The door of Lukas chamber burst opened as three figures dashed in, the three people stood at the door dumbfounded as they looked at Lukas with shock and disbelief.
One was a man, he had a flowing white hair which reached his shoulder, his almond-colored eyes were gold under the light, he had broad shoulders and a well-built physique, he was wearing an open sleeve silk white shirt and soft trousers made of linen.
This was Lukas father, Valeric Lyon, Monarch of the Lyon House.
Standing beside him with eyes widened in shock, was a woman, wavy blond hair which reached her waist, blue eyes which looked like sapphire, soft red lips, a delicate nose with oval shaped face.
She had an hour-glass figure with a mature beauty, she was in a day dress, it was a simple gown with short sleeves made of fine wool.
This was his mother, Eve Lyon, wife of Valeric Lyon.
The third person was Lukas elder sister and first child of the House of Lyon, she had a Long blond hair and almond-colored eyes like their father, red lips like their mother, that same hour glass figure and an ample chest.
Both mother and daughter’s eyes were red and puffed from crying which Adam noticed quickly.
His mother stepped unable to believe her eyes that her son which had died in her arms was right there sitting up, breathing and alive.
"Lu...Lukas" Her voice trembled, tears whelming up in her eyes as she stepped closer towards him.
Adam just smiled at her.
She let her tears out, crying as she stepped towards him and hugged him instantly, tears streamed endlessly down her cheeks.
"Lukas...you are alive" She cried, tears dripping endlessly as she held Lukas tightly.
Adam froze, the feeling of been hugged again by a mother he had always wished for, washed over him warmly, the feeling made his heart race and body calm.
The face of his mother from earth flashed in his memory, his heart tightened as he remembered her smile, her rebukes, correction and encouragements.
His eyes watered, the pain of losing his mother to the Nexomorphs resurfaced, how their med transport had been attacked during the fourth year of the invasion and he wasn’t able to protect her despite been among the med team escort.
He remembered as he held his dying mother’s hand as she smiled at him even while dying.
He cried, hot tears streaming down his cheeks, as he accepted the warm embrace of Lukas Mother.
"We...thought you had" The words got stuck in Lukas mother’s throat as she cried.
Even in tears, Eve’s eyes held surprise at Lukas hugging her back firmly while crying. She pulled him closer.
"I am sorry for leaving on your own" She apologize as she cried.
When Adam heard that word, he froze, those where the same last words of his mother.
He cried, letting all the emotion of pain and regret come out.
This was the feeling he wanted, the feeling of having a mother again, the embrace of a mother he had wished to experience again.
"This is...hard to believe but you are alive and not dead, I don’t know if I am dreaming or not" She teared as she looked at Lukas who had tears in his eyes.
"Mum it’s not a dream; I am really alive" Lukas said to her.
"it’s truly not a dream" She cried holding him closer
Then Lukas sister approached them both, tears already in her eyes as she looked at Lukas. Their father stepped behind her.
Adam looked at Lukas elder sister, her name was Bella Lyon, first child and daughter of house Lyon, a prodigy one would say.
Unlike Lukas who awakened a low tier class and talent, his sister on the other hand was a genius who awakened a legendary class like their mother and a heavenly tier talent.
"Lukas is that really you" Bella asked as she looked at him with tears in her eyes.
"Yes, it’s me big sis" Adam smiled at her.
As their mother broke from the embrace, Bella embraced him instantly, burying her face in his chest as she cried.
"It’s really you" tears streamed down Bella’s cheeks as she embraced him "You’re not dead" she kept crying.
Adam let himself sink into her embrace, then smile "Don’t worry sis, I won’t leave like that anymore, I promise" he smiled as he placed his hand on her head.
Bella looked at him with surprise, his smile the way he spoke, it felt different.
Their father walked up to them as Bella separated herself from Lukas.
"My boy...its really you" Valeric smiled as tears slipped down his cheeks silently, even a strong man cries and he is a father at that.
"Father..." Adam looked at this man standing before him with tears in his eyes, even if he was powerful, but seeing his dead son alive before him made him cry.
It was not weakness it was humanity of father who loved his children dearly.
It reminded Adam of his own dad who was a police officer, a man who protected his family with his life during the first invasion.
"Seems the gods decided to show my family mercy and bring you back to us" Valeric smiled as he placed his hand on Lukas head.
