayers, Natsu and Gajeel, who would be fighting him together. At first, neither of them wanted to team up, and they even became irritated when Yuuki seemed to belittle them. However, Yuuki merely shrugged and calmly stated that if they weren't willing to attack him at the same time, then he wouldn't fight either of them.
Still, as the three of them faced each other, the other members of Fairy Tail began discussing the upcoming match. Some believed that Yuuki would lose, considering that Natsu and Gajeel were both incredibly powerful Dragon Slayers. However, there were also their other guildmates who had confidence in Yuuki, especially those who had remained behind during the past seven years, as they had personally witnessed his overwhelming power.
Nevertheless, regardless of who emerged victorious, everyone agreed on one thing, this fight will definitely be a spectacular battle.
"What do you think, Laxus?" Fried asked.
Laxus, who was standing beside him, knitted his brows. He looked at the two Dragon Slayers, who were practically itching to attack, before shifting his gaze toward Yuuki, who remained completely relaxed.
After a moment, Laxus shook his head. "At this point... I'm still not sure."
"Laxus, you mean...?" Fried asked, astonished. He didn't expect Laxus to actually hesitate when it came to determining who had the upper hand, after all Natsu and Gajeel had defeated Laxus before.
"Yes. Natsu and Gajeel are both strong but Yuuki's magic power is incredibly deep, and I can't completely gauge the extent of his power."
"...Seriously? Just how strong is this new guildmate of ours, anyway?" Bickslow slapped his forehead after hearing Laxus's words.
"Hoh... So this guy who's been charming all the girls is actually this strong? Interesting." Evergreen muttered quietly enough that only she could hear herself.
On the other side, Lucy, Erza, Gray, Happy, Wendy, Carla, and Levy were also discussing the match.
"Erza, who do you think will win?" Lucy asked.
She was curious, especially since Yuuki actually wanted to take on two of their most powerful mages in their guild and Dragon Slayers at that.
Erza, however, seemed a little distracted as she watched Yuuki standing in the center of the open field. Noticing that her mind appeared to be elsewhere, Lucy called out to her.
"Erza? Erza? Are you okay?"
"Ah! Un, I'm fine, Lucy." Erza replied stiffly.
The events that had happened earlier were still replaying in her mind. Erza quickly shook her head, trying to dismiss those embarrassing moments with Yuuki out of her mind.
She decided it was best to forget about it and focus on the match.
"Well, it's good to know you're alright. But, back to my question, who do you think will win?" Lucy asked again curiously.
"The match hasn't started yet, and we still don't have a clear understanding of Yuuki's strength, so I can't say who's going to win just yet." Erza said while looking at the three mages in front of her.
Having cleared her mind, Erza returned to her usual composed self and analyzed the situation with a stern expression.
"Eh? You think so? Even with both Natsu and Gajeel fighting together?" Lucy exclaimed, clearly surprised by Erza's answer.
"Gajeel will not loose easily." Panther Lily said confidently.
"I believe in Natsu!" Happy cheered eagerly for Natsu.
"You really should use your brain sometimes, Happy." Carla said with a snort.
"Still, I wonder just how strong Yuuki-san really is?" Wendy said to everyone with her bright and big eyes.
"I also want to know if his strength is really as impressive as everyone says." Gray said. Miraculously, he was actually wearing a shirt for once.
"...This fight might also be a one sided massacre." Erza muttered to herself recalling the time she felt the immeasurable magic power hidden deep inside Yuuki.
"Natsu! Gajeel! You can do it, you two!" Lucy joined in the cheering after hearing the enthusiastic support from the rest of the guild.
"I'll give you my treasured fish if you win, Natsu!" Happy said while presenting his fish.
"Who would even want your fish?" Carla immediately shot back, shutting Happy down.
"Good luck, everyone! Please don't get hurt too much!" Wendy also joined in, though her words were much more encouraging and considerably less violent than everyone else's.
"Gajeel, I'm rooting for you!" Levy encouraged him.
"Yuuki, do your best!" Laki cheered.
Together with Laki, Kinana, Max, Bisca, Alzack and a few other members of Fairy Tail were also cheering at Yuuki.
"You two have so many supporters. I'm a little overwhelmed." Yuuki said.
Yuuki swept his gaze across his guildmates. Although everyone was cheering for the three of them, he noticed that there were still more people rooting for the two Dragon Slayers.
Then, amid the loud cheers, he heard Mirajane's soft voice, almost completely drowned out by the others. "Yuuki-kun don't get yourself hurt."
This made Yuuki smile. Mirajane truly treated him well.
"You can still take back your words if you feel that the two of us are too much for you." Gajeel grinned and said.
"Thank you, but there's no need." Yuuki simply smiled at Gajeel's words.
However, Natsu was already getting pissed, feeling as though Yuuki was mocking them. "Gahhh! What are we still waiting for?! Let's fight already!"
Natsu was about to rush toward Yuuki, but Yuuki stopped him with a raised hand. "Wait. The two of you are Dragon Slayers, right?"
Natsu and Gajeel didn't understand where Yuuki was going with the question, but they answered anyway.
"Yeah. What of it?"
Hearing their response, Yuuki's lips curved into a smile that looked slightly playful if one looked closely.
"Then, it should be fair if we fight as Dragon Slayers." Yuuki said.
Natsu and Gajeel narrowed their eyes at Yuuki hearing his words.
