After arriving at the hotel, Xia Wan had just entered her room when the masseuse Sister Nan had arranged for her arrived.

“I’ll get the door,” Xiao Xiao quickly rose from her chair.

“I’d like to take a shower first before the massage, could you wait a moment?” Xia Wan asked the masseuse who had just entered.Full novel: Surprise! Explosion! The Godly Face Top Streamer is Live Streaming Sweetness! — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

She had been about to shower when the masseuse unexpectedly arrived so quickly.

Having sweated during the concert, she now felt sticky all over and didn’t want to receive a massage in this state.

The masseuse, realizing her client was the famous star Xia Wan, couldn’t quite contain her excitement. “Of course, of course,” she said, though a slight tremble was detectable in her voice.

As a masseuse at this hotel—the best in Hong Kong—she had massaged many female celebrities who stayed here while working in the city. But Xia Wan was definitely among the few most polite artists she had encountered.

More importantly, she discovered that Xia Wan was even more beautiful in person than on screen.

After her shower, Xia Wan emerged from the bathroom wearing a bathrobe, having removed her makeup while washing up.

Though completely bare-faced, her skin showed almost no flaws—fair as jade with a luminous quality. Her captivating eyes now carried a lazy charm that made her even more alluring.

“Wan Wan, your skin is just too perfect,” Xiao Xiao couldn’t help exclaiming, as she always did when seeing Xia Wan without makeup.

The masseuse nearby nodded in agreement—this was absolutely the most beautiful bare-faced celebrity she had ever seen.

Xia Wan walked to the bed and lay down, waiting for the massage to begin. “Didn’t I give you the same skincare set I use? If you keep using it consistently, your skin will improve too.”

“I have been using it regularly,” Xiao Xiao walked over to check her reflection in the mirror. “You know, Wan Wan, my skin actually has gotten a bit better—less dull and sallow than before.”

Her complexion wasn’t dark, just somewhat yellowish with occasional clogged pores. She attributed her sallow skin to late nights, though she noted that Wan Wan also often stayed up late yet never experienced this problem—her skin remained smooth, tender, and radiantly fair.

After Xiao Xiao once asked what skincare products Wan Wan used to maintain such fair, delicate skin, she received a complete skincare set and several different types of facial masks the very next day.

Xia Wan relaxed into the massage. “When you do your skincare, use generous amounts—don’t skimp. Just tell me when you run out, and I’ll get you more.”

Xiao Xiao immediately waved her hands in refusal. “That’s not necessary, Wan Wan, I can buy them myself.”

Occasional gifts were one thing, but continuously accepting skincare products from Wan Wan made her feel somewhat guilty and embarrassed. Though truthfully, she probably wouldn’t splurge on such expensive items herself—she knew the prices, and a full set would cost several months of her salary.

“Don’t worry about it,” Xia Wan reassured. “You know I have plenty of these things.” Between her own shopping habits and the countless products brands sent her—even without her endorsing them—she had more than enough.

While a skincare set might be expensive for Xiao Xiao, for Xia Wan it was negligible.

Xiao Xiao recalled the dedicated room in Xia Wan’s Beijing home—completely filled with skincare products and cosmetics. Every cabinet and drawer was packed full, far more than anyone could possibly use up.Xia Wan had also told her that if there were any products suitable for her skin type inside, she could take them freely.

Her money was practically useless—food, daily necessities, and clothing were basically all taken care of by Wan Wan, who often gifted her brand-new clothes.

The masseuse’s technique was extremely skilled, leaving Xia Wan feeling thoroughly relaxed.

“Xiao Xiao, you can go rest now. There’s no need to stay here with me.” Earlier, she had asked her assistant to return to her own room to rest, but Xiao Xiao insisted on waiting until the masseuse arrived before leaving.

“Alright, I’ll head back to my room then, Wan Wan. If you need anything, just call me.” With that, Xiao Xiao opened the door and went out, entering the room next door.

The entire massage session took an hour and a half.

Before leaving, the masseuse mustered up her courage and quietly asked Xia Wan if she could give her an autograph.

Xia Wan immediately agreed, “Of course.” Taking the paper and pen from her, she asked, “What’s your name?”

The masseuse was momentarily stunned before quickly replying, “Just call me Xiao Zheng.”

“Okay.” Xia Wan lowered her head and wrote a few words on the paper.

When the masseuse saw what was written, she repeatedly thanked her.

She had thought it would be wonderful enough just to get Xia Wan’s autograph, but Xia Wan had actually given her a personalized message.

To: Xiao Zheng

May life go smoothly,

And every day be filled with happiness.

In the lower right corner was her signature.

The next day,

Xia Wan slept until noon. Just after waking up, the doorbell to her room rang.

The person outside was her assistant, Xiao Xiao.

“Wan Wan, I had a feeling you’d be awake around this time.” Having been her assistant for two years, she was already familiar with Xia Wan’s habits.

Xia Wan wasn’t fully awake yet, her eyes still slightly dazed. “Let me go freshen up first.”

“Sure, Wan Wan. What would you like to eat?” Xiao Xiao picked up the menu on the table and asked.

Xia Wan’s voice came from the bathroom, “Anything is fine. You decide.”

“Got it.” Xiao Xiao picked up the hotel phone, dialed, and ordered a few dishes that Xia Wan liked.

She knew all of Wan Wan’s favorite foods.

By the time Xia Wan came out, the hotel had already delivered the meal to the room.

Noticing only one portion of food on the table, Xia Wan asked, “Have you eaten?”

“Yes, I have.” She had gone downstairs for breakfast after waking up.

Xia Wan picked up the coffee on the table and took a sip. “Has Sister Nan returned to Jing City?”

Xiao Xiao: “She took a flight back early in the morning. Before leaving, she reminded me to stay by your side and take good care of you.”

Xia Wan took small bites of the pasta in her bowl with a fork. “Let’s go shopping later.”

Aside from singing and dancing, shopping was her favorite activity—she loved to buy, buy, buy.

But because of her status, going out shopping wasn’t very convenient. She could only go occasionally, and even then, she had to be fully disguised.

“Alright, Wan Wan, eat a bit more.” Xiao Xiao noticed that Xia Wan had only eaten half a bowl of pasta before stopping.

Xia Wan picked up a napkin and wiped her mouth. “I just woke up and don’t have much of an appetite. I’ll eat more when I’m hungry.”

“Other assistants usually tell their artists to eat less, but you’re always encouraging me to eat more.” Xia Wan asked with a laugh.

Aside from preventing her from eating spicy food to protect her vocal cords, Xiao Xiao pretty much let her eat whatever she wanted.

“That’s because you’re not overweight, Wan Wan. That’s why I dare to let you eat more. I think you could easily gain a few more pounds without any issue.”

“Besides, all the food you eat gets burned off by your dancing.”Xia Wan was an extremely disciplined person who basically danced for several hours every day. It was only during these past few days at the hotel that she hadn’t danced.

“I wish I could be like you, Wan Wan, and never gain weight no matter what I eat,” Xiao Xiao said, looking at Xia Wan. Even in a bathrobe, her slender figure was unmistakable.

Xia Wan got up and walked to the wardrobe to pick out clothes. “I’ve told you to join me in dancing or go to the gym to work out, but you never do.”

Hearing this, Xiao Xiao immediately dismissed the idea. “Forget it then. I’m not a celebrity anyway—so what if I’m a bit chubby?”

Getting her to exercise was absolutely out of the question.