Feeling the hand on his head, Adam felt something shift inside of him, the same way his father would encourage him with a hand on his head.
Adam teared up in silence.
"This is it unbelievable, it’s like a dream but it’s not" Eve said, teas still in her eyes
"Mother it’s not a dream, I am here" Adam took Eve’s hand, as he smiled at her.
"Yes, its not" She smiled back at him.
"I don’t how this was possible but I don’t care" Bella spoke as she wrapped her hand around Lukas waist, leaning on him.
She clearly wasn’t letting go anytime soon.
’Damn His sister just placed her entire load on my body, I might die again" Adam thought to himself, the body was still weak from recovering since Adam took over the body.
"Bella get off from your brother’s body, his body shows sign of weakness" Eve pulled Bella away from Lukas, despite she protesting.
"Its best I heal him because of his weakened state" Eve placed her hand above Lukas head.
Then a vibrant green white circle bloomed beneath her palm above Lukas head, five concentric rings linked by twelve curved glyphs that looked like teardrops with looping tails. At its heart, a six?petal flower turned slowly, shedding motes of gold.
Lukas body lit up in color of green and gold, as his mother casted a healing spell.
’Magic!’ Adam was deeply surprised by it, magic had been something he had only read in novels and manga, but seeing it first hand was something else, it felt surreal and mystical.
From Lukas memory, Adam instantly knew this wasn’t an ordinary healing magic, it was a star spark grade healing spell.
All the weakness Adam had felt in the body, instantly washed away in the blink of an eye, even his skin became brighter, his body felt more alive and full of energy.
Adam looked at his hands, he felt fresh and reborn
’is this how healing magic feels?’ Adam thought to himself as he examined the body.
He felt full of energy and could even step out of bed right now.
"So how do you feel my child" Eve asked as she retraced her hand, the healing spell rune dissipating into thin air, like green mist
"I feel great and much better" Adam now Lukas replied to her.
"That’s great to hear" Eve smiled. "Its truly a miracle for you to be alive although I don’t know why, but I am glad" Eve placed her hand on Lukas cheek.
"Mother there is no need to know the how or why, aren’t you happy that I am here alive before you and father’s very eyes" Adam spoke.
Meanwhile Eve just looked at Lukas with surprise in her eyes.
"I don’t know why but you sound different...." Eve looked into his eyes.
’Crap!’ Adam panicked internally.
"How I am different mother, its still me, Lukas" He flashed her a smile. ’Sorry ma, but your real son is gone’ Adam apologized internally to her.
Eve was about to say something, when a sound came from Luka’s belly.

Everyone looked at Lukas.
"I guess, I am hungry" He smiled at them as he scratched his head awkwardly.
Eve just shook her head then spoke.
"Don’t worry, I will get the head maid, Beatrice to prepare something for you" She prepared to get up.
"Mother please wait" Adam stopped her.
’I can’t have someone else prepare what I will eat, although Beatrice the head maid is a very kind woman who raised Lukas from little alongside his mother, I can’t still trust any servant in this house. It’s better for his mother to do it’
Given the former Lukas had already died from poison which was placed in his breakfast, was already a red alert already, they might do same again.
To play it safe and not lose this second life he got, he had to ask Eve, now his mother to do it.
"Any problem my child?" Eve asked.
Adam breathed out first then he spoke.
"Mother I though it will be better if you made the food yourself" Adam said to her as he rubbed the back of his neck.
Silence that was what followed.
Eve smiled brightly as she heard him.
"This is the first time you have asked me to make food for you personally and I understand why, given what happened but it’s a good call that even I myself was careless of" she said to him "Just wait, I will back in 15 minutes with something mouthwatering"
She then turned around and began walking away with a smile on her face.
’That smile’ Adam watched her leave as she stepped out of his room.
That smile on your face, I promise to keep it on your face. God has given me another chance at another life; I will make sure I use the best of it.
I have been granted a family like no other and I will make sure they won’t cry any longer, Lukas I am really sorry about your death, but I Adam Walton will fully take up my role as Lukas Lyon, son of Valeric and Eve Lyon from this day onward.
Those who killed you, Lukas I will make sure i kill them myself and avenge your death and keep your family safe.
Adam declared to himself as he made his mind, he was going to live this life to the fullest.