The rest of their guildmates was also left dumbfounded. Yuuki's words could only mean that he was also a...
"…Dragon Slayer!?" Lucy was astonished to learn that Yuuki was actually a Dragon Slayer too.
Everyone else quickly realized what Yuuki was implying and immediately erupted into uproar at the thought of having another Dragon Slayer in the guild. With the addition of Yuuki, they will now have five Dragon Slayers in their guild!
However, not everyone joined in the celebration. Laxus, Makarov, Gildarts, and Erza remained calm and composed, quietly watching Yuuki.
"Yuuki-san is actually a Dragon Slayer too? But… why doesn't he smell like one?" Wendy wondered, unsure whether her senses were mistaken.
As everyone in Fairy Tail speculated about whether Yuuki was truly a Dragon Slayer, Yuuki finally spoke up and gave them their answer.
"Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not a Dragon Slayer."
Hearing his words, both Gajeel and Natsu frowned. Natsu looked especially confused and asked, "Then what did you mean by that?"
Yuuki didn't answer Natsu. Instead, he walked toward Wendy, startling her like a little rabbit.
Everyone else also watched curiously, wondering why Yuuki had suddenly approached her. When he finally stopped in front of Wendy, he showed a harmless expression.
"Hello. Your name is Wendy, right?"
Yuuki asked with a gentle smile, careful not to frighten the timid girl. Wendy became flustered and shy, not expecting her new guildmate to suddenly approach her and start a conversation.
"Y-Yes, I'm Wendy Marvell. What does Yuuki-san need from me?" Wendy asked timidly.
"Don't be nervous. I only wanted to ask you a question." Yuuki said softly as he gently patted her head. At the same time, unbeknownst to Wendy, Yuuki activated his Copy Quirk and began copying her Sky Dragon Slayer Magic.
"W-Wendy…" Charles was dumbfounded to see her precious Wendy being patted on the head by a man.
Feeling the warmth of Yuuki's hand on her head, Wendy gradually relaxed and nodded.
With everyone watching, Yuuki then asked, "How would you compare your power to the other Dragon Slayers, Wendy?"
Hearing his question, everyone was confused. They knew Wendy excelled at healing and support, while Natsu and Gajeel were both powerful fighters
Still, after thinking for a moment, Wendy finally answered honestly. "My strength can't compare to Natsu-san and Gajeel-san. I can barely fight, so I can only do my best to use Sky Dragon Slayer Magic to support everyone."
Wendy spoke softly, but there was a determination in her eyes that told Yuuki she wouldn't back down from any challenge.
"Mn. That's a good way of thinking. You're right, Wendy. If you lack the power to fight directly, you can support the others." Yuuki paused for a moment before his lips curled into a faint smile. "However, if you have sufficient strength, you can simply crush everything."
Everyone were still seemed confused by what Yuuki was trying to imply, including Erza, Makarov, and the other powerful mages. However, Yuuki continued his words as he look at Wendy with confidence.
"Wendy, let me tell you something. Among all the Dragon Slayers I know, your Sky Dragon Slaying Magic has the greatest potential." Yuuki said firmly.
Wendy's eyes widened in disbelief at Yuuki's words. Yet, judging by his confident expression, he didn't seem to be joking or lying.
Wendy started to become excited and said "Is it true, Yuuki-san?"
Yuuki nodded confidently.
"Of course it's true. Now, let me show you the true power of Sky Dragon Slaying Magic."
As soon as Yuuki finished speaking, a familiar magic power suddenly erupted from his body, leaving everyone stunned, especially Wendy.
"Is this Copy Magic?"
"It definitely is. Otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to learn that Lost Magic so quickly."
The members of Fairy Tail immediately erupted into another discussion after recognizing Wendy's magic coming from Yuuki.
However, there was something distinctly different about it. Unlike Wendy's gentle and soothing magic, the Sky Dragon Slayer Magic exuding from Yuuki was overbearing, brimming with immense power.
"Now then, shall we start the match?" Yuuki said.
He walked back towards Natsu and Gajeel until only a few meters separated them.
Gajeel was curious about how Yuuki had acquired their kind of magic, asked, "Is that Copy Magic?"
Yuuki didn't need to hide anything, so he simply said "Yeah, something like that."
Finally getting his answer, Gajeel nodded.
"Enough chatting already! Let's fight!" Natsu couldn't hold himself back any longer and rushed toward Yuuki, throwing the first attack.
"Argh! That damn Salamander! He's attacking all by himself again!" Gajeel groaned, feeling helpless at Natsu's sudden charge. Still, he quickly followed after him and attack as well.
"Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!"
"Iron Dragon's Club!"
Yuuki simply watched as Natsu and Gajeel attacked him simultaneously. He didn't even move from his original position, calmly standing there as their attacks drew closer.
However, just as the two attacks were about to hit him, a transparent wall of air suddenly appeared in front of Yuuki, completely blocking both attacks.
"Nani?!" Natsu couldn't help but exclaim when his attack failed to even damage the wind barrier.
"We're only getting started!" Gajeel gritted his teeth as he transformed his Iron Dragon's Club into a sword.
Gajeel was about to rush toward Yuuki again, but he never got the chance. This time, Yuuki was the one who initiated the attack.
"Try not to get beaten so easily..."
With that, Yuuki launched his assault. Using Sky Dragon Slayer Magic as the foundation, he instantly developed a unique martial art specifically suited to the magic by utilizing his Eternal Arms Mastery.
