Chen Yu began taking Han Yan outside Steel Armor Shelter to hunt creatures regularly.
At first, he only intended to help her understand the sanctuary better.
But after several hunts—
he realized something surprising.
Han Yan learned extremely fast.
Very fast.
Whether it was:
tracking
movement
timing
observing creature habits
She adapted quickly.
Much faster than ordinary beginners.
Inside the wilderness near Steel Armor Shelter, Han Yan carefully faced an ordinary creature alone for the first time while Chen Yu observed quietly from behind.
The creature was an ordinary Grey Fang Beast.
Not powerful.
But dangerous enough for newcomers.
Han Yan gripped her weapon tightly while circling the creature cautiously.
She did not rush forward recklessly.
Instead, she waited patiently for an opening.
The Grey Fang Beast suddenly lunged toward her.
At that moment—
Han Yan sidestepped quickly before stabbing directly into its neck.
Blood splashed across the ground.
The creature struggled briefly before collapsing.
> [Ordinary Creature: Grey Fang Beast killed.]
Han Yan stared at the corpse silently for several seconds before slowly exhaling.
Her breathing was rough.
But her eyes remained calm.
Chen Yu walked toward her quietly.
"You adapted faster than expected," he admitted honestly.
Han Yan smiled slightly after hearing that.
Afterward, both of them sat near the forest quietly while cooking the creature meat together.
Inside God's Sanctuary, eating together after surviving a hunt created trust naturally.
Days slowly turned into weeks.
Then one month passed.
During that time, Han Yan continuously hunted beside Chen Yu.
And eventually—
her growth speed became shocking.
Inside her room at Steel Armor Shelter, Han Yan silently looked toward her sanctuary panel.
> [Sanctuary Panel]
Name: Han Yan
Ordinary Geno Points: 100 / 100
Primitive Geno Points: 100 / 100
Even Chen Yu felt surprised.
Although he already knew the Han family possessed excellent talent…
this speed still felt abnormal.
After leaving the shelter later that day, Chen Yu and Han Yan continued exploring wilderness areas farther away from beginner hunting zones.
The deeper regions near lakes and forests contained more dangerous creatures.
But also more opportunities.
The wind moved quietly across the lake surface while both searched the surrounding area carefully.
Then—
Chen Yu suddenly froze.
Near the edge of the water…
a golden beetle slowly crawled across a rock.
His pupils contracted instantly.
Golden shell.
Crystal-like eyes.
Almost identical to the mysterious beetle connected to Han Sen's black crystal in Super Gene.
For a moment, Chen Yu's thoughts became chaotic.
Impossible.
He always believed the black crystal was unique to Han Sen.
But now—
another golden beetle appeared before him.
Han Yan noticed his expression immediately.
"What happened?" she asked quietly.
Chen Yu stared at the golden beetle silently.
"I… don't know."
That was the truth.
He genuinely did not know anymore.
Had the future changed?
Or had there always been more than one?
The golden beetle moved slowly near the lakeside rocks.
Han Yan looked toward him seriously.
"What do we do?"
Chen Yu quickly forced himself to calm down.
No matter what secrets the beetle contained—
they first needed to survive.
After observing the surroundings carefully, Chen Yu immediately formed a plan.
"I'll confront it from the front," he said quietly.
Han Yan nodded silently.
"You hide underground near the rocks."
Her beast soul possessed underground concealment ability, making surprise attacks possible.
"If an opening appears," Chen Yu continued calmly, "attack its weak point immediately."
Han Yan understood instantly.
No unnecessary words were needed.
After hunting together for over a month, their coordination had already become natural.
The wind near the lake became quieter.
The golden beetle continued crawling slowly across the rock surface.
Meanwhile—
Han Yan silently disappeared beneath the ground.
