The four generals could not believe their ears when they heard Lukas request, even the dragons were taken aback by his words.
"Lukas you must be mistaken, you know as a mage class you cannot learn swordsmanship, right? Tristin said to Lukas.
"I know about that uncle Tristin" Lukas replied to him.
"Then if you know that, then why do you still insist then?" Veya looked at him with surprise.
"I want to follow the path of the sword as I follow that of magic" Lukas said to Veya.
Everyone was stunned at his reply.
"Lukas you are a mage and you clearly know it, that you cannot learn the way of another class" Lena spoke.
"Kiddo, even if you are training your body to be stronger than what a mages body should be, but because of the universal class restriction, it stops one from learning the ways of another class" Gato explained to Lukas.
"I understand your words generals but I have made up my mind" Lukas smiled as he looked at his father.
"Is the young one been serious right now? How can he want to learn the path of another class when he has his own class?" Solvaria was taken aback.
"Thinking of it, it sounds too absurd but why would the monarch’s son want to learn the sword when he is a mage?" Trycan looked at Lukas with disbelief.
"To me, this sounds impossible. to try out the path of another class when that is not your awakened class" the white dragon said its mind, as even it found it like a myth or more of a joke.
"What do you know, seeing the boy’s confidence, I am thrilled to see if he could actually do it" Velastria had an amused look on her face.
"Huh" Solvaria, Trycan and the white dragon looked at Velastria with surprise.
"Valeric tell your son, that what he asks of is impossible" Tristin turned towards Valeric.
"Do you know how many times I have tried to tell this boy that a mage learning the way of the sword is theoretically impossible but he ever listens and he has been adamant about it" Valeric replied to him.
"Look Lukas even if you could swing a sword very well, move, defend, parry and attack like a swordsman, you can never learn their techniques" Veya tried to convince Lukas to give up the idea.
Lukas went quiet as he looked at everyone, they weren’t trying to stop him, they were telling him the fact that the universal class restriction stops one from doing so, but Lukas just smiled, he was Adam someone originally not from this world, he just inhabits this body.
Those restrictions don’t apply to him in anyway, the system had made it clear he could use weapon-based attacks and learn them that as a transmigrator such rules doesn’t apply to him.
"Farther you said power is forged right?" Lukas asked his father.
"Yes, I did" Valeric answered.
"You said that power is forged through discipline, dedication and hard work, right?" Lukas said again
"Of course I did" Valeric replied
"Then I want to forge my power through the blade and magic!" Lukas said finally.
Everyone went quiet as they heard him, they were stunned by his strong resolve, this wasn’t the Lukas they had always knew, the person before them felt different.
A chuckle escaped Valeric’s lips as he heard Lukas words.
"You truly are one stubborn lad, just like me. Then if you so say I won’t disagree, it’s up to you whether you can do it or not" A grin spread across Valeric’s lips as he walked towards Lukas.
"Valeric you actually agreed?" Tristin was surprised.
"How can a father deny his own son the right to forge his path of power, its all up to him whether he can succeed or not" Valeric replied to him
"Well son since you are determined to forge your own path of power so be it then but remember its up to you whether you succeed or not" Valeric said to Lukas as he stood before him.

A holographic screen appeared within Lukas view, when he saw it, he smiled.
"Don’t worry father I won’t fail" Lukas replied confidently.
"You seem confident, very well then let’s get moving" Valeric placed a hand on Lukas shoulder, in the blink of an eye they disappeared from the platform and appeared in the swordman class training section of the arena instantly.
’That...was too fast! just in the blink of an eye we vanished and appeared here?’
Lukas was stunned by such speed.
"HALT!" an instructor ordered as Valeric and Lukas appeared within their midst.
The new recruits halted their training the instant they heard the instructor’s voice.
"Greetings O, Monarch!" the instructors and new recruits bowed as they greeted Valeric.
"Be blessed" Valeric replied to their greeting.
The new recruits bowing before Valeric buzzed with excitement as they could not believe they got to see Count Valeric, Monarch of House Lyon, face to face, one of the top ten strongest warriors in the Kingdom.
Even the spectators turned their attention towards the swordsman class training section and when their eyes landed on Valeric, everyone was surprised and everyone stood up.
"GREETINGS O, MONARCH!!" Everyone echoed at the same time as they placed a hand on their left chest in salute.
’So, this is what it’s to be powerful and strong’
Lukas looked at the people saluting at his father. Meanwhile Valeric just waved at them.
"Alright I would love you all to lend us the training ground because I have to teach my son here swordsmanship" Valeric smiled at them as he spoke.
