The gacha interface looked exactly as she remembered from her past life: Dorm Supply, Expansion Supply, Focused Supply, Outfit Supply, ELF.

Xiyue checked her Crystal count and spoke lightly.

She reached for the top-up button.

As someone drawing two separate salaries, she wasn’t exactly hurting for funds—might as well experience the full whale package, just once.

〖System〗 Top-up service not yet active.

Please check back later.

Xiyue’s expression dropped.

“One star.

Absolutely disgraceful.”

“Blocking top-ups in a game that’s supposed to have them—the greatest disrespect imaginable to any dedicated spender!”

She glanced at the chat and caught Kiana’s comment.

The laugh slipped out before she caught herself.

Professional composure, she reminded herself.

“No no no—look at the names of Kiana’s Valkyrie battlesuits, and you’ll understand.”

No Exams Thanks: Huh?

Xiyue took in this fresh-hatched Tuna fan and almost felt bad about what she was about to say.

Almost.

“White Comet, White Comet—train with her and you’ve trained in vain.

Knight Moonbeam has fallen behind.

The Queen is out of meta.

Void Drifter can’t carry the heavy content.

In the current Paramecium Family lineup, flame-kitty Flamescion reigns supreme!”

“This patch belongs to Flamescion.”

“And the character we’re pulling right now is the Herrscher of Flamescion—Kiana.”

The moment Xiyue said this, all three viewers in the stream went quiet.

The weight of what she’d just revealed was considerable, and the biggest reaction came from Kiana—who’d been half-asleep and missed the entire opening PV.

She was lying with her chin on the table.

The word “Herrscher” cut through the fog like a blade.

She nearly fell off her chair.

As a Valkyrie candidate about to receive her D-rank certification, she knew exactly what a Herrscher was.

She had very personal reasons to know—there was one living inside Mei right now.

Her eyes went blank.

She swayed.

“I…

became a Herrscher?”

Then she shook her head, hard.

“Impossible.

Impossible.

Absolutely, categorically impossible.”

“A Kaslana becoming a Herrscher—that’s not happening.

It cannot happen.”

“This has to be fake!”

Her fingers flew.

No Exams Thanks: IMPOSSIBLE!

No Exams Thanks: Kiana Kaslana is going to become Schicksal’s strongest Valkyrie.

She is NOT going to become some villain Herrscher!!

Elysia’s reaction was noticeably calmer—though she had now catalogued that a Herrscher of Fire would exist among the future roster, which meant she could begin preparing early.

Raven, still working as an independent mercenary commissioned by the World Serpent at this point in her life, didn’t entirely follow what everyone was reacting to.

She expressed her bewilderment the only way available.

Wants to Buy an Island: _(:з」∠)_

The comment stopped Xiyue cold.

This viewer knows that Kiana’s original dream was to become Schicksal’s strongest Valkyrie.

She narrowed her eyes, something clicking into place—though she wasn’t certain yet.

She’d been planning to explain why Kiana would eventually become Flamescion, but something about that message had shifted her thinking.

“As for that,” Xiyue said, “—you’ll find out once I clear the main story.”

“Easy now.

Patience.”

Kiana, who had been hanging on every word in expectation of an actual answer, went rigid with fury.

Her hands slammed the table.

“I am FURIOUS!”

“Half an answer, then nothing—I curse you to spend the rest of your life single!!”

Xiyue, entirely unaware she’d just been passionately cursed, was staring at the Expansion Supply interface with barely concealed reverence.

Flamescion’s pose—sword raised, weight perfectly balanced—was genuinely breathtaking.

“I have to say—Herrscher of Flamescion is stunning.”

“This is Kiana at her absolute peak.”

“Slurp.

Of all the future Valkyries, the only one who even comes close is Herrscher of Human: Ego.”

“Anyway.

Let’s do the ten-pull.”

Elysia watched the stream with her characteristic warm smile, genuinely curious about meeting this Herrscher of Flamescion someday—she seemed fascinating.

But when Xiyue mentioned Herrscher of Human: Ego, something shifted.

Elysia’s body gave a small involuntary tremor.

Her pink eyes flickered with something that was not quite composure.

No Exams Thanks: Okay, fine—this version of Kiana is obviously NOT a Herrscher, she’s clearly just becoming an incredible S-rank Valkyrie—!

Kiana looked at herself on-screen, and something lifted.

She bounced out of her chair with a laugh.

“Ahahahaha!”

She spun around to check no one was watching, and immediately ran to wrap her arms around Mei from behind—Mei, who was still in the middle of stir-frying.

“Mei, Mei—I’m going to be so cool in the future.

Right?

Right?

Hehehe.”

Mei, caught off guard by the sudden ambush, managed a half-patient, half-resigned exhale.

“Yes, yes—Kiana will be the coolest.”

“Dinner’s almost ready.

Go get Bronya and Himeko-sensei, afternoon class is soon.”

“Behave, Kiana.”

Kiana gave Mei’s back one last nuzzle, then returned to her seat and kept watching the miraculous stream, blissfully unaware of what Xiyue’s hints actually meant.

To her, right now, it was just fun.

Xiyue had tuned out the chat entirely.

She closed her eyes and began her ritual, speaking with complete sincerity.

“Firefly, Firefly, Firefly.”

“My Elysia—please bless me!”

“Ely-men!”

She tapped.

A blue Homu airdrop crate appeared, and a flash of gold lit the screen.

Rather than agonizing over each item reveal one by one, she rapidly clicked through to see the final results all at once.

Checking them one by one would be torture.

She still wasn’t looking at the game screen—she was watching the chat, slightly breathless.

“Everyone—did I pull Flamescion?”

The answer came immediately.

Miss Pink Elf♪: Little cutie~, you pulled the Herrscher of Flamescion!

Wants to Buy an Island: (✺ω✺)

Xiyue’s face broke into pure elation.

She grabbed her second phone and looked—Flamescion, sword raised, radiant in full detail.

She could not stop smiling.

She’d single-pulled Flamescion once in her past life, but landing her at the very start of this new run felt like something else entirely.

That joy didn’t have a name.

She dismissed the three-star items without ceremony and opened the Valkyrie tab.

Only two Valkyries unlocked so far, everything else grayed out and locked.

She spoke with absolute certainty.

“We’ve only got two Valkyries right now—but every single one of them will be ours eventually.”

“The Queen, ReasonDuck, CookingHerrscher, Senti, Human: Ego—every last one.”

“We have a brilliant future ahead of us.”

She was too excited to manage the filter between her brain and her mouth, and told her viewers exactly that.

Then she opened the Valkyrie menu and began walking the chat through the basics—weapons, Stigmata, the other gacha pools.

During this segment the chat fell unusually quiet; even No Exams Thanks, who’d been flooding the screen since the beginning, went still.

When she finished, the System chimed.

〖System〗 First stream approaching the one-hour limit.

〖System〗 Three minutes until stream ends.

Host, please take note.

Xiyue felt the reluctance before she understood why.

She’d barely hit her stride, and the hour had already vanished.

One hour was nothing at all.

But there was nothing to be done.

She turned to address her viewers.

“One of this game’s greatest draws is its main story—what you might call ‘healing’ content.” She let the irony sit for a moment.

“Spanning everything from the Previous Era to ancient Current Era history, event stories, modern storylines, all of it.

Genuinely fascinating.”

“Tomorrow we stream the main story content—stay tuned~”

“Today’s stream ends here.

I really hate to end it here.”

“Bye-bye—see you tomorrow~”
