“What an unfilial daughter!” Once she could no longer see Claret, Mrs.
Walker started throwing tantrum again.
Life as the rich madam had made her even more willful than before.
At least, behind the closed door, she was so childish and arrogant that it was nauseating.
Brenda rolled her eyes.
Honestly, she couldn’t understand what her father see from her mother to make him so devoted.
“Mom!
Come on, you will make your injury worsen!” Brenda complained in annoyance.
“Ugh…” Mrs.
Walker looked at her leg and then slumped on her bed, not wanting to talk anymore.
…
On the other hand, Claret moved swiftly and changed her clothing and appearances.
Her makeup skills were relatively average, but they should be quite passable.
At least, when she saw her appearance in the mirror, before walking for quite a distance until she found a relatively remote ATM.
The cameras in this area were broken.
The reason…
Well, let’s just say that there were quite a lot of unruly people in the area.
Claret glanced at the camera that didn’t have the lights on and knew that someone should have broken it some time ago.
There were also a few passerby in the distance.
But it didn’t matter.
Even her own mother might not recognize her since she purposely changed into man’s clothes and wore a cap that hide her long hair into a short one.
‘Time to take the money.’
Claret easily entered the card to the ATM and when she saw 50 millions inside, she was silent.
Bran is really wealthy.
“No wonder he’s the apple in the eyes of the others.” Claret’s eyes held a mocking expression as she swiftly withdraw the money into cash.
Cash is more untraceable and she could just toss the money into her space.
Anyway, the denomination is the same and it would only fit in one inventory space.
From what Claret knew, the company’s annual profit was only 200 millions and a quarter of it went to Bran’s pocket each year.
Even Mrs.
Walker and Brenda were not as rich as Bran.
As she had expected, when she checked Brenda’s card, there were only 13 millions.
As for Mrs.
Walker, she has 38 millions.
Hmm, not bad.
Uh…
Is there enough money in the ATM?
Claret was waiting patiently for the money to come out while looking at the card.
Looking at the card’s color, she felt satisfied because she knew that this was the card with the highest limit.
Even if she took out all the money in one go, the bank wouldn’t be notified.
It was quite convenient.
Anyway, Claret spent some time withdrawing all the money before she went back to the Walker Family Residence to put back Brenda and Mrs.
Walker’s bank card.
One was put in her parent’s room and the other was put in Brenda’s room.
As for whom they suspect taking it…
Who knows?
Not all maidservants and servants in this residence were honest.
Anyway, Claret then proceeded to buy a box and put all the medicine and materials that she had obtained before into the box before putting it into one of her inventory.
This was the trick that many players developed in the Survival Game in order to fit more items.
Claret naturally also used it in the early stage when the number of inventory that people could carry was extremely limited.
Later on, there were various method that they could use to expand their inventory and aside from the extremely poor one, the others no longer used this method.
‘Let’s stockpile things first.’
The good thing about the existence of the inventory was that the item’s time would be frozen on the time when they were put in.
In other words: as long as she stockpiled enough food, when she took them out to cook, they wouldn’t spoil instantly even if they were not the items from the Survival Game.
There was still a time limit of around one day before they started to turn bad and so on.
Anyway, the maximum limit seemed to be 5 days in the early stage and 3 days in the later stages.
Things outside of the Survival Game truly wouldn’t last long.