"Greetings Young Master" every instructor and recruit echoed at once while they bowed.
"I can’t really get use to the young master respectfully stuff’
Lukas thought as he waved at them awkwardly.
"You heard the Monarch, everyone leave the grounds this instant and no one is allowed to enter still the Monarch is done" the head instructor who was a woman said to everyone.
"O, Monarch you can use the grounds as you see fit to teach he young master" The woman said respectfully as everyone exited the grounds without complain.
"It’s okay, we just want to use it for at most 1 hour" Valeric said to her.
"As you wish" The woman bowed and then left.
Soon everyone left. Leaving only Valeric and Lukas. The spectators switched their focus towards father and son, eager to see their training display.
Those with sword class even brought out notes ready to jot down any move, Valeric was going to tech Lukas.
"Alright boy, we begin" Valeric stretched his hand towards a weapon rack containing wooden weapons of all kinds.
A blue and crimson light glowed on his outstretched hand, two wooden swords rattled from within the rack, the same light wrapped both wooden weapons.
With a hand gesture, the two swords rose out of the rack and flew towards Valeric still wrapped in the light. The two wooden swords hovered in front Valeric.
"I call this Aura control" Valeric said as he gestured the other sword towards Lukas which hovered towards him and Lukas took it, the light vanishing as he did.
"You know Aura is an affinity tied to the weapon-based class but not every weapon class can awaken aura, the Aura affinity is mostly tied to Knight and Swordsman classes, we awaken this affinity alongside an elemental affinity." Valeric taught as he stood before Lukas.
"Yes, other weapon class could awaken the Aura affinity during their awakening but its rare" Valeric replied to him.
"What you are trying to say is that to be a true swordsman I must have an Aura Affinity? Then what is the difference between and Aura affinity and the aura released from one’s body?" Luka asked his father.
"The aura released from one’s body is what we call energy signature of a person’s power, while aura is a different power on its own which can bring techniques to life by infusing that power alongside mana which serve as a catalyst and fuel to form the technique as far it’s pictured in your head" Valeric explained to him.
"So, it’s just like magic, imagine the form and then create the form right" Lukas looked at Valeric.
"Yes, it’s the same way" Valeric replied. "What I did before to move these wooden swords without touching them is Aura control or mainly known as Aura manipulation!"
When Lukas heard Valeric’s last words he was surprised because he knew he had seen it among is locked innate ability.
’So, this mean I can use Aura? But it wasn’t shown in my attribute nor affinity?’
Lukas could not understand how? Then Ava appeared by his side.
<Yes, you can use the Aura element> Ava said to him.
’What! But it wasn’t displayed on my attributes?’
Lukas was stunned.
<Aura is part of you, due to the Universal Class restriction and as a mage, you can’t have aura, so when I had tired to display it as part of your attributes, it was rejected by the world’s will. Even if the world rejects it, it’s already part of you and you can use It, with an Ommi-Elemental affinity and a close combat mage class, Aura is an element you can use> Ava explained with a smile’No wonder Aura manipulation was part of my innate ability, no wonder the system asked me to learn swordsmanship under my father, it all comes together’
Lukas smiled, he could definitely learn swordsmanship.
"Wait! is the monarch trying to teach his son swordsmanship I thought his son awakened a mage class?" A man asked the woman beside him.
"Yes, I heard so, it does not make any sense, once a class is awakened you can’t learn the way of another class, so what’s going on?" The woman replied to the man as she herself was feeling confused.
The spectators whispered between themselves as they could not believe that a mage class was trying to learn the way of the sword when he was not a swordsman, it felt absurd.to think of.
"First of all, Lukas, have you practiced to swing the sword before?" Valeric looked at him with narrowed eyes’Although the former Lukas did not lift a sword but back on earth I trained with a sword since energy blades were part of melee weapons we used against the Nexomorphs in close combat’
Adam remembered his sword practice class back on earth in the training camps, he could remember the instructor who was a Japanese and had taught them how to use their blades like a swordsman.
Then Adam had been thrilled by the man’s display in using his blades in training and both on the battlefield, that had pushed him to practice with his blade harder.
He could remember the man’s recognition, after he saw his blade skill after much hard work, he had felt happy after been acknowledged by the man who had taught them.
"I think do know a little, Father" Lukas said.
Valeric was taken aback a little by his reply.
’So, he has been practicing in secret all this while? Then how come did I nor Eve notice?’ Valeric thought to himself.
"Then show me" Valeric said to him.
"As you wish father" Lukas took a stance, holding the hilt of the wooden sword with just a single grip, took a stance he remembered when he trained with his blade back on earth.
He got ready.
