The Shen family’s old mansion was located in the wealthy western suburbs, covering several thousand square meters. It was a classical-style garden mansion.

Shen Xingdu parked her car in the woods two kilometers away and moved on foot, stealthily.

With her body enhanced by the [Beginner Gene Strengthening Serum], the two-kilometer mountain path felt like a leisurely stroll.Full novel: Starting the Apocalypse with a Hundred-Billion Mansion: I Won Without Lifting a Finger — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

She arrived outside the mansion’s outer wall.

Taking out her phone, she tapped a few buttons.

“Beep.”

The mansion’s infrared alarm system and surveillance cameras instantly switched to looped footage mode.

In the security room, everything appeared normal, but in reality, the footage showing the last five minutes was now being displayed.

Shen Xingdu lightly vaulted over the three-meter-high wall, landing silently like a ghost in the night.

She avoided the patrolling guard dogs and headed straight for the detached building next to the main mansion.

The museum’s main door had a fingerprint lock.

From her bag, Shen Xingdu pulled out a piece of transparent tape with a replica of Shen Hongwei’s fingerprint, secretly obtained at a previous Shen family banquet.

“Click.”

The door opened.

A musty yet luxurious scent wafted out.

Moonlight filtered through the bulletproof glass dome, illuminating the room filled with rare and exotic treasures.

The first floor was the large-item section.

“Zitan wood grand chair? Solid and fire-resistant. Take it.”

“A screen carved from a single jade slab? Nice, recycling it will get a lot of points. Take it.”

“A row of half-person-high cloisonné vases… I may not appreciate them, but the system definitely will. Take it.”

Shen Xingdu moved through the room like she was shopping at a self-service store, and wherever she passed, the display tables went from full to empty instantly.

The system alerts flashed wildly in her mind:

【Beep! Recycled Qing Dynasty Zitan furniture set, gained 2,000 survival points.】

【Beep! Recycled Ming Dynasty blue-and-white porcelain vase, gained 3,000 survival points.】

【Beep! Recycled white marble screen, gained 1,500 survival points.】

Just from the first floor’s large furniture, she gained over 10,000 survival points!

Holding back her excitement, Shen Xingdu moved up to the second floor.

The second floor contained the essence of the collection: calligraphy, jade, and gold and silver vessels.

“Tang Bohu’s painting? Seriously? Doesn’t matter, take it.”

“This box of imperial green jade bracelets… tsk tsk, giving it to that fake Lin Wan’er would be a waste. Take it.”

“And a whole box of large yellow croakers! Shen Hongwei really hid some private money! Take it!”

The more she collected, the more excited she became, and her movements grew faster and faster.

Suddenly, her eyes stopped at a bulletproof glass display case in the center of the gallery.

Inside was an ancient longsword, its scabbard studded with jewels, the hilt glowing with a faint cold light.

【Beep! Special item detected: Ming Dynasty imperial-sanctioned Shangfang sword. Contains concentrated killing aura and historical energy.】

【Recycling grants: 50,000 survival points!】

【Or choose to retain: Can be used as a high-level melee weapon with extra damage to spectral monsters.】

Fifty thousand points!

Shen Xingdu gasped. One sword was worth half a warehouse’s supplies!

She chose to keep it without hesitation.

Although the points were tempting, the system warned that this sword would deal extra damage to spectral creatures. In the late apocalypse, besides zombies and mutated beasts, strange entities would appear. This sword could save her life.

She used hydraulic cutters to open the glass case and held the sword in her hands.

The blade gleamed coldly when unsheathed.

“A fine sword.”

Shen Xingdu stored it in her space with satisfaction.

Having emptied the museum, she didn’t rush to leave.

Since she was here, how could she not take a look at the main mansion?

She slipped silently into the main mansion’s living room.

Upstairs, Shen Hongwei and his family of three were sleeping soundly.

Shen Xingdu stood in the luxurious eight-meter-high living room, looking up at the three-million-yuan Swarovski crystal chandelier.

“This thing… may not be useful, but it sure looks expensive.”

“Take it!”

The massive chandelier vanished into thin air, leaving only a bare ceiling.

Next were the Italian imported leather sofas, Persian handmade carpets, and even the 80-inch LCD TV on the wall—nothing was spared.

“Left to you, it’d be ruined in a flood anyway. Might as well trade it for points.”

In less than ten minutes, the once extremely luxurious living room was cleaner than a bare concrete shell. Even the curtains had been torn down and taken.

Having finished, Shen Xingdu looked toward the second floor.

That was the direction of Lin Wan’er’s room.

“Since I’m already here, it’d be rude not to pay a visit, wouldn’t it?”
