Remembering Kiana’s “nyah nyah nyah,” she couldn’t quite keep her composure in check.
“Ant!”
The Queen in the consciousness-space was a little rattled, and Kiana’s head promptly hurt worse—though the headache lasted only a moment, and right now the Queen couldn’t influence Kiana to any great degree.
Wants to Buy an Island: Yuexi, who is this voice that appears in Kiana’s head?
Seeing Raven’s question, Xiyue wore a mysterious smile and answered with manufactured suspense.
“She’s a pufferfish~”
The instant Xiyue finished, Kiana’s head throbbed again—and Xiyue, of course, had no idea her words were bringing Kiana grief.
She pressed on with the story.
Kiana woke from the dream, looked at the people before her, then hugged Mei beside her and wheedled.
“Mei, ngh… I’m hungry!”
Looking at Kiana like this, Mei gave a gentle smile and held her close.
“Then let’s hurry back!
I’ll cook for you~”

Xiyue shot a glance over and noticed Elysia hadn’t said anything, which struck her as a little odd.
At a sweet moment like this, Elysia should’ve been the first to chime in with a comment—why hadn’t she shown up this time?
And what was Elysia up to right now?
She was facing a Mobius who looked ready to murder her—but with Mei and Kiana’s exchange in her ears, and her eyes on a Mobius who was about to hurl something at her, she mimicked Kiana’s wheedling tone and said to Mobius.
“Dr.
Mobius, I’m hungry—cook for me, won’t you~”
And the instant the words left her mouth, Mobius’s face turned to frost.
Looking at the all-smiles Elysia, and remembering her inexplicable behavior these past few days, Mobius laughed in sheer exasperation.
Her eyes narrowed; mimicking Elysia’s tone, she said with a smile.
“Sure thing, Lady Elysia.
You just wait right here for me like a good girl—I’ll go cook for you.
But you have to finish every bite, okay?”
With that, she turned and walked into the lab.
Elysia just stared blankly at the scene.
She’d assumed Snake would fly into a rage—but to her surprise, Mobius had actually gone off to cook for her.
Then again, was anything Mobius cooked even edible?

Then everyone below, except Theresa, chimed in agreement.
“No more chitchat—now let’s keep going into Chapter 3’s main story.
But before that, let’s switch Valkyries.”
With that, she tapped into the home page and clicked to claim her mail.
Then a figure overflowing with imperious presence, looking down on all creation, appeared across most of the screen—especially those self-supreme golden eyes and that gaze brimming with mockery, instantly seizing everyone’s attention.
Xiyue said nothing more—she just swapped out the White Comet for the Herrscher of the Void, looking at the Subspace Lances ringing the Queen’s back, and the Queen’s ant-regarding stare.
Xiyue felt that hit the spot in an instant.
Back in the day, to pull this woman she’d nearly burned her liver to a crisp, dead certain the Queen was everything, the Queen was god eternal—until HoR Bronya came along, at which point the Queen got benched in the warehouse, never to appear again.
Kitty Snuggles: Whew, this one looks so imposing—though a bit fierce too.

Seeing the Queen on screen who looked so strikingly like her, Kiana realized something.
She lifted her head and, with a stricken face, said to Mei.
“Mei, my scumbag of a dad—he actually cheated on Mom!
How awful.”
Hearing Kiana, Mei was a little stunned.

Watching Kiana and the Queen launch into their usual squabble, Xiyue shook her head.
It wasn’t time to spoil things yet—though the system really was something, inviting both Kiana and the Queen into the same stream.
“Who is she?
You’ll find out later~”
“For now, let’s just call her the Queen.”

And hearing Xiyue call her the Queen, the Herrscher of the Void gave a satisfied nod.
“A discerning ant.
When I get out, this Queen will let you die a few seconds later.”
And Xiyue, unaware that this line meant the Queen was graciously granting her a few extra seconds of life, swept a glance over the chat, shrugged at Elysia’s threat, and clicked into Chapter 3’s plot, Poem of the Wind.
As always, it opened with several exquisite CGs, accompanied by Himeko’s lovely voice.
[Per the message left by Selene, the Valkyries begin their mission to search for the 4 Gems.
The first place they must head is the Oceania Branch, in New Zealand.]
[There, the Gem of Desire awaits them.]
The words had barely faded when, at the Oceania Branch—being toyed with by all manner of machines, eyes shut in numb resignation—the teal-haired girl snapped her eyes wide open.
She stared hard at the screen, her breathing growing ragged.
She murmured softly in her heart.
Are they coming for me?
Then, in the game, the Queen turned her back on the audience, spread her hands, and watched Himeko and Kiana’s conversation.
Watching this, Xiyue thought it was pretty funny—the whole Final Lesson cast was assembled now.
She shook her head; the story went on.
Kiana and the other two arrived at the Oceania Branch to look for the Gem.
Kiana wore a puzzled expression.
“Himeko, what’s the Gem of Desire?”
“Fourteen years ago, Schicksal obtained three high-density Honkai energy crystals, one of which was called the Gem of Desire.”
“Three years ago, Schicksal launched a classified research project, hoping to use this crystal to develop weaponry capable of rivaling a Herrscher.
Unfortunately, the research failed, and it was kept at the Oceania Branch.”
Then it entered the in-game Zombie-clearing mode.
Although the Queen, as Herrscher-type characters gradually appeared, slowly lost her status as Abyss Queen, the feel of playing her was still top-notch.
First, her looks: that imperious stare plus her queenly voice, with gorgeous effects.
Then her strength: ample crowd control, high damage, fast dodges, quick SP, and ranged attacks that—unlike Bronya’s artillery ballistics back then—landed with utterly satisfying impact.
All these factors together made the Queen the most popular Valkyrie in Honkai at the time, the Abyss Queen.
Back then, if someone pulled the Queen, they’d get kicked out of the group chat.
In her past life that was exactly what happened to her—she pulled the Queen on a single draw, posted it in the group chat to flex, and got booted from the team.
A familiar sound rang out: SP fully charged.
Xiyue tapped the ultimate, and the Queen floated into the air, regarding the Honkai Beasts below with that ant-watching gaze.
She swept both hands down lightly, gracefully, and an ethereal, imperious voice rang out.
“Now—it is the hour of judgment!”

I’m trying my best to keep the names and terminology as familiar as possible for you guys, but there are definitely going to be things I miss or don’t know.
